Abstract
Description
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a power conversion device.
The power converter is required to have high safety. A partial discharge test may be performed to ensure the safety of the power converter. For the partial discharge test, for example, the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan, Electrical Standards Committee (JEC) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards have been established according to the type of device.
In a measuring device that measures partial discharge (corona discharge) of a device or a part, it is necessary to provide a coupling capacitor having an impedance sufficiently smaller than the impedance of the measured object at the time of measurement. On the other hand, the electrostatic capacitance of the capacitor used in the main circuit may be set to a large value depending on the output capacitance of the power converter and the like. Therefore, the impedance between the measurement terminals may be lower than the impedance of the coupling capacitor, and the partial discharge test may not be performed accurately.
The embodiment provides a power converter capable of setting a high impedance between test terminals during a partial discharge test.
The power converter according to the embodiment performs power conversion on a DC voltage that is output or input. This power converter includes a main circuit including a capacitor that applies the DC voltage. The capacitor includes a first capacitor having a first capacitance value, a first main terminal to which one electrode of the first capacitor is connected, and a second main terminal to which the other electrode of the first capacitor is connected. A terminal, a second capacitor having a second capacitance value smaller than the first capacitance value, a first auxiliary terminal to which one electrode of the second capacitor is connected, and the other of the second capacitors A second auxiliary terminal to which the electrode is connected, the first main terminal and the first auxiliary terminal are electrically connected, and a detachably provided first shorting bar, the second main terminal and the And a second short-circuit bar which is electrically connected between the second auxiliary terminals and is detachably provided.
In the present embodiment, a power conversion device capable of setting a high impedance between test terminals during a partial discharge test is realized.

(First embodiment)
FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating a power conversion device according to this embodiment.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
In addition, in this specification, although the power converter which performs the power conversion between AC-DC as mentioned above is demonstrated, the power conversion which has the conversion circuit which performs the conversion between DC-DC and the power conversion between AC-AC. The same can be applied to the device.
The
The
FIG. 2A is a schematic perspective view illustrating the appearance of a capacitor used in a power conversion device. FIG. 2B is an example of an equivalent circuit of the capacitor of FIG.
As shown in FIG. 2A, the
In this example, the
The
In this example, the
The short-
The short-
As described later in detail, the short-
As shown in FIG. 2B, the
The remaining one
Although the electrostatic capacitance values of all the
3A and 3B are simplified circuit diagrams illustrating a part of the power conversion device according to the embodiment.
3A and 3B are examples of the
As shown in FIG. 3A, the
As shown in FIG. 3B, the
The main circuit is not limited to the above-mentioned circuit type, and may be any other type as long as the
The capacitance of the
Therefore, in the
FIG. 4A is a block diagram schematically illustrating the method of the partial discharge test. FIG. 4B is an example of an equivalent circuit in the partial discharge test of the capacitor of FIG. 2B.
As shown in FIG. 4A, the partial
The device under
When performing the partial discharge test, a test voltage is applied by the
Here, when the impedance between the measurement terminals of the device under
As shown in FIG. 4B, when performing a partial discharge test, the
The (N-1)
It is known that the resistance to corona discharge depends on the shape of an object to which a voltage is applied. Depending on the standard of the partial discharge test, it may be permitted to prepare capacitors having the same shape and different capacitance values and use an alternative capacitor for the partial discharge test.
In the
In the
(Second embodiment)
The capacitor used in the power converter is not limited to the case where a plurality of unit capacitors housed in a single case as described above are switched by selecting connection or disconnection of the short-circuit bar outside the case, and a plurality of capacitors are used. May be.
FIG. 5A is a perspective view showing an example of the appearance of a capacitor used in the power conversion device of this embodiment and its equivalent circuit. FIG. 5B is a perspective view showing the appearance of the capacitor of FIG. 5A during a partial discharge test and its equivalent circuit.
As shown in FIG. 5A, a
The
In the
The short-
The capacitance value of the
When the power converter operates normally, the
As shown in FIG. 5B, when performing the partial discharge test, at least one of the short-
Since the
