Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle door lock device provided on a vehicle door.
A vehicle generally includes a vehicle body and a vehicle door that opens and closes a door opening formed on a side surface of the vehicle body. A striker projects from the vehicle body, and a door lock device is provided at the vehicle door.
The door lock device includes a base member. The base member is fixed to the vehicle door.
Further, a latch, a pole, and an outside open lever are rotatably supported on the base member.
The latch is supported by the base member so as to be rotatable between a latch position engageable with the striker and an unlatched position not engaged with the striker. Further, the latch is urged to rotate toward the unlatch position by the urging force of the first urging means.
The pole is supported by the base member so as to be rotatable between an engagement position and a non-engagement position. Further, the pole is rotationally biased toward the engagement position by the biasing force of the second biasing means.
If the pawl is located in the engaged position when the latch located in the latch position engages the striker, the latch and the pole are held in a latched state where the latch engages the striker. On the other hand, when the pawl moves to the non-engagement position, the pawl is disengaged from the latch, so that the latch and the pawl are in an unlatched state in which the latch rotates toward the unlatching position and releases the striker.
Further, a lift lever is fixed to the pole.
Therefore, the lift lever rotates between the engaged position and the non-engaged position together with the pole.
The outside open lever is supported by the base member so as to be rotatable between an initial position and a latch release position. The outside open lever rotates between an initial position and a latch release position in conjunction with a rotation operation of a handle provided on the vehicle door.
Further, an open link is supported by the outside open lever so as to be rotatable between a latch release enabled position and a latch release disabled position. Furthermore, a biasing means for biasing the open link in one direction is provided between the outside open lever and the open link.
This open link is interlocked with a lock knob provided on the vehicle door. That is, when the lock knob is located at the lock position, the open link is located at the unlatching position, and when the lock knob is located at the unlock position, the open link is located at the unlatching position.
When the open link is positioned at the unlatching position because the lock knob is positioned at the lock position, the open link does not engage with the lift lever regardless of the position of the handle. Therefore, in this case, the positions of the lift lever and the pole do not change. Therefore, when the vehicle door closes the door opening of the vehicle body, the latch and the pole maintain the latched state.
On the other hand, if the open link is located at the unlockable position due to the lock knob being located at the unlock position, the outside link lever is moved to the latch release position by rotating the handle from the initial position. Engages with the lift lever and presses the lift lever. As a result, the lift lever and the pawl move to the non-engagement position, and the pawl releases the engagement with the latch, so that the latch that is urged to rotate toward the unlatching position releases the striker. That is, the latch and the pole are in an unlatched state.
Further, the lift lever is provided with a canceling projection (pushing leg).
When the open link is located at the unlatching position and the vehicle door that was in the open position that opens the door opening rotates to the closed position that closes the door opening, the latch engaged with the striker rotates to the latching position. And a pole rotates to an engagement position. At this time, a predetermined force (hereinafter referred to as a closing pressure) is transmitted from the striker to the latch. Then, the pole (and lift lever) is temporarily rotated to the non-engagement position side by the closing pressing force transmitted from the latch to the pole.
Therefore, the cancellation protrusion of the lift lever rotated to the non-engagement position collides with the open link located at the unlatching position and rotates the open link to the unlatching position. Therefore, when the outside open lever is moved to the latch release position by rotating the handle thereafter, the latch and the pawl are switched from the latched state to the unlatched state.
The lift lever and the pole that have been temporarily rotated to the non-engagement position side return to the engagement position by the urging force of the second urging means.
Furthermore, when the outside open lever is located at the initial position and the lock knob is located at the unlock position (when the open link is located at the unlatching position), a vehicle different from the vehicle equipped with this vehicle door The vehicle door may collide (side impact).
However, at this time, the open link tends to stay at the original position (position before the collision) due to its inertial force (inertial mass). On the other hand, the outside open lever located at the initial position may move to the latch release position by the impact force at this time. In this case, since the open link rotates relative to the outside open lever, the open link moves to a position where latch release is impossible.
Therefore, even if the outside open lever moves to the latch release position, the latch and the pole do not unexpectedly switch from the latched state to the unlatched state.
(Problems to be solved by the invention)
As described above, when a side collision occurs when the lock knob of the vehicle door provided with the door lock device is located at the unlock position, the open link rotates from the latch release enabled position to the latch release disabled position. At this time, the open link approaches the lift lever.
Therefore, at this time, the cancellation protrusion of the lift lever may collide with the open link that has been rotated to the unlatched position. When such a collision occurs, the open link is unexpectedly rotated and returned to the latchable position.
Therefore, when the outside open lever moves to the latch release position due to a side collision, the latch and the pole are unexpectedly switched from the latched state to the unlatched state.
The present invention provides a vehicle door lock device capable of preventing the open link from rotating unexpectedly to the unlatched position when the open link is rotated to the unlatched position by the impact force generated on the vehicle door. The purpose is to do.

(Means for solving the problem)
The present invention includes a latch position that holds a vehicle door in a closed state by engaging with a striker attached to a vehicle body, and a latch that is rotatable to an unlatched position that does not engage with the striker.
A pawl rotatable to an engagement position for engaging the latch to hold the latch in the latch position and a non-engagement position for disengaging the latch;
An open lever that rotates between a first position and a second position in conjunction with an operation on an operation portion provided on the vehicle door;
The latch release impossible position that does not press the pawl regardless of the position of the open lever, and the pawl that is located at the engagement position when the open lever moves from the first position to the second position. An open link supported by the open lever so as to be capable of relative rotation between the unlatched position that presses to the mating position, and
With
The pole
When the vehicle door that was in an open state with the open link in the unlatched position is in the closed state, the open link in the unlatched position is pressed to release the latch. A canceling protrusion that rotates to a position is formed,
The open link includes
When the vehicle door is in the closed state and the open link rotates to the unlatching position, the open link rotates to the unlatching position by engaging with the cancellation protrusion. It is preferable that a rotation return restricting protrusion for restricting is formed.
In the present invention, the vehicle door that was in an open state in a state where the open link is located at a position where latch release is impossible may be in a closed state. Then, the pole rotates to the non-engagement position side by the force transmitted from the striker through the latch. Then, the canceling projection of the pole presses the open link located at the position where latch release is impossible, and rotates the open link to the position where latch release is possible.
Further, for example, an impact force may be generated on the vehicle door when a vehicle different from the vehicle on which the vehicle door is mounted collides (side collision) with the vehicle door. Due to this impact force, for example, the open link that was located at the latch release enabled position before the collision may rotate to the latch release disabled position side.
At this time, the canceling projection of the pole may collide with the open link. When such a collision occurs, a rotational force may be applied to the open link toward the unlatched position.
However, in this case, the rotation return restricting protrusion of the open link is engaged with the cancel protrusion, thereby restricting the open link from rotating to the latch releaseable position.
Therefore, even if the open lever moves from the first position to the second position due to the impact force, the pole does not rotate to the non-engagement position. That is, the latch and the pole are not unexpectedly switched from the latched state to the unlatched state.
The position of the open link when the rotation return restricting protrusion of the open link is engaged with the cancel protrusion may be a position closer to the unlatching position than the unlatching position.
When the present invention is configured as described above, the position of the open link when the rotation return restricting projection of the open link engages with the canceling projection is a position closer to the unlatching position than the unlatching possible position.
Therefore, even if the open lever moves from the first position to the second position due to the impact force in this state, the pole does not rotate to the non-engagement position.
The open link has a pressed surface that is pressed by the cancellation protrusion,
The rotation return restricting projection may be positioned on the rotation direction side of the open link from the latch release possible position to the latch release impossible position with respect to the pressed surface.
In the case where the present invention is configured in this way, when the force is transmitted from the striker to the pole via the latch by closing the vehicle door, the probability that the protrusion for canceling the pole and the rotation return restricting protrusion for the open link do not face each other Becomes higher. In other words, the probability that the canceling projection of the pole and the pressed surface of the open link face each other increases.
Therefore, when a force is transmitted from the striker to the pole via the latch, the probability that the cancel protrusion of the pole rotates the open link located at the unlatching position to the unlatching position is increased.

Furthermore, the
This active lever is a lever that can be engaged with and disengaged from the
The active lever and the
Next, the operation of the
When the
When the
Therefore, for example, when the
On the other hand, when the
When the
By the way, when the
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 10, the
The
Further, when the
However, when the value of the impact force at this time is smaller than the predetermined value, the
On the other hand, the outside
Therefore, the
Therefore, even if the outside
Further, when the
However, in this case, as shown in FIG. 12, the rotation
Therefore, even if the outside
When an impact force due to a side collision occurs on the
Therefore, in this case as well, the
Further, the rotation
On the other hand, FIG. 13 is a comparative example in which a rotation
As mentioned above, although one Embodiment of this invention was described, this invention should not be limited to the said embodiment.
For example, you may implement this invention in the aspect of the modification shown in FIG.14 and FIG.15.
The
In this modification, when the closing door pressing force is transmitted from the

Further, the present invention may be applied to a vehicle door (for example, a back door) different from the side door.
