Claims (9)
- 表示面側に設けられて表示素子から外部へのノイズの放出を防止する第1の電極層と、
前記第1の電極層よりも外側に設けられて位置検出を行う第2の電極層と、
表示面に接近する指示体の検出用に前記第1および第2の電極層に入力する検出用信号を生成する検出用信号生成部と、
共通電圧を印加して前記表示素子を駆動する共通電極と、
前記検出用信号を前記第1および第2の電極層に印加することにより前記第1の電極層から前記共通電極に漏れる信号成分を打ち消す打消し信号を生成する打消し信号生成部と、
前記共通電圧に前記打消し信号を重畳する共通電圧補正部と、
を備えることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記検出用信号は、正弦波信号であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記打消し信号生成部は、前記検出用信号生成部から出力される前記検出用信号を用いて前記打消し信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記打消し信号生成部は、前記検出用信号生成部から出力される前記検出用信号の位相と振幅を調整することにより前記打消し信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記打消し信号生成部は、前記共通電極の電圧に基づいて前記打消し信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記打消し信号生成部は、前記共通電極の電圧の位相と振幅を調整することにより前記打消し信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第2の電極層は、表示面の隣接する2辺のそれぞれに平行で互いに交差する複数の電極を有しており、
これら複数の電極の一方端に前記検出用信号を入力し、これら複数の電極の他方端から前記指示体の検出用信号を取り出すことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記共通電極の複数箇所に前記打消し信号を入力することを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記表示素子を用いた表示動作と、前記検出用信号の前記第1および第2の電極層への入力動作は並行して行われることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の液晶表示装置。
