Abstract
Description
無水:H2Oのないこと(すなわち、0.00重量%のH2Oを有する)、あるいは>0.00重量%〜0.05重量%未満、あるいは0.01重量%未満、あるいは0.001重量%未満のH2Oを有する材料の無水形態は、商業的供給源から入手するか、または当技術分野で周知の乾燥方法を使用して、水含有形態の材料から水を除去することによって調製することができる。
改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ触媒系は、気相および液相のオレフィン重合反応で使用して、モノマーおよび/またはコモノマー(複数可)の重合速度を高めることができる。液相反応には、スラリー相および溶液相が含まれる。いくつかの態様では、オレフィン重合反応は、気相、あるいは液相、あるいはスラリー相、あるいは溶液相で行われる。気相および液相オレフィン重合反応の条件は、一般によく知られている。説明のために、気相オレフィン重合反応の条件を以下に記載する。
(共)重合条件。結果として有効な変数またはそのような変数の組み合わせ,例えば触媒組成、反応物の量、2つの反応物のモル比、干渉物質(例えば、H2OおよびO2)の不在、または、本発明のポリエチレン組成物を与えるための重合反応器(複数可)における本発明の共重合方法に有効かつ有用なプロセスパラメーター(例えば、供給速度または温度)、ステップ、または順序。
式中、下付き文字「X」は試験試料を表し、下付き文字「PS」はPS標準を表し、aPS=0.67、KPS=0.000175、およびaxおよびKxは、公開された文献から取得される。ポリエチレンの場合、ax/Kx=0.695/0.000579。ポリプロピレンの場合、ax/Kx=0.705/0.0002288。結果のクロマトグラムの各ポイントで、次の方程式を使用して、ベースラインを差し引いたDRI信号IDRIから濃度cを計算する:c=KDRIIDRI/(dn/dc)、式中、KDRIはDRIのキャリブレーションによって決定される定数で、/は除算を示し、dn/dcはポリマーの屈折率の増分である。ポリエチレンの場合、dn/dc=0.109。溶出容量に対する濃度クロマトグラフィーのクロマトグラムの積分面積と、所定の濃度に注入ループ容量を掛けた値に等しい注入量との比から、ポリマーの質量回収率を計算する。特に明記しない限り、すべての分子量を1モルあたりのグラム数(g/mol)で報告する。Mw、Mn、MWDを決定する方法のさらなる詳細については、US 2006/0173123の24−25ページの段落番号[0334]〜[0341]に記載されている。y軸のdW/dLog(MW)とx軸のLog(MW)のプロットしてGPCクロマトグラムを得る(Log(MW)とdW/dLog(MW)は上記での定義したとおり)。
Claims (12)
- (A+)改質されたチーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系と(B)疎水性前処理ヒュームドシリカとのスラリーを噴霧乾燥させた生成物であって、前記(A+)改質されたチーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系が、TiCl3とMgCl2との錯体および有効量の(C)テトラヒドロフラン/エタノール改質剤を含み、前記(C)テトラヒドロフラン/エタノール改質剤が、20:80〜80:20のTHF/EtOH重量/重量比を有する生成物を含む、改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系。
- 前記(C)テトラヒドロフラン/エタノール改質剤が、25:75〜75:25のTHF/EtOH重量/重量比を有する、請求項1に記載の改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系。
- (i)前記チタン錯体がTiCl4およびMg金属から作製されること、(ii)前記チタン錯体がTiCl3.AAおよびMgCl2から作製されること、(iii)前記(B)疎水性前処理ヒュームドシリカが、未処理ヒュームドシリカをシリコンベースの疎水化剤で前処理した生成物であること、(iv)前記疎水性前処理ヒュームドシリカが、未処理ヒュームドシリカを、塩化トリメチルシリル、ジメチルジクロロシラン、ポリジメチルシロキサン流体、ヘキサメチルジシラザン、オクチルトリアルコキシシラン(例えば、オクチルトリメトキシシラン)、およびそれらのうちのいずれか2つ以上の組み合わせから選択されるシリコンベースの疎水化剤で前処理した生成物であること、ならびに(v)(ii)および(iv)の両方、である制限(i)〜(v)のうちのいずれか1つによってさらに説明される、請求項1または2に記載の改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系を作製する方法であって、前記構成成分(A+)と(B)との前記スラリーを噴霧乾燥させて、前記改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系を得ることを含み、前記スラリー中、前記(C)テトラヒドロフラン/エタノール改質剤が、20:80〜80:20のTHF/EtOH重量/重量比を有する、方法。
- 改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ触媒系を還元する方法であって、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系、または請求項4に記載の方法によって作製された前記改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系を、TiCl3とMgCl2との錯体を化学的に還元するのに有効な還元剤と接触させ、それにより、化学的に還元された改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系を得ることを含む、方法。
- 請求項5に記載の方法によって調製された化学的に還元された改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系。
- 化学的に還元された改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系を活性化する方法であって、請求項6に記載の化学的に還元された改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ前駆触媒系を活性化剤と接触させ、それにより、改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ触媒系を作製することを含む、方法。
- 請求項7に記載の方法によって作製された改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ触媒系。
- ポリエチレン組成物を作製する方法であって、エチレン(モノマー)および任意選択的に0、1、またはそれ以上の(C3−C20)アルファ−オレフィン(コモノマー)を、請求項9に記載の改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ触媒系と接触させて、それぞれ、ポリエチレンホモポリマーまたはエチレン/(C3−C20)アルファ−オレフィンコポリマーを含むポリエチレン組成物、および前記改質された噴霧乾燥チーグラー・ナッタ触媒系、またはその副生成物を得ることを含む、方法。
- (共)重合条件下で、分子状水素ガス(H2)および任意選択的に誘導凝縮剤(ICA)の存在下、1、2、またはそれ以上の気相重合反応器内で気相重合し、それにより、前記ポリエチレン組成物を作製することを含み、前記(共)重合条件が、摂氏80度(℃)〜110℃の反応温度、0.001〜0.050の前記分子状水素ガス:前記エチレンのモル比(H2/C2モル比)、および0.005〜0.10の前記コモノマー:前記エチレンのモル比(コモノマー/C2モル比)を含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 請求項9または10に記載の方法によって作製されたポリエチレン組成物。
