Abstract
Description
部を備えているため、雄端子及び雌端子間の接触抵抗を調整可能であり、さらに、雌端子と金属バンドとの間に配置された環状バンドが電気絶縁性及び熱絶縁性を有する材料からなるため、金属バンドないし調整部における放熱が抑制される。よって、雄端子と雌端子との接続部における発熱量の評価精度の低下が抑制される。
に、雄コネクタ10は、一対の雄端子11と、保護アース端子12と、一対の充電連結確認端子13と、一対の充電通信端子14と、雄ケーシング15と、を有している。
ように、筒部27の軸方向と平行な方向における先端部27aの長さは、6mmに設定されている。
度が安定する(雄端子11と雌端子21との接続部における発熱の影響が実質的に無視可能となる)ことが確認された。
作が可能となる操作空間17Sが雄端子11の周囲に形成されるように、各筒壁17の一部が除去される。これにより、各雄端子11の一部が露出する。このため、除去工程では、雄端子11同士、あるいは、雄端子11と他の端子12〜14との短絡が生じるのを抑制可能な部位、すなわち、筒壁17のうち一対の筒壁17同士が互いに対向する部位とは異なる部位が除去される。本実施形態では、筒壁17のうち雄端子11保護アース端子12とを結ぶ方向における雄端子11の外側の部位が除去される。
、雄端子と雌端子との接続部における発熱量(温度上昇の程度)を適切に評価することが可能となる。このため、評価結果に基づいて各端子を設計することが可能となる。
却性能の適切な評価結果を得ることが可能となる。具体的に、雄端子側の測定点は、底壁の表面から4.5mmの点である。この点では、雄端子の断面積が十分に大きいため、接触抵抗に与える影響が小さくなる。また、雌端子側の測定点は、底壁の前記表面から43mmの点である。この点は、雄端子を含む充電コネクタを設計する際における規格の影響を受ける領域と影響を受けない領域との境界付近である。このため、この点で測定した接触抵抗以下となるように充電インレットの雌端子を設計することにより、前記規格を満足する充電コネクタによって充電が行われた際、充電時における雄端子及び雌端子の温度が基準値以下に抑えられる。
金属バンドによる前記雌端子の締付け力を調整することが好ましい。

- 充電コネクタの一対の雄端子に接続可能な一対の雌端子と、
前記雌端子と前記雄端子との接触抵抗を調整可能な調整部材と、を備え、
前記雌端子は、縮径可能であり、
前記調整部材は、
前記雌端子の外周面に取り付けられており、前記雌端子を包囲する環状に形成された環状バンドと、
前記環状バンドの外周面に取り付けられており、前記雌端子を縮径させる外力を当該雌端子に対して付与可能な金属バンドと、
前記金属バンドによる前記雌端子に対する前記外力を調整可能な調整部と、を有し、
前記環状バンドは、電気絶縁性及び熱絶縁性を有する材料からなる、評価治具。
