Claims (11)
- ワークを保持するワーク保持装置と、
前記ワーク保持装置で保持されたワークに対して加工を施す加工ヘッドと、
前記加工に伴い加工点の周辺に出現する廃棄物または指向性エネルギーである特殊不要物の漏出を防止する不要物漏出防止装置と、
を備え、
前記不要物漏出防止装置は、
前記加工ヘッドとは分離して設けられ、前記特殊不要物を受け取るカバーであって、三方向が開口される一方で他の三方向を覆うことで前記ワークの一部を収容する保護空間を構成するカバーと、
非加工中には前記カバーを前記ワークから離間させ、前記加工中に前記保護空間内に前記ワークの一部が収容されるように前記カバーを移動させる移動機構と、
を備えることを特徴とする工作機械。 - 請求項1に記載の工作機械であって、
前記移動機構は、前記ワークの駆動源、前記加工ヘッドの駆動源とは別の駆動源を有し、前記ワークの加工中、前記加工ヘッドの移動に連動して、前記カバーを移動させる、ことを特徴とする工作機械。 - 請求項1または2に記載の工作機械であって、
前記ワーク保持装置は、前記ワークの軸方向一端または軸方向両端を保持しており、
前記加工ヘッドは、前記ワークの略径方向から前記ワークにアクセスし、
前記移動機構は、前記カバーを、前記ワークを挟んで前記加工ヘッドに略対向する位置に配するべく、前記カバーを前記ワークの略径方向から前記ワークに接近させる、
ことを特徴とする工作機械。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の工作機械であって、
前記カバーは、断面略U字、略V字、略コ字状である、ことを特徴とする工作機械。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の工作機械であって、
前記不要物漏出防止装置は、前記カバーに取り付けられるとともに、前記保護空間内に前記ワークの一部が収容された際、前記ワークの一部に密着する弾性体を有する、ことを特徴とする工作機械。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の工作機械であって、
前記特殊不要物は、前記加工時に前記ワークから除去される加工屑、および、前記加工のために前記ワークの周辺に供給される液体または粉粒体である加工補助物質の少なくとも一方を含む、ことを特徴とする工作機械。 - 請求項6に記載の工作機械であって、
前記不要物漏出防止装置は、さらに、前記カバーと前記ワークとの隙間または前記カバーと前記加工ヘッドとの隙間から前記保護空間内に向かって流体を噴射することで、前記隙間からの前記特殊不要物の漏出を阻害する噴射機構を備える、ことを特徴とする工作機械。 - 請求項6または7に記載の工作機械であって、
前記特殊不要物は、液体または液体に混入した粉粒体であり、
前記不要物漏出防止装置は、さらに、前記カバーで受け取った液体を回収する液体回収機構を備える、ことを特徴とする工作機械。 - 請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の工作機械であって、
前記工作機械は、ワークを旋削する旋盤に、前記ワークを研磨または研削するための加工ヘッドが組み込まれた複合加工機であり、
前記加工ヘッドは、前記ワークを研磨する研磨用工具を保持する研磨ヘッド、または、研削する砥石を保持する研削ヘッドであり、
前記特殊不要物は、前記研磨のために供給される研磨剤または前記砥石から脱落する砥粒である、
ことを特徴とする工作機械。 - 請求項9に記載の工作機械であって、
前記移動機構は、ワーク主軸に対して平行なZ軸、Z軸に直交するX軸、Z軸およびX軸に直交するY軸方向への直進移動と、X軸、Y軸、Z軸の少なくとも一つと平行な軸回りの回転移動と、を含む少なくとも4自由度で前記カバーを移動させる、ことを特徴とする工作機械。 - 請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載の工作機械であって、
前記移動機構は、加工室内に設置された多関節ロボットである、ことを特徴とする工作機械。
