Abstract
Description
本発明の光学ユニットは、種々の車両用灯具に用いることができる。はじめに、第1の実施の形態に係る光学ユニットを搭載可能な車両用前照灯の概略について説明する。
図1は、車両用前照灯の水平断面図である。図2は、本実施の形態に係る光学ユニットの構成を模式的に示した上面図である。図3は、本実施の形態に係る光学ユニットの側面図である。
図7は、第2の実施の形態に係る車両用前照灯の水平断面図である。図8は、第2の実施の形態に係る車両用前照灯の正面図である。なお、図8においては、一部の部品を省略してある。
Claims (5)
- 複数の発光素子を有する光源と、
前記光源から出射した光を反射しながら回転軸を中心に回転する回転リフレクタと、を備え、
前記回転リフレクタは、回転しながら反射した光源の光を走査することで配光パターンを形成するように反射面が設けられており、
前記光源は、複数の発光素子のうち第1の発光素子および第2の発光素子の駆動電流の大きさを制御する制御部を更に有し、
前記制御部は、
(a)前記第1の発光素子が発する光で照射される第1の照射範囲と前記第2の発光素子が発する光で照射される第2の照射範囲とが重複する第1の配光パターンを形成する場合に、該第1の発光素子および該第2の発光素子の駆動電流の大きさを制御し、
(b)前記第1の照射範囲と前記第2の照射範囲とが重複する第2の配光パターンであって、該第1の照射範囲の最大光度が前記第1の配光パターンのときよりも高い第2の配光パターンを形成する場合に、前記第2の発光素子の駆動電流の大きさが前記第1の配光パターンを形成する場合よりも小さくなるように、および/または、前記第2の発光素子に駆動電流を流す時間が前記第1の配光パターンを形成する場合よりも短くなるようにする、
ことを特徴とする光学ユニット。 - 前記制御部は、前記第2の配光パターンを形成する場合に、前記第1の発光素子の駆動電流の大きさを前記第1の配光パターンを形成する場合よりも大きくすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学ユニット。
- 前記制御部は、前記第2の配光パターンを形成する場合に、前記第1の発光素子に駆動電流を流す時間を前記第1の配光パターンを形成する場合よりも短くすることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光学ユニット。
- 前記第1の発光素子は、前記第1の照射範囲に前記第1の配光パターンの最も明るい領域が含まれるように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の光学ユニット。
- 発光素子を有する光源と、
前記光源から出射した光を反射しながら回転軸を中心に回転する回転リフレクタと、を備え、
前記回転リフレクタは、回転しながら反射した光源の光を走査することで配光パターンを形成するように反射面が設けられており、
前記光源は、発光素子の駆動電流の大きさを制御する制御部を更に有し、
前記制御部は、
(a)前記発光素子が発する光で照射される照射範囲を含む第1の配光パターンを形成する場合に、該発光素子の駆動電流の大きさを制御し、
(b)前記照射範囲の最大光度が前記第1の配光パターンのときよりも高い第2の配光パターンを形成する場合に、前記発光素子の駆動電流の大きさが前記第1の配光パターンを形成する場合よりも大きくなるように、かつ、前記発光素子に駆動電流を流す時間が前記第1の配光パターンを形成する場合よりも短くなるようにする、
ことを特徴とする光学ユニット。
