Claims (14)
- 液晶表示画素構成であって、
画素開口領域内に位置している画素電極であって、電圧同一且つ当該画素電極の延伸方向が異なる、上下配列されている少なくとも2つの表示エリアを有する、画素電極と、
前記少なくとも2つの表示エリアの境目に位置し、前記少なくとも2つの表示エリアの境目の縁の何れもに重なるゲート信号線と、
前記画素開口領域の縁に配置されているデータ信号線と、
トラジスタであって、前記画素電極が当該トラジスタを介して前記ゲート信号線及び前記データ信号線により制御されている、トラジスタとを含む、液晶表示画素構成。 - 液晶表示画素構成であって、
画素開口領域内に位置している画素電極であって、上下配列されている少なくとも2つの表示エリアを有する画素電極と、
前記少なくとも2つの表示エリアの境目に位置し、前記少なくとも2つの表示エリア境目の縁の何れもに重なるゲート信号線と、
前記画素開口領域の縁に配置されているデータ信号線と、
トラジスタであって、前記画素電極が当該トラジスタを介して前記ゲート信号線及び前記データ信号線により制御されている、トラジスタとを含む、液晶表示画素構成。 - 前記少なくとも2つの表示エリアにおいては、画素電極の延伸方向が異なる請求項2に記載の液晶表示画素構成。
- 前記少なくとも2つの表示エリアは、電位が同一である請求項2に記載の液晶表示画素構成。
- 液晶表示デバイスであって、
水平方向に延伸している複数本のゲート信号線と、垂直方向に延伸している複数本のデータ信号線とがアレイとなるように交差して、複数の画素エリアが定義されており、
画素エリアごとに、請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示画素構成が含まれる、液晶表示デバイス。 - 隣接している2つ画素エリアの間の領域は、空白またはコモン電極線が配置された領域である、請求項5に記載の液晶表示デバイス。
- 液晶表示画素構成であって、
前記画素開口領域の縁に配置されているデータ信号線と、
画素開口領域内に位置している画素電極であって、少なくとも4つの表示エリアを有し、前記画素電極の第1表示エリア及び第2表示エリアが左右配列され、前記画素電極の第3表示エリア及び第4表示エリアが左右配列され、前記少なくとも4つの表示エリアの電位が同一であり、かつ前記第1表示エリア、前記第2表示エリア、前記第3表示エリア及び前記第4表示エリアの液晶分子がそれぞれ前記データ信号線に対して45度、135度、225度及び315度となる方向に回転する、前記画素電極と、
ゲート信号線であって、前記第1表示エリア及び前記第2表示エリアが当該ゲート信号線の上に配置され、前記第1表示エリア及び前記第2表示エリアの下縁がいずれも当該ゲート信号線に重なり、前記第3表示エリア及び前記第4表示エリアが当該ゲート信号線の下に配置され、前記第3表示エリア及び前記第4表示エリアの上縁がいずれも当該ゲート信号線に重なる、ゲート信号線と、
トラジスタであって、前記画素電極が当該トラジスタを介して前記ゲート信号線及び前記データ信号線により制御されている、トラジスタとを含む、液晶表示画素構成。 - コモン電極線をさらに含み、
前記第1表示エリア及び前記第2表示エリアが前記ゲート信号線の上に配置され、前記第1表示エリア及び前記第2表示エリアの下縁がいずれも前記ゲート信号線に重なり、前記第3表示エリア及び前記第4表示エリアが前記コモン電極線の下に配置され、前記第3表示エリア及び前記第4表示エリアの上縁がいずれも前記コモン電極線に重なる、請求項7に記載の液晶表示画素構成。 - 液晶表示画素構成であって、
画素開口領域内に位置している画素電極であって、少なくとも4つの表示エリアを有し、当該画素電極の第1表示エリア及び第2表示エリアが左右配列され、当該画素電極の第3表示エリア及び第4表示エリアが左右配列される、画素電極と、
ゲート信号線であって、前記第1表示エリア及び前記第2表示エリアが当該ゲート信号線の上に位置され、前記第1表示エリア及び前記第2表示エリアの下縁が何れも当該ゲート信号線に重なり、前記第3表示エリア及び前記第4表示エリアが当該ゲート信号線の下に配置され、前記第3表示エリア及び前記第4表示エリアの上縁がいずれも当該ゲート信号線に重なる、ゲート信号線と、
前記画素開口領域の縁に配置されるデータ信号線と、
トラジスタであって、前記画素電極が当該トラジスタを介して前記ゲート信号線及び前記データ信号線により制御されている、トラジスタとを含む、液晶表示画素構成。 - 前記第1表示エリア、前記第2表示エリア、前記第3表示エリア及び前記第4表示エリアの液晶分子がそれぞれ前記データ信号線に対して45度、135度、225度及び315度となる方向に回転する請求項9に記載の液晶表示画素構成。
- 前記少なくとも4つの表示エリアは、電位が同一である請求項9に記載の液晶表示画素構成。
- コモン電極線をさらに含み、
前記第1表示エリア及び前記第2表示エリアが前記ゲート信号線の上に配置され、前記第1表示エリア及び前記第2表示エリアの下縁がいずれも前記ゲート信号線に重なり、前記第3表示エリア及び前記第4表示エリアが前記コモン電極線の下に配置され、前記第3表示エリア及び前記第4表示エリアの上縁がいずれも前記コモン電極線に重なる請求項9に記載の液晶表示画素構成。 - 液晶表示デバイスであって、
水平方向に延伸している複数本のゲート信号線と、垂直方向に延伸している複数本のデータ信号線とがアレイとなるように垂直に交差して、複数の画素エリアが定義されており、
画素エリアごとに、請求項9〜12の何れか1項に記載の液晶表示画素構成が含まれる、液晶表示デバイス。 - 隣接している2つ画素エリアの間の領域は、空白またはコモン電極線が配置された領域である請求項13に記載の液晶表示デバイス。
