Abstract
Description
The present disclosure relates to a cooling duct that passes a cooling air for cooling a battery mounted on a vehicle.
A recessed groove extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is formed on the lower surface of the rear seat of the vehicle, the intake duct is extended in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle through the recessed groove, and a plurality of partition plates are erected between the upper wall and the lower wall of the intake duct. For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2014-84044 (Patent Document 1) discloses a configuration that has been described.
The partition plate described in the above document is provided so as to extend in the vehicle longitudinal direction along the flow passage of the intake duct and to divide the internal space of the flow passage into a plurality of parts. Since the inflow path of the cooling air supplied from the vehicle compartment is restricted by the partition plate and the cooling air can not be efficiently introduced into the cooling duct, there is a possibility that the cooling efficiency of the battery may be lowered.
The present disclosure provides a cooling duct that can suppress a decrease in battery cooling efficiency.
According to the present disclosure, a cooling duct is provided through which cooling air flows for cooling a battery mounted on a vehicle. The cooling duct is disposed below a seating surface of a seat on which a vehicle occupant sits. The cooling duct has a floor surface and a ceiling surface. The cooling duct further comprises a rod-like support column in its interior. The support column extends in the vertical direction from the floor surface to the ceiling surface of the cooling duct.
According to such a configuration, since the support columns are rod-shaped, the intake of the cooling air to the cooling duct is not limited by the support columns. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the decrease in the cooling efficiency of the battery.
According to the present disclosure, it is possible to suppress the decrease in the cooling efficiency of the battery.
The
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a seat 1. The seat 1 of the embodiment is mounted on a vehicle. The vehicle may be a hybrid vehicle capable of traveling using power of at least one of a motor and an engine, or an electric vehicle traveling with a driving force obtained by electrical energy.
A seat 1 shown in FIG. 1 is for a passenger of a vehicle to be seated. The seat 1 is, for example, a rear seat disposed at the rear of the vehicle. The seat 1 includes a
The
In the embodiment, the longitudinal direction, the lateral direction, and the vertical direction mean the longitudinal direction, the lateral direction, and the vertical direction as viewed from the occupant seated on the seat 1. The Fr direction indicated by the arrow in FIG. 1 is the front-rear direction, the LH direction is the left-right direction, and the UPR direction is the up-down direction. The front-rear direction is the direction in which the vehicle travels straight. The left and right direction is the width direction of the vehicle.
The
The battery cooled by the cooling air passing through the
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the
A
The
FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the
The
As shown in FIG. 3, the plurality of
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the cooling
As described above, the
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the
A
The cooling
The
Since the internal structure of the cooling
Since the
Instead of forming the
