Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 散布ノズルアセンブリであって、
選択的に制御可能な圧縮液体供給部に結合する為の上流端部および下流端部を有する中央液体流路を画成するノズル本体と、
前記ノズル本体の通路と流体連通して配置されるオリフィス部材と、
を備え、
前記オリフィスは、中央液体流路を有し、前記オリフィス部材の流路は、下流方向に内側にテーパが付けられた円錐通路部を含み、前記オリフィス部材を通って誘導される液体流を加速させる為に比較的小径の放出オリフィスと連通し、
前記オリフィス部材は、弾性かつ圧力応答性の変形可能な材料で形成され、前記液体供給部の圧力増加の際に前記液体流路および放出オリフィスは、前記オリフィス部材およびノズル本体を通る割合を少なくとも75パーセントだけ増加させるように変更可能であり、
前記オリフィス部材への圧縮液体の供給中断の際に前記オリフィス部材の液体流路および放出オリフィスは、それらの当初の形状に戻る、散布ノズルアセンブリ。 - 前記オリフィス部材は、上流円筒端部と、前記円筒端部の下流側から突出する小径ハブを含み、前記円筒通路部は、前記オリフィス部材の下流の前記小径ハブおよび前記円筒端部の両方を通り、少なくとも一部で連通する、請求項1に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記オリフィス部材の通路は、前記円錐通路部の上流端部と連通し前記円錐通路部の上流端部より大径を有する上流円筒通路部を前記円筒端部内に含む、請求項2に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記オリフィス部材の前記円錐通路部は、20および40度の円錐角度で形成される、請求項1に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記オリフィス部材は、エチレンポリプロピレンゴム、フルオロカーボンゴム、または、それらの組合せから形成される、請求項1に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記下流ハブは、内側にテーパが付けられた円錐台状の端部を有する、請求項2に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記ハブの前記テーパが付けられた円錐台状の端部は、前記円筒部から前記ハブの軸方向の長さの2分の1未満の軸方向の長さを有する、請求項6に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記オリフィス部材は、前記オリフィス部材に対して前記供給液体の前記圧力の制御された3倍化に応じて、前記オリフィス部材を通る前記液体流および前記オリフィス部材から放出する前記液体流が少なくとも75%だけ増加されるように変形可能な材料で形成される、請求項1に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記オリフィス部材は、20から60psiの圧力から、前記液体供給部の圧力を制御して増加する際に、前記オリフィス部材および散布ノズルアセンブリを通る前記液体流が少なくとも75%だけ増加されるように変形可能な材料で形成される、請求項1に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記オリフィス部材は、前記オリフィス部材に対して圧縮された液体供給部において20psiから60psiまでの制御された増加の際、前記オリフィス部材を通る液体流が少なくとも130%だけ増加されるように弾性材料で形成される、請求項1に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記オリフィス部材の前記放出オリフィスに下流で対向する関係で離間されて配置された衝突要素を含み、前記オリフィス部材からの圧縮された液体流ストリームが前記衝突要素に誘導され、前記液体の噴霧化が容易にされる、請求項1に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記衝突要素は、前記オリフィス部材の下流側付近の上流環状装着プレートから延びる脚部によって前記オリフィス部材の前記放出オリフィスに対して反対側に支持された中央装着プレートである、請求項11に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記ノズル液体の流路は、前記衝突要素の下流に膨張チャンバを画成し、前記衝突要素は、前記膨張チャンバの直径より大きな軸方向の長さを有する、請求項11に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 前記ノズル本体は、環状装着ステムによって前記液体供給部と連通して支持され、前記装着ステムは、下流環状ビードを有し、前記オリフィス部材の上流円筒端部は、前記ステムおよび前記ノズル本体の間に密封ガスケットを形成する、請求項2に記載の散布ノズルアセンブリ。
- 農業用散布器であって、
選択的に制御可能な圧縮された液体供給部に接続される液体供給導管を有する細長い散布ブームと、
前記液体供給部から圧縮液体を受ける為に前記供給導管に接続される複数の散布ノズルアセンブリであって、前記散布ノズルアセンブリは、各々がノズル本体を有し、前記ノズル本体は、中央液体流路を画成し、前記液体流路は、上流端部を有し、前記上流端部は、前記圧縮液体供給部および下流端部と連通する上流端部を有する、前記散布ノズルアセンブリと、
前記ノズル本体の通路と流体連通して配置されるオリフィス部材であって、前記オリフィス部材は、中央液体流路を有し、前記オリフィス部材は、前記オリフィス部材を通って誘導される液体流を加速させる為に、比較的に小径の放出オリフィスと連通する、下流方向で内側にテーパが付けられた円錐通路セクションを含み、前記オリフィス部材は、柔軟かつ圧力応答性の変形可能な材料で形成され、前記液体供給部の圧力増加の際、前記液体流路および放出オリフィスは、少なくとも75%だけ前記オリフィス部材およびノズル本体を通る割合を増加させるように変更可能であり、前記オリフィス部材への圧縮液体の供給中断の際に前記オリフィス部材の液体流路および放出オリフィスは、それらの当初の形状に戻る、前記オリフィス部材と、

- 各ノズルアセンブリは、前記オリフィス部材の前記放出オリフィスに下流で対向する関係で離間されて配置された衝突要素を含み、前記オリフィス部材からの圧縮された液体流ストリームが前記衝突要素に誘導され、前記液体の噴霧化が容易にされる、請求項15に記載の農業用散布器。
- 放出散布を誘導する為に下流散布先端部および各散布ノズルアセンブリの間を連通する、それぞれの液体導管と、散布先端部およびその放出散布に隣接した関係で農業用種を分布させる為にドロップシュートとを含む、請求項15に記載の農業用散布器。
- 前記ノズル本体は、カミングおよびロッキング要素を有する急速継手によって前記液体供給部に接続され、前記導管は、協働するカミング及びロッキング要素及び溝を有する急速継手によって前記散布ノズルアセンブリに接続される、請求項19に記載の農業用散布器。
