Abstract
Description
図1は、第1実施形態に係る推進装置1Aの概念図である。本実施形態の推進装置1Aおよび後述する第2および第3実施形態の推進装置1B,1Cは、一例として、鞍乗乗物に搭載される推進駆動装置が説明される。鞍乗乗物は、運転者が跨って着座するシートあるいはサドルを備える乗物であり、車輪の有無は限定されない。鞍乗乗物の好適例として、自動二輪車(いわゆるスクータも含む)、自動三輪車、バギー車、および、小型滑走艇を挙げることができる。
図1に戻って、燃焼室S1は、ピストン15の上面よりもシリンダ軸方向上側に形成されている。燃焼室S1の天井面は、シリンダヘッド11によって形成されている。燃焼室S1、特にその天井面に、1以上の吸気口18および1以上の排気口19が開口している。吸気口18は、シリンダヘッド11内に形成された吸気ポート20と連通し、吸気ポート20ひいては吸気通路の下流端を成している。排気口19は、シリンダヘッド11内に形成された排気ポート21と連通し、排気ポート21ひいては排気通路の上流端を成している。
このエンジン6は、吸気系を構成する要素として、エアクリーナ39、過給機31、吸気チャンバボックス32およびスロットル装置33を備えている。この吸気系においては、外気が吸気として取り込まれ、エアクリーナ39で浄化される。浄化された吸気が過給機31で圧縮され、吸気チャンバボックス32に流入する。過給機31は、一例として、メカニカルスーパーチャージャーであり、クランク軸16によって回転駆動される。メカニカルスーパーチャージャーには、種々の型式があるが、本実施形態では、過給機31は、遠心式ポンプで実現されている。吸気チャンバボックス32は、吸気圧脈動を吸収する。
図5は、ある気筒における吸排気弁リフト量の推移、燃料噴射時期および点火時期を示すグラフである。ここでは、ピストン15が上死点にあるときのクランク角度を便宜上0°あるいは360°とし、ピストン15が下死点にあるときのクランク角度を便宜上180°としている。エンジン6は、2スロトークエンジンであり、ピストン15が上死点から次の上死点まで1往復する間に、1つの気筒における燃焼サイクルが完結する。
次に、第2実施形態に係る推進装置1Bについて、図7および図8を参照して説明する。
次に、第3実施形態に係る推進装置1Cについて、図9および図10を参照して説明する。
これまで実施形態について説明したが、上記構成は本発明の趣旨の範囲内で適宜変更、追加または削除可能である。
例えば、吸排気ポートの数も上記実施形態で説明された数に限定されない。また、例えば、スロットル装置33は電子制御式でなくてもよいし、スロットル弁34は気筒ごとに設けられなくてもよく、軽量化を図るべく、複数の気筒に対して1つのスロットル弁34を設けてもよい。また、エンジン6は蓄電装置3への充電のために駆動されるため、エンジン6の駆動に応答性は要求されない。このため、エンジン回転数に応じて絞り量が調整されるガバナー形式のスロットル弁を用いてもよい。

Claims (10)
- 予め定められた定速回転範囲で駆動される内燃機関と、前記内燃機関によって入力軸が回転されることで発電する少なくとも1つの発電用電動機とを備える発電システムであって、
前記内燃機関は、
シリンダ内で往復するピストンと、
吸気口を開閉する吸気弁および排気口を開閉する排気弁を動作させる動弁機構と、
前記シリンダ内に導くための吸気を圧縮する過給機と、
燃料を供給する燃料供給装置と、を有し、
前記ピストンが、上死点から次の上死点まで1往復する間であって、
前記排気弁も前記吸気弁も開弁している期間であるバルブオーバーラップ期間が存在するように前記動弁機構が前記吸気弁および前記排気弁を動作させ、
前記排気弁の閉弁後に、前記燃料供給装置が前記燃料を前記シリンダ内に供給し、
前記排気弁も前記吸気弁も閉弁している期間に、前記シリンダ内の混合気が燃焼される、発電システム。 - 前記吸気口および前記排気口が、シリンダ軸方向において、上死点に位置するときの前記ピストンから見て、前記ピストンに連結されたクランク軸とは反対側に位置するよう形成される、請求項1に記載の発電システム。
- 前記燃料供給装置が前記吸気弁の閉弁後に前記燃料を前記シリンダ内に噴射する直噴インジェクタである、請求項1または2に記載の発電システム。
- 前記発電用電動機の入力軸が、前記内燃機関の出力軸と等速回転するよう前記内燃機関の出力軸に接続される、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の発電システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの発電用電動機は、複数の発電用電動機を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の発電システム。
- 前記複数の発電用電動機は、前記ピストンと連結されたクランク軸の軸方向に互いに並んで配置される、請求項5に記載の発電システム。
- 前記内燃機関は、前記ピストンと連結されたクランク軸と等速回転して連動し、前記クランク軸の一次偶力振動を抑制するバランサ軸を有し、
前記発電用電動機の前記入力軸は、前記クランク軸から前記バランサ軸を介して動力が伝達される、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の発電システム。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の発電システムと、
前記発電システムによって発電される電力を蓄える蓄電装置と、
前記蓄電装置から供給される電力によって推進駆動源として機能する推進用電動機と、を備える、推進装置。 - 前記内燃機関は、前記シリンダ内に導く吸気量を調整するスロットル弁と、前記スロットル弁を駆動するアクチュエータと、を更に有しており、
前記蓄電装置の蓄電量および前記推進用電動機に対する推進要求量の少なくとも一方に基づいて、前記アクチュエータを制御する制御装置を更に備える、請求項8に記載の推進装置。 - 陸上を走行する走行体または空中を飛行する飛行体に搭載される、請求項8または9に記載の推進装置。
