Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a wiring material having an aluminum conductor.
。 A conductor (copper conductor) formed of copper has been used for a low-voltage electric wire or a low-voltage cable. In recent construction sites, the aging of workers has progressed, and there is a need for skillless construction sites. Therefore, the demand for wiring materials (electric wires and cables) having conductors (aluminum conductors) made of lighter aluminum than copper is increasing. Furthermore, from the viewpoint of resource scarcity and cost, a wiring material using an aluminum conductor has been used in the power field and the power distribution field (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
When using a wiring material having an insulating coating layer on the outer periphery of the conductor, the insulating coating layer at the end of the wiring material is usually peeled from the conductor (perforation processing is performed). However, a conventional wiring member provided with an insulating coating layer formed of a resin such as cross-linked polyethylene tends to damage the conductor when the blade is inserted into the insulating coating layer, and may break the conductor.
Moreover, when using an aluminum conductor, in order to suppress the raise of contact resistance, the process which grind | polishes and removes the oxide film of aluminum is normally performed after a rip-off process. However, the insulating coating layer made of crosslinked polyethylene is difficult to peel off from the conductor, and the linear body or hairy body (sometimes referred to as whiskers) of the insulating coating layer remains on the cut end face (the beard extends from the cut end face). Sometimes).
It is an object of the present invention to provide a wiring material that can remove an insulating coating layer while suppressing damage to the aluminum conductor and remaining whisker even when an aluminum conductor is used as the conductor.
In addition to the tensile elastic modulus and tensile rupture stress, the present inventors set these ratios [tensile elastic modulus / tensile rupture stress] within a specific range for the insulating coating layer provided directly on the outer periphery of the aluminum conductor. It has been found that, by setting, the peelability of the insulating coating layer is improved, and the remaining of the mustache and the damage of the aluminum conductor in the mouth-peeling process can be suppressed. Based on this finding, the present inventors have further studied and have come to make the present invention.

In the present invention, being directly provided on the outer periphery of the aluminum conductor means that the outer periphery of the aluminum conductor is in contact with the outer periphery of the aluminum conductor without interposing an adhesive layer, a primer layer, or another insulating coating layer. It means that it is provided.
The wiring material having the aluminum conductor and the innermost insulating coating layer satisfying the above characteristics (A1) to (A3) can remove the coating layer while suppressing damage to the aluminum conductor and remaining of the whiskers (coating layer). The details of the reason (excellent ease of processing (peeling processability) when peeling off) are not yet clear, but are considered as follows.
That is, the coating layer made of cross-linked polyethylene formed outside the aluminum conductor, which is a conventional configuration, is integrated with the aluminum conductor to promote the hardness of the aluminum conductor. Furthermore, the coating layer made of cross-linked polyethylene is hard and difficult to insert the blade, and further, the cross-linked polyethylene extends, so that it cannot be peeled off unless the blade is inserted to the vicinity of the conductor.
However, the wiring material of the present invention has the innermost insulation by setting the above characteristics (A1) to (A3) of the coating layer (innermost insulation coating layer) provided in direct contact with the aluminum conductor within the above ranges. When the blade is inserted into the coating layer, it is possible to cut and remove the coating layer while suppressing excessive contact of the blade with the conductor and further suppressing the remaining beard.
Furthermore, since the wiring material of the present invention uses aluminum with a small specific gravity, the wiring material provided with the copper conductor can be reduced in weight.
The preferable wiring material of the present invention also exhibits excellent flexibility as necessary in addition to the above-described effects.
Since the wiring material using an aluminum conductor has a lower conductor resistance and a lower allowable current than a wiring material using a copper conductor, it is usually increased in size (increased in diameter). As the size increases, the wiring material itself becomes harder, so that the increase in hardness associated with the increase in size is offset by thinning the aluminum wire constituting the aluminum conductor. However, these measures are not sufficient, and it is difficult for the wiring material to splash and wiring, and further improvement in flexibility is required. Furthermore, the aluminum conductor is not only lower in strength than the copper conductor, but the strength is further reduced by making the wire thinner.
However, in addition to the above characteristics (A1) to (A3), the innermost insulating coating layer satisfies the characteristic (A4) described below, while the preferred wiring material of the present invention maintains excellent mouth-opening processability, The hardness of the aluminum conductor can be effectively reduced, and high flexibility is exhibited.
Furthermore, as a preferred embodiment of the wiring material of the present invention, when the innermost insulating coating layer is formed of a layer composed of a silanol condensation cured product of a silane crosslinkable composition described later, the wiring material and the silanol condensation cured product are short-term ( For example, it is excellent in heat resistance against an instantaneous high temperature of the environmental atmosphere, hardly melts, and can also improve long-term heat resistance (eg, against a continuous or intermittent high temperature of the environmental atmosphere). Also, the diameter of the wiring material can be reduced.
Since the wiring material of the present invention exhibits excellent mouth-peeling property, the coating layer is formed as desired by an aspect in which it is a wiring material before being subjected to mouth-peeling (unsealed) and excellent mouth-peeling property. And a mode in which the wiring material is removed after being removed (mouth-peeled).

The number of aluminum strands forming the stranded wire is not particularly limited as long as it is plural (two or more).
The arrangement, twist direction, twist pitch, and the like of the aluminum strands when the aluminum strands are twisted together can be set as appropriate according to the application.

Although the outer diameter of the stranded wire and the conductor cross-sectional area are determined by the allowable current, the thinner the aluminum wire diameter per wire, the better the flexibility, but the core wire (element wire) is likely to break. In particular, when the wiring material is a cable, the insulating coating layer is preferably a multilayer insulating coating layer, and the constituent layer (outermost insulating coating layer) located on the outermost side in the multilayer insulating coating layer functions as a sheath. . In the multilayer insulating coating layer, it is preferable that the layers are directly laminated without interposing another layer such as an adhesive layer.

To do. When layers formed of different materials for forming the insulating coating layer are stacked, each layer is counted as one layer regardless of whether or not they are adjacent to each other.

Thereby, the grafting reaction site of the silane coupling agent and the site of the base resin capable of grafting reaction are caused to graft (bond) by radicals generated from the organic peroxide.
In the step (a) and the step (a-2), the temperature at which the above components are melted and kneaded is equal to or higher than the decomposition temperature of the organic peroxide, preferably the decomposition temperature of the organic peroxide + (25 to 110) ° C.
(D) Crosslinking step of silane crosslinkable composition Next, the silane crosslinkable composition coated around the aluminum conductor is brought into contact with water to crosslink. Thereby, the hydrolyzable silyl group of the silane coupling agent is hydrolyzed with water to become silanol (OH group bonded to a silicon atom), and the hydroxyl groups of the silanol are bonded to each other by the silanol condensation catalyst present in the silane crosslinkable composition. (Dehydration) condensation occurs to cause a crosslinking reaction (silanol condensation curing of the silane crosslinkable composition is formed). The method of crosslinking may be a method of leaving the silane crosslinkable composition formed by coating at room temperature, a method of leaving the silane crosslinkable composition formed by coating under humidification or warming, or a silane crosslinked composition formed by coating. The method of immersing a sex composition in warm water may be used.

The silanol condensation-cured product of the silane crosslinkable composition is a silane graft resin with respect to a silane crosslinkable composition containing a silane graft resin in which a silane coupling agent is graft-reacted with a base resin and, in a preferred embodiment, an inorganic filler. The hydrolyzable group of the bonded silane coupling agent is hydrolyzed and then crosslinked by silanol condensation. This silane graft resin contains a crosslinked resin condensed through a silanol bond (siloxane bond). In the preferable aspect in which a silane crosslinkable composition contains an inorganic filler, the inorganic filler may be couple | bonded with the silane coupling agent of silane graft resin.
Therefore, this hardened | cured material layer contains the crosslinked hardened | cured material of silane graft resin, and the inorganic filler in a preferable aspect. The crosslinked cured product of the silane graft resin has a base resin component (polyolefin resin component, ethylene rubber component, styrene elastomer component), a silane coupling agent component, and an inorganic filler component in a preferred embodiment. . The content of each component in the cured product layer varies depending on the reaction conditions, reaction rate, and the like, but is preferably within the range of the above blending amount. More specifically, in this cured product layer, the reaction sites of the silane coupling agent grafted on the silane graft resin are hydrolyzed and each other undergoes silanol condensation reaction, whereby the silane graft resins are crosslinked via the silane coupling agent. And a crosslinked resin in which the silane graft resin is bonded or adsorbed to the inorganic filler by the silane coupling agent and bonded (crosslinked) via the inorganic filler and the silane coupling agent.

From the results in Tables 2 to 5, the following can be understood.
In the aluminum conductor electric wire and the aluminum conductor cable of the comparative example, the innermost coating layer has (A1) tensile elastic modulus, (A2) tensile breaking stress and (A3) ratio [tensile elastic modulus / Any of the resins forming the innermost coating layer is a silane cross-linked resin or a non-cross-linked resin. It is impossible to remove the coating layer while suppressing the remaining.
On the other hand, since the inner conductor layer and the aluminum conductor cable of the examples both satisfy the characteristics (A1) to (A3) defined by the present invention, the resin that forms the innermost cover layer. Regardless of whether the resin is a silane cross-linked resin or a non-cross-linked resin, it is possible to remove the coating layer while suppressing damage to the aluminum conductor and remaining whiskers in the mouth peeling process. This excellent peelability can be maintained even if the outermost coating layer is provided on the outer periphery if the innermost coating layer satisfying the above characteristics is provided. Moreover, when the innermost coating layer exhibits a strain tensile stress (A4) at 50% elongation of 10 MPa or less, it exhibits high flexibility in addition to the above-described effects. Furthermore, when the outermost coating layer is formed of polyvinyl chloride and satisfies the preferable characteristics (B1) and (B2) defined in the present invention, it has high scratch resistance while maintaining excellent mouth peelability. And excellent flexibility. In particular, electric wires and cables having an innermost coating layer made of a silanol condensation cured product of a silane crosslinkable composition exhibit high heat resistance.
