Abstract
Description
(1) 可撓性を有し、一方向に湾曲した湾曲状態で用いられる光学シートであって、
入射する光を偏光する偏光層と、
前記偏光層よりも湾曲凹側に設けられ、樹脂材料と、波長が350nm以上740nm以下の光のうち、特定の範囲の波長の光を吸収する光吸収剤と、を含む特定波長吸収層と、を備えることを特徴とする光学シート。
前記基材に積層され、上記(1)ないし(8)のいずれかに記載の光学シートと、を備えることを特徴とする光学部材。
図1は、本発明の光学シート(第1実施形態)を備えるサングラスの斜視図である。図2は、本発明の光学シート(第1実施形態)を備えるサンバイザーの斜視図である。図5は、図1に示す光学部品の断面図である。
樹脂材料としては、例えば、ポリカーボネートやポリアミド等が挙げられる。
(ポリカーボネート)
ポリカーボネートとしては、特に限定されず、各種のものを用いることができるが、中でも、芳香族系ポリカーボネートであることが好ましい。芳香族系ポリカーボネートは、その主鎖に芳香族環を備えており、これにより、光学シート1の強度をより優れたものとすることができる。
光吸収剤は、特定の波長の光を吸収するものである。本明細書中では、「光を吸収する」とは、可視光領域が420nm〜780nmの最大吸収波長の値をλ1とし、λ1より20nm低波長側の値をλ2、20nm高波長側の値をλ3とした場合、吸光度λ1/λ2あるいは吸光度λ1/λ3が、1.0以上であることを言う。
紫外線吸収剤は、紫外線(波長域が100nm以上420nm以下の光)を吸収するものである。
偏光層12は、入射光(偏光していない自然光)から、所定の一方向に偏光面をもつ直線偏光を取出す機能を有している。これにより、光学シート1を介して目に入射する入射光は、偏光されたものとなる。
接着剤層13を構成する接着剤(または粘着剤)としては、特に限定されず、例えば、アクリル系接着剤、ウレタン系接着剤、エポキシ系接着剤、シリコーン系接着剤等が挙げられる。
まず、本製造方法に用いる光学シート製造装置について説明する。
まず、帯状をなす溶融状態または軟化状態のシート1’を押し出す(押出工程)。この押出工程では、押出機210に、光学シート1の構成材料(ポリカーボネート、光吸収剤および紫外線吸収剤等)が装填される。また、光学シート1の構成材料は、押出機210内において、溶融または軟化した状態となっており、ポリカーボネート、光吸収剤および紫外線吸収剤が十分に混合された状態となる。そして、この十分に混合された状態でこれらを押し出すことにより、後述する成形工程および冷却工程を経て得られる光学シート1では、光吸収剤および紫外線吸収剤等が過剰に凝集してしまうのを防止することができる。
以上の工程を経て、特定波長吸収層11を得ることができる。
(光学部品の製造方法)
まず、本製造方法に用いる光学部品製造装置について説明する。
まず、上部材630と下部材640とを分解した状態において、下部材640の底面641に光学シート1を配置する(光学シート配置工程)。なお、底面641は、湾曲凹面となっており、これにより、レンズ4に湾曲面を形成することができる。また、光学シート1は、可撓性を有しているため、底面641の形状に倣って配置される。
1.光学シートの検討
1−1.光学シートの作成
[1]まず、100質量部のビスフェノールA型ポリカーボネート(三菱瓦斯化学社製、「ユーピロン E2000F E5111」)と、0.04質量部の光吸収剤(山田化学工業社製、「FDG−005」)、0.4質量部の紫外線吸収剤(アデカ社製、「アデカスタブLA−31G」)を撹拌・混合することにより、特定波長吸収層形成材料を用意した。
光学シートの構成を表1に示すように変更したこと以外は、前記実施例1と同様にして実施例2の光学性層を得た。

光学シートの構成を表1に示すように変更したこと以外は、前記実施例1と同様にして実施例4の光学性層を得た。
光学シートの構成を表1に示すように変更したこと以外は、前記実施例1と同様にして実施例5の光学性層を得た。
光学シートの構成を表1に示すように変更したこと以外は、前記実施例1と同様にして実施例6の光学性層を得た。
光学シートの構成を表1に示すように変更したこと以外は、前記実施例1と同様にして実施例7の光学性層を得た。
各実施例および各比較例の光学シートを、以下の方法で評価した。
デジタルマイクロスコープ(キーエンス社製、「VHX−1000」)を用いて、観察を行い、凝集物の大きさを測定し、次のように評価した。
B:凝集物の大きさが0.05mm2以上0.1mm2未満。
C:凝集物の大きさが0.1mm2以上0.5mm2未満。
D:凝集物の大きさが0.5mm2未満。
ISO 179−1、ISO179−2に準拠して、シャルピー衝撃強さを測定し、次のように評価した。
B:50KJ/m2以上80KJ/m2未満。
C:25KJ/m2以上50KJ/m2未満。
D:25KJ/m2未満。
キセノンランプ(7.5kw、出力:1.728MJ/m2)(光源のフィルタ:デイライトフィルタ、放射照度:広帯域(300〜400nm)、60±2W/m2)を8時間照射し、黄変度(ΔYI)を次のように評価した。
B:ΔYIが1.0以上2.0未満で外観変化が少し見られる。
C:ΔYIが2.0以上3.0未満で外観変化が見られる。
D:ΔYIが3.0以上で外観変化が著しく見られる。

前記基材に積層され、上記(1)ないし(7)のいずれかに記載の光学シートと、を備えることを特徴とする光学部品。
Claims (8)
- 可撓性を有し、一方向に湾曲した湾曲状態で用いられる光学シートであって、
入射する光を偏光する偏光層と、
前記偏光層よりも湾曲凹側に設けられ、樹脂材料と、波長が350nm以上740nm以下の光のうち、特定の範囲の波長の光を吸収する光吸収剤と、を含む特定波長吸収層と、を備えることを特徴とする光学シート。 - 前記樹脂材料は、粘度平均分子量Mvが20000以上30000以下のポリカーボネートである請求項1に記載の光学シート。
- 前記ポリカーボネートは、JIS K7210に準拠して測定されるメルトフローレートが3g/10min以上30g/10min以下のものである請求項2に記載の光学シート。
- 前記ポリカーボネートは、吸水率が0.02%以上0.2%以下のものである請求項2または3に記載の光学シート。
- 前記ポリカーボネートの融点をT1とし、前記光吸収剤の融点をT2としたとき、T1<T2を満足する請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の光学シート。
- 前記特定波長吸収層は、延伸度が10%以下のものである請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の光学シート。
- 前記特定波長吸収層は、100nm以上420nm以下の波長域の光を吸収する紫外線吸収剤をさらに含む請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の光学シート。
- 基材と、
前記基材に積層され、請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の光学シートと、を備えることを特徴とする光学部材。
