Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a sterilizer and an indoor sterilization system that sterilize a space, the surface of an article, or the like using ultraviolet rays.
Conventionally, as an indoor sterilizer provided with an ultraviolet light source, for example, there is a technique described in
However, sterilizers used for air purification purposes are often installed in rooms where people are present. In the technique described in
Therefore, the present invention provides a sterilizer and an indoor sterilization system capable of effectively sterilizing indoor air without being affected by ultraviolet rays on the human body even when a person is present in the room. The challenge is to do.
In order to solve the above problems, one aspect of the sterilizer according to the present invention is from a housing, a first light source arranged in the housing and emitting ultraviolet rays having a peak wavelength of 222 nm, and the first light source. A first light source unit having an optical filter that transmits ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 222 nm among the emitted ultraviolet rays and a dimming unit that dims the ultraviolet rays radiated from the first light source, and arranged in the housing. The first light source unit is provided with a second light source unit having a second light source that radiates ultraviolet rays contained in a wavelength range of 190 nm to 300 nm, and the first light source unit is at least the lower side of the space partitioned above and below. The space is irradiated with ultraviolet rays radiated from the first light source and passed through the optical filter and the dimming portion, and the second light source portion is applied only to the upper space of the upper and lower partitioned spaces. Irradiate the ultraviolet rays emitted from the second light source.
In this way, the spaces partitioned above and below can be sterilized by irradiating them with separate ultraviolet rays. Here, at least the lower space can be irradiated with ultraviolet rays having a dimmed wavelength of 222 nm. Therefore, the space in which a person can exist can be sterilized by irradiating it with ultraviolet rays that do not affect the human body. In addition, the upper space where no human is present is irradiated with ultraviolet rays within a wavelength range of 190 nm to 300 nm, which includes a wavelength range that may affect the human body. Therefore, the second light source unit does not require a mechanism for removing ultraviolet rays in a wavelength range that may affect the human body, and can be inexpensive and have a simple configuration.
Further, in the above sterilizer, the first light source may be constantly lit. The ultraviolet rays radiated from the first light source to the lower space are ultraviolet rays that do not affect the human body. Therefore, even when a person is present in the lower space, it is not necessary to turn off the first light source, and the light source can be kept on all the time. Therefore, it is not necessary to control the lighting of the first light source according to the presence or absence of the human body in the lower space.
Further, in the above sterilizer, the dimming portion may be composed of a plate-shaped member having a plurality of openings. In this case, the ultraviolet rays emitted from the first light source can be dimmed with a simple configuration. In addition, since the dose of ultraviolet rays passing through the dimming part can be adjusted by the number and size of the openings, the irradiation dose of ultraviolet rays to the lower space should be adjusted and the exposure dose of the human body should be adjusted appropriately. Can be done.
Further, in the above sterilizer, the first light source portion irradiates the upper space with ultraviolet rays radiated from the first light source and not passing through at least one of the optical filter and the dimming portion. May be good. In this way, the upper space may be irradiated with light before being converted into ultraviolet rays that do not appropriately affect the human body in the first light source unit. In this case, the irradiation dose of ultraviolet rays in the upper space can be increased, and the bactericidal effect can be enhanced.
Further, in the sterilizer, the first light source is attached to the upper surface of the housing in the housing and emits ultraviolet rays downward, and the second light source is in the housing. The optical filter and the dimming portion are arranged on the surface of the housing that is attached to the side surface of the housing and radiates ultraviolet rays in the horizontal direction and faces the surface of the housing to which the first light source is mounted. An opening may be formed on a surface facing the surface on which the second light source is attached. In this case, the upper space and the lower space can be appropriately partitioned and irradiated with different ultraviolet rays.
Further, in the above sterilizer, the first light source can be a Kr-Cl excimer lamp. In this case, the spectrum can be a spectrum having a peak at a wavelength of 222 nm, which does not reach the nucleus of the human cell but reaches the nucleus of the bacterial cell.
Further, in the above sterilizer, the second light source can be a low pressure mercury lamp. In this case, the second light source unit can be constructed at low cost.
Further, in the above sterilizer, the second light source may be a Kr-Cl excimer lamp. In this case, ultraviolet rays having little influence on the human body can be emitted from the second light source unit.
Furthermore, one aspect of the indoor sterilization system according to the present invention includes any of the above sterilizers installed above the room. In this way, by installing the above sterilizer in the upper part of the room, the room is divided into an upper space where no person exists and a lower space where people can exist, and separate ultraviolet rays are irradiated to sterilize the room. be able to. Since the lower space can be irradiated with ultraviolet rays having a dimmed wavelength of 222 nm, even if there is a person in the room, the air in the room is not affected by the ultraviolet rays on the human body. Can be effectively sterilized.
Further, in the above-mentioned indoor sterilization system, the sterilizer may be attached to at least one of the ceiling and the wall in the room. In this case, the room can be sterilized appropriately without affecting the human body existing in the room.
Further, in the above-mentioned indoor sterilization system, at least a part of the wall and the floor of the room may be provided with an ultraviolet reflector that reflects ultraviolet rays. In this case, since the ultraviolet rays radiated from the light source unit can be reflected by the ultraviolet reflector, the ultraviolet rays can be indirectly irradiated to the area where the ultraviolet rays are not directly irradiated from the light source unit, and the sterilization is more effective. can do.
Further, in the above-mentioned indoor sterilization system, the ultraviolet reflector may be made of a fluororesin. In this case, ultraviolet rays can be appropriately reflected.
According to one aspect of the present invention, even when a person is present in the room, the air in the room can be effectively sterilized without being affected by ultraviolet rays on the human body.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing an
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the

FIG. 2 is a diagram showing the absorption level of ultraviolet rays into DNA. FIG. 2 shows the absorption level of thymine (THYMINE), which is one of the bases constituting DNA. In FIG. 2, the horizontal axis is the wavelength of ultraviolet rays, and the vertical axis is the absorption coefficient.
As shown in FIG. 2, the absorption coefficient of DNA is the same at the wavelength of 222 nm and the wavelength of 254 nm. That is, the level of action on the DNA in bacterial cells is the same and the bactericidal effect (bactericidal speed) is also the same when irradiated with ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 222 nm and when irradiated with ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 254 nm. Understand.
On the other hand, it is known that ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 254 nm penetrate to the epidermis of the human skin and damage living cells. On the other hand, ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 222 nm have a higher absorption coefficient to proteins than ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 254 nm, and are absorbed by the skin of the human body or the outermost surface of the eyes. Therefore, even if the human body is irradiated with ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 222 nm, there is no risk of having an effect such as skin cancer or cataract.
That is, ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 222 nm are light that can obtain a bactericidal effect without affecting the human body (skin, eyes, etc.).
Therefore, in the present embodiment, among the spaces partitioned above and below, at least the
As shown in FIG. 2, the absorption coefficient of DNA for ultraviolet rays having a wavelength exceeding 300 nm is 0. That is, ultraviolet rays having a wavelength exceeding 300 nm have no bactericidal effect. Therefore, as described above, the upper limit of the wavelength range of the ultraviolet rays emitted by the second
Returning to FIG. 1, the
As shown in FIG. 3, the spectrum of the Kr-Cl excimer lamp has a peak at a wavelength of 222 nm which does not affect the human body, but as shown in FIG. 4, an enlarged view of the portion surrounded by the broken line A in FIG. 3 shows the wavelength. It also contains a small amount of light other than 222 nm. That is, the Kr-Cl excimer lamp emits a small amount of light in a wavelength range that can affect the human body.
The
The
As shown in FIG. 5, for example, the dimming
As described above, the
Then, the first light source unit radiates the
Further, when the
That is, in the present embodiment, in the
FIG. 7 is an example of a specific configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 7, the

An

In the
With such a configuration, as shown in FIG. 8, the ultraviolet UV1'with a wavelength of 222 nm radiated from the first
In the

Further, in the
The
In this case, as shown in FIGS. 13 and 14, the
As shown in FIG. 13, when the
The number and position of installation of the
As described above, the
The first light source unit includes a first
Here, the first
As a result, the
Further, as shown in FIG. 8, when the
Further, for example, as shown in FIG. 12, when the
Further, since the ultraviolet rays UV1 ”radiated from the first light source unit to the
Further, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the
Further, when the dimming
The
Therefore, if the
As described above, in the
(Modification example)
As shown in FIG. 17, the
The
Further, in the
As described above, the first light source unit may irradiate the
Further, in this case, the
