Claims (39)
- 骨内アクセスデバイスであって、
デバイス本体と、
前記デバイス本体に含まれるトロカール針と、
前記トロカール針に取り外し可能に配設される骨内カテーテルであって、前記デバイス本体が、前記アクセスデバイスのユーザが前記トロカール針の遠位先端を患者の身体の皮膚表面を通して前記患者の骨の外部表面まで手動で挿入するのを可能にするように構成される、骨内カテーテルと、
前記トロカール針の前記遠位先端が前記骨の前記外部表面まで挿入された後において、前記トロカール針及び骨内カテーテルを前記患者の前記骨の内部部分に選択的に遠位に前進させるように構成された前進機構と、を含む骨内アクセスデバイス。 - 前記デバイス本体は、ピストルグリップ形状を含む、請求項1に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記前進機構は、前記トロカール針及び前記骨内カテーテルを遠位に前進させるための遠位前進力を提供する、請求項1に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記前進機構は、ばねを含み、前記ばねは、前記遠位前進力を提供する、請求項3に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記遠位前進力は、前記アクセスデバイスのユーザによって大きさが変更可能である、請求項3に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記遠位前進力は、調整構成要素を介してユーザにより変更可能である、請求項5に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記調整構成要素は、前記アクセスデバイスの前記本体に取り付けられた調整ダイヤルを含む、請求項6に記載のアクセスデバイス。

- 前記所定の深さは、調整構成要素を介して調整可能である、請求項9に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記前進機構は、解放トリガによって作動するように構成される、請求項1に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記アクセスデバイスは、安全スイッチを更に含み、前記安全スイッチは、前記解放トリガの不意な作動を防止するように構成される、請求項11に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記前進機構は、前記骨内カテーテルの遠位先端を前記骨の骨内部分に遠位に前進させるように構成される、請求項1に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記アクセスデバイスは、前記骨内カテーテルを脛骨、胸骨、及び、上腕骨のうちの少なくとも1つの中に配置するように構成される、請求項1に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記トロカール針は、前記アクセスデバイスの使用前に、前記デバイス本体から遠位に延びる、請求項1に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記前進機構は、ドリル、化学系装薬、及び、ばねのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記骨内カテーテルは、ハブ、剛性遠位部分、及び、前記ハブ及び前記剛性遠位部分間に介在する可撓性カテーテル部分、を含み、前記剛性遠位部分は、前記前進機構による前記トロカール針及び前記骨内カテーテルの前進の後で、前記骨の前記外部表面を通して配設されるように構成される、請求項1に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記骨内カテーテルは、ハブ及びカニューレを含み、前記カニューレは、前記骨内カテーテルの縦長さを調整するのを可能にするように前記ハブに対して摺動可能である、請求項1に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 骨内カテーテルを患者の骨の中に挿入するための方法であって、
手の力によって、骨内アクセスデバイスのトロカール針を、患者の身体の皮膚表面を通して前記骨の外部表面まで、挿入するステップであって、前記骨内カテーテルが前記トロカール針に取り外し可能に配設されている、ステップと、
前記トロカール針を前記骨の前記外部表面まで挿入後に、前記骨内アクセスデバイスに含められる前進機構によって、前記骨内カテーテルの遠位端部が前記骨の骨内材料の中に配設されるように、前記トロカール針を前記骨の中に、所定の距離だけ、前進させるステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記トロカール針を前進させるステップは、遠位前進力を介して前記トロカール針を前進させることを更に含む、請求項19に記載の、挿入するための方法。
- 前記トロカール針を、ばねによって提供される遠位前進力を介して、前進させるステップを更に含む、請求項20に記載の、挿入するための方法。
- 前記所定の距離は、前記骨内アクセスデバイスのユーザによる調整に応じて変更可能である、請求項19に記載の、挿入するための方法。
- 前記トロカール針を前進させるステップの前に、調整構成要素を介した前記トロカール針の挿入のために前記所定の距離を選択するステップを更に含む、請求項19に記載の、挿入するための方法。
- 前記骨内カテーテルが前記骨の前記骨内材料中に配設された後で前記骨内カテーテルの縦長さを調整するステップを更に含む、請求項19に記載の、挿入するための方法。
- 前記縦長さを調整するステップは、前記骨内カテーテルのハブ部分に対して前記骨内カテーテルのカニューレ部分を摺動させることを含む、請求項24に記載の、挿入するための方法。
- 前記縦長さを調整するステップは、相互に対して、また、前記骨内カテーテルのハブ部分に対して、第1のカニューレ部分及び第2のカニューレ部分を摺動させることを含む、請求項24に記載の、挿入するための方法。
- 骨内アクセスデバイスであって、
デバイス本体と、
前記デバイス本体に含まれるトロカール針であって、
前記トロカール針に取り外し可能に骨内カテーテルが配設され、前記デバイス本体が、前記アクセスデバイスのユーザが前記トロカール針の遠位先端を患者の身体の皮膚表面を通して前記患者の骨の外部表面まで挿入するのを手動で可能にするように構成される、とロカール針と、
前記トロカール針の前記遠位先端が前記骨の前記外部表面まで挿入された後において、前記トロカール針及び骨内カテーテルを、前記患者の前記骨の内部部分に、前進させる選択的な手段と、を含むアクセスデバイス。 - 前記前進させる選択的な手段は、前記デバイス本体の内部に配設される、請求項27に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記デバイス本体は、前記アクセスデバイスの使用前に前記トロカール針を覆うように構成される入れ子式部分を含む、請求項27に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記デバイス本体は、前記骨内カテーテルが前記骨の前記内部部分に挿入されて前記トロカール針が前記患者から取り外された後において、前記トロカール針を覆うように構成される入れ子式部分を含む、請求項27に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記前進させるための選択的な手段は、前記ユーザによる作動時に遠位前進力を前記トロカール針及び前記骨内カテーテルに付与するように構成されたばねを含む、請求項27に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 前記前進させる選択的な手段は、解放トリガを介して作動されるように構成される、請求項27に記載のアクセスデバイス。
- 骨内カテーテルであって、
ハブと、
剛性遠位部分と、
前記ハブ及び前記剛性遠位部分間に介在する可撓性カテーテル部分と、を含み、前記剛性遠位部分が患者の壁の骨壁に配設されるように構成され、前記可撓性カテーテル部分の一部分が前記患者の外部に存在するように構成される、骨内カテーテル。 - 前記可撓性カテーテル部分に摺動可能に配設され、前記可撓性カテーテル部分を所定の角度で曲げるように構成されるエルボ部片と、
前記剛性遠位部分から前記ハブまで近位に延びる固定ワイヤであって、前記固定ワイヤが、前記患者からの前記カテーテルの取り外し中に、前記剛性遠位部分が前記患者の前記骨壁から引いて取り外されるのを可能にするように構成される、固定ワイヤと、
を更に含む、請求項33に記載のカテーテル。 - 前記カテーテルは、アクセスデバイスによって、前記患者の骨壁の中に挿入されるように構成され、
前記アクセスデバイスは、前記カテーテルをその上に受容するように構成されるトロカール針を含み、

前記トロカール針の遠位先端及び前記カテーテルを、皮膚表面を通して患者の骨の外部表面まで、遠位に前進させるのに十分である第1の遠位前進力を提供するように構成される第1の前進部材と、
前記第1の前進部材が前記トロカールの前記遠位先端及び前記カテーテルを前記骨の前記外部表面まで前進させた後において、前記トロカール針の前記遠位先端及び前記カテーテルを、前記骨の前記外部表面を通して、遠位に前進させるのに十分である第2の遠位前進力を提供するように構成される第2の前進部材と、
を含む、骨内アクセスデバイス。 - 前記第1の前進部材は、第1のばねであり、
前記第2の前進部材は、第2のばねであり、
前記第2のばねによって提供される前記第2の遠位前進力は、前記第1のばねによって提供される前記第1の遠位前進力に対して大きさがより大きい、請求項36に記載のアクセスデバイス。 - 前記第1のばねは、第1のトリガによって作動され、
前記第2のばねは、第2のトリガによって作動される、請求項37に記載のアクセスデバイス。 - 前記第1のトリガ及び前記第2のトリガの少なくとも一方は、ユーザによって提供される近位に方向付けられた手の力を介して作動される、請求項38に記載のアクセスデバイス。
