Claims (20)
- 近位部分及び遠位部分を備え、患者の体管腔内に挿入される可撓性細長部材と、前記可撓性細長部材の前記遠位部分に配設された超音波撮像アセンブリとを備える、管腔内撮像デバイスであって、
前記超音波撮像アセンブリは、
支持部材と、
前記支持部材の周りに位置付けられ、近位領域及び遠位領域を含む可撓性基板であって、前記近位領域が、複数の基板リボンを画定する複数の切り抜きを備える、可撓性基板と、
前記可撓性基板の前記遠位領域内に一体化された複数のトランスデューサ要素と、
前記可撓性基板の前記近位領域上に配設された複数の制御回路と、
を備える、管腔内撮像デバイス。 - 前記支持部材は、近位部分及び遠位部分を備え、当該近位部分は、複数の平面表面上に前記制御回路を受け入れるためのサイズ及び形状にされている当該複数の平面表面を備える、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記支持部材の前記近位部分は、六角形の形状である、請求項2に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記支持部材の前記遠位部分は、複数のトランスデューサ要素を受け入れるスプールを備える、請求項2に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記可撓性基板の前記遠位領域は、前記支持部材の周りに位置付けられたときに円筒形の形状である、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記可撓性基板は、前記支持部材の周りに位置付けられたときに多角形の形状となる中央領域を備える、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記可撓性基板の前記遠位領域、前記中央領域、及び前記近位領域、各々は、前記支持部材の周りに位置付けられたときに異なる形状を有する、請求項6に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記可撓性基板の前記近位領域及び前記中央領域は各々、前記支持部材の周りに巻き付けられたときに各自の形状を容易にするように配置された複数の切り込みを備える、請求項7に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記可撓性基板は、同一線上の複数の切り込みを備える中央領域を備える、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 前記複数の制御回路の各々は、前記複数の基板リボンのそれぞれの上に配設される、請求項1に記載の管腔内撮像デバイス。
- 近位領域及び遠位領域を備える可撓性基板を準備するステップであって、前記近位領域が、複数の基板リボンを画定する複数の切り抜きを備え、前記遠位領域が、一体化された複数の超音波トランスデューサ要素を含む、準備するステップと、
複数の制御回路を前記可撓性基板の前記近位領域に置くステップと、
前記可撓性基板を支持部材の周りに位置付けるステップとを有する、
方法。 - 前記支持部材は、近位部分及び遠位部分を備え、前記近位部分は、複数の平面表面上に前記制御回路を受け入れるためのサイズ及び形状にされた当該複数の平面表面を備える、請求項11に記載の方法。

- 前記複数の超音波トランスデューサ要素は、複数の静電容量型微細加工超音波トランスデューサを備える、請求項11に記載の方法。
