Description

The present invention relates to an electrostatic spray nozzle and an electrostatic spray device for spraying a charged liquid.

Conventionally, an electrostatic spray nozzle is used to spray a charged liquid agricultural chemical (liquid) on a field (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The electrostatic spray nozzle described in Patent Document 1 includes a nozzle body and an electrode. The nozzle body sprays pesticides. The electrode is cylindrical (annular) and surrounds the pesticide sprayed from the nozzle body. When a high voltage is applied to the electrode, the pesticide sprayed from the nozzle body is charged with a polarity opposite to the polarity of the voltage applied to the electrode. The charged pesticide adheres uniformly to the crops planted in the field due to the electrostatic effect.

The electrostatic spray nozzle described in Patent Document 1 further includes a cover having insulating properties and waterproof properties.
The cover according to the first aspect includes each cylindrical cover body and a tip cap. The cover body is attached to the nozzle body so as to surround the nozzle body. An insertion hole is provided in the cover body. When the front end cap is fitted on the cover body, a storage chamber communicating with one end of the insertion hole is formed between the cover main body and the front end cap. The accommodation chamber accommodates an electrode connected to the electric wire inserted into the insertion hole. In order to seal the storage chamber, an O-ring is disposed between the cover main body and the tip cap, and a water stop plug through which the electric wire passes is fitted into the other end of the insertion hole. As a result, the electrode is insulated and waterproof.

The cover according to the second aspect has a cylindrical shape and is attached to the nozzle body so as to surround the nozzle body. The part connected to the electrode and the electrode of the electric wire is embedded in the cover by molding. As a result, the electrode is insulated and waterproof.

In the case of the first aspect, since the nozzle body, the electrode, the cover body, the tip cap, the electric wire, the O-ring, and the water stop plug are separated, when any of these deteriorates, if the electrostatic spray nozzle is disassembled, Deteriorated parts can be replaced individually.
However, when the disassembled electrostatic spray nozzle is reassembled, there is a risk that the insulation and waterproofing of the electrode will be incomplete due to forgetting to install the O-ring. However, since the O-ring is covered with the cover body and the tip cap, it is difficult to notice that the O-ring is forgotten to be attached. In addition, when the deteriorated O-ring is replaced with an O-ring that does not have a predetermined insulating property and waterproof property, there is a possibility that problems such as leakage or insufficient electrostatic effect may occur.

On the other hand, in the case of the 2nd mode, an electrode, a cover, and an electric wire are integrated. Therefore, even when any one of these deteriorates, it is necessary to replace all of the electrodes, the cover, and the electric wires, so there are many parts that are replaced in vain.

The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and a main object of the present invention is to provide an electrostatic spraying device that can prevent the occurrence of problems associated with the replacement of parts and reduce the number of parts that are wasted.
In the present embodiment, the electrode is embedded in the waterproof member. That is, the electrode and the waterproof member are integrated. The electrode is insulated from the outside and waterproofed by the waterproof member.
When assembling the electrostatic spray nozzle, the electrode and the waterproof member are attached simultaneously. Therefore, there is no possibility of forgetting to attach only one of the electrode and the waterproof member. When the electrode and the waterproof member are not attached, the electrostatic effect cannot be obtained. Therefore, it is possible to easily notice that the electrodes and the waterproof part are forgotten to be attached. Further, the waterproof member cannot be replaced with another waterproof member. Therefore, there is no possibility that the deteriorated waterproof member is replaced with a waterproof member having no predetermined property.
As a result of the above, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of problems associated with component replacement.

The nozzle body, the integrated electrode and waterproof member, and the holding member are separate from each other. In the case of the electrostatic spraying device provided with the electrostatic spraying nozzle according to the present embodiment, the electrode connection terminal and the electric wire are connected outside the waterproof member. Therefore, replacement of the nozzle body, replacement of the integrated electrode and waterproof member, replacement of the holding member, and replacement of the electric wire can be performed individually. Therefore, it is possible to reduce parts that are replaced in vain.

In the present embodiment, an integrated electrode and a waterproof member can be easily obtained by insert molding.

In this embodiment, since the middle of the electrode in the axial direction is bent, the strength of the electrode can be improved.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23 provided in the electrostatic spray nozzle 2.
The electrode 22 shown in FIG.3 and FIG.4 has electroconductivity, for example, is metal. The electrode 22 includes an annular portion 221 and two connection terminals 222 and 222.
The annular portion 221 is bent halfway in the axial direction. Specifically, the annular portion 221 has an annular shape having an L-shaped cross section. More specifically, the cross section of the annular portion 221 has a shape in which a rectangle that is long in the axial length direction and short in the radial direction is bent outward at 90 ° in the middle of the axial length direction.
Each connection terminal 222 protrudes from the outermost peripheral portion of the annular portion 221 in the axial length direction. The connection terminal 222 has a rectangular piece shape and is elongated in the protruding direction. The protruding directions of the connection terminals 222 and 222 are the same as each other. The connection terminals 222 and 222 are separated from each other by 180 ° in the circumferential direction of the annular portion 221.

The waterproof member 23 shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 has insulating properties and waterproof properties, and is made of, for example, synthetic rubber or synthetic resin. The waterproof member 23 includes an annular portion 231 and sealing plugs 232 and 232.
The annular portion 231 has an annular shape. An annular portion 221 of the electrode 22 is coaxially embedded in the annular portion 231. The inner diameter of the annular portion 231 is larger than the outer diameter of the nozzle body 21.

Each sealing plug 232 has a cylindrical shape. The sealing plug 232 protrudes from the annular portion 231 in the axial length direction. On the peripheral surface of the sealing plug 232, a plurality of ridges each having appropriate elasticity are arranged in parallel in the axial length direction. The protruding directions of the sealing plugs 232 and 232 are the same as each other. The connection terminals 222 and 222 of the electrode 22 project from the sealing plugs 232 and 232 through the shaft centers of the sealing plugs 232 and 232. That is, the front ends of the connection terminals 222 and 222 are exposed to the outside of the waterproof member 23.
The portion embedded in the waterproof member 23 of the electrode 22 is insulated and waterproof.

The electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23 are integrated by insert molding. The electrode 22 is inserted into the mold of the waterproof member 23, and then synthetic rubber or synthetic resin is injected into the mold, whereby the integrated electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23 can be easily obtained. Since the electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23 are integrated, for example, a human cannot pick up the connection terminal 222 of the electrode 22 and remove the electrode 22 from the waterproof member 23.

Here, the reason why the annular portion 231 of the electrode 22 is bent will be described. By bending the annular portion 231, the strength of the electrode 22 can be improved. Therefore, when insert molding is performed, deformation of the annular portion 231 or displacement of the arrangement position of the annular portion 231 due to the pressure of the synthetic rubber or synthetic resin injected into the mold is suppressed.

The holding member 24 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 has an insulating property and a waterproof property, and is made of, for example, a synthetic resin. The holding member 24 includes a cylindrical portion 241 and storage portions 242 and 242.
The cylindrical part 241 has a cylindrical shape. The inner diameter of the cylindrical portion 241 is approximately the same as the inner diameter of the annular portion 231 of the waterproof member 23.

The accommodating portions 242 and 242 are separated from each other by 180 ° in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical portion 241. Each accommodating portion 242 has a cylindrical shape. The inner diameter of the housing portion 242 is approximately the same as the outer diameter of the sealing plug 232 of the waterproof member 23. The axial length direction of the accommodating portion 242 is along the axial length direction of the cylindrical portion 241. The housing portion 242 is integrally provided on the outer peripheral surface of the tubular portion 241 such that one end portion in the axial length direction of the housing portion 242 coincides with one end portion in the axial length direction of the tubular portion 241. The other end portion in the axial length direction of the housing portion 242 protrudes from the other end portion in the axial length direction of the cylindrical portion 241. Hereinafter, the side from which the holding portions 242, 242 in the axial length direction of the holding member 24 protrude is referred to as a base end side, and the opposite side of the base end side in the axial length direction of the holding member 24 is referred to as a front end direction. As will be described later, when the holding member 24 is attached to the nozzle body 21, the proximal end side is the upstream side in the spraying direction, and the distal end side is the downstream side in the spraying direction.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the electrostatic spraying device 1 further includes an electric wire 5. The electric wire 5 is a covered electric wire and includes a conductive wire 51 and a covering portion 52. A connection terminal 511 is provided at one end of the conducting wire 51. The covering portion 52 has an insulating property and a waterproof property, and covers the conductive wire 51. However, the covering portion 52 does not cover the connection terminal 511.
The connection terminal 511 of the electric wire 5 is inserted into the housing portions 242 and 242 through the openings on the base end sides of the housing portions 242 and 242 and connected to one of the connection terminals 222 and 222. In order to securely and detachably connect the connection terminals 222 and 511 to each other, for example, it is desirable to provide a pinching portion that detachably holds the connection terminal 222 on the connection terminal 511.

The waterproof member 23 is held by the holding member 24 when the sealing plugs 232 and 232 of the waterproof member 23 are fitted into the openings on the distal ends of the accommodating portions 242 and 242 of the holding member 24. The sealing plug 232 liquid-tightly seals the opening on the distal end side of the housing portion 242. The connection terminals 222, 222 protruding from the sealing plugs 232, 232 are accommodated in the accommodating portions 242, 242 by being inserted into the accommodating portions 242, 242 through the openings on the distal ends of the accommodating portions 242, 242. The The connection terminal 511 of the electric wire 5 connected to the connection terminal 222 is also accommodated in the accommodating portion 242.

That is, the connection terminals 222 and 511 are connected to each other inside the housing portion 242. Since the opening at both ends of each of the accommodating portions 242 and 242 is sealed in a liquid-tight manner, the connection terminals 222 and 222 of the electrode 22 and the connection terminal 511 of the electric wire 5 are insulated and waterproofed. As a result, since leakage from the electrode 22 or the electric wire 5 is prevented, there is no possibility that the user of the electrostatic spraying device 1 will receive an electric shock.
Further, by fitting the sealing plugs 232 and 232 into the openings on the distal end side of the housing portions 242 and 242, sealing the opening on the distal end side of the housing portions 242 and 242 and attaching the waterproof member 23 to the holding member 24. Can be performed simultaneously.

The electrode 22 may include one connection terminal 222. However, even when the number of connection terminals 222 is one, it is desirable that the waterproof member 23 includes two sealing plugs 232 and 232. This is because when the waterproof member 23 includes only one sealing plug 232, the strength with which the holding member 24 holds the waterproof member 23 decreases.

The holding member 24 further includes two sealing members 243 and 243. Each sealing member 243 has insulating properties and waterproof properties, and is made of, for example, synthetic rubber or synthetic resin. The sealing member 243 has a cylindrical shape. On the peripheral surface of the sealing member 243, a plurality of ridges each having appropriate elasticity are arranged in parallel in the axial length direction. The sealing member 243 is fitted into the opening on the proximal end side of the housing portion 242, thereby sealing the opening on the proximal end side of the housing portion 242 in a liquid-tight manner.
One of the sealing members 243 and 243 is provided with a through hole through which the electric wire 5 passes. The sealing member 243 provided with the through hole is disposed in a portion covered with the covering portion 52 of the electric wire 5. The electric wire 5 and the sealing member 243 penetrating through the electric wire 5 are in liquid-tight contact.

The holding member 24 further includes two stoppers 244 and 244. The stoppers 244 and 244 are attached to the accommodating portions 242 and 242. The stoppers 244 and 244 close the openings on the base end sides of the accommodating portions 242 and 242 so that the sealing members 243 and 243 do not escape from the accommodating portions 242 and 242.
Each retainer 244 is provided with a loose insertion hole. The electric wire 5 is inserted with play in the loose insertion hole of one retaining member 244 (the retaining member 244 for the sealing member 243 penetrating the electric wire 5). The electric wire 5 is not inserted into the loose insertion hole of the other retaining stopper 244. However, since the loose insertion holes are provided in both the stoppers 244 and 244, the members are made common.

The electrostatic spray nozzle 2 further includes a stopper 25.
The stopper 25 includes a covering portion 251 and three engaging portions 252 252 252.
The covering portion 251 has a shape like a peripheral surface of a truncated cone, and is appropriately thinned.
The engaging portions 252, 252, and 252 are equally arranged at the end of the covering portion 251 on the large diameter side in the circumferential direction of the covering portion 251. Each engaging portion 252 protrudes outward in the axial length direction of the covering portion 251 from the end on the large diameter side of the covering portion 251. A claw projecting inward in the radial direction of the covering portion 251 is provided at the distal end portion of the engaging portion 252. The claw has a right trapezoidal cross section.

The holding member 24 further includes an annular portion 245 and six engaging portions 246, 246,.
The annular portion 245 has a disk shape with an open center, and is connected to the base end portion of the tubular portion 241 so as to surround the tubular portion 241 coaxially.
Each engaging portion 246 has a concave shape provided so as to cut out the outer peripheral portion of the annular portion 245. The engaging portions 246, 246,... Are equally arranged in the circumferential direction of the annular portion 245.

The engaging portion 252 of the retaining member 25 engages with the peripheral portion of the engaging portion 246 of the holding member 24. For this reason, the claw of the engaging portion 252 comes into contact with the peripheral edge portion of the engaging portion 246 of the holding member 24 from the distal end side of the holding member 24, and the engaging portion 252 is bent outward so that the engaging portion 252 is bent. The claw passes over the peripheral edge of the engaging portion 246 and engages with the peripheral edge of the engaging portion 246 from the base end side. The engaging portions 246 and 254 can be engaged and disengaged.

The retainer 25 is easily attached to the holding member 24 when the engaging portions 252, 252, 252 of the retainer 25 are engaged with any three of the engaging portions 246, 246,. . When the retaining member 25 is attached to the holding member 24, the waterproof member 23 attached to the retaining member 24 is covered by the covering portion 251 of the retaining member 25, so that the preventing member is removed from the housing portions 242 and 242 of the retaining member 24. It is possible to prevent the sealing plugs 232 and 232 of the 23 from coming out. Therefore, the strength with which the holding member 24 holds the waterproof member 23 can be improved.

The cylindrical portion 241 of the holding member 24 is attached to the nozzle body 21.
In order to attach the cylindrical portion 241, the nozzle body 21 further includes a cylindrical member 212. The cylindrical member 212 is attached to the nozzle body 21 so as to cover the outer peripheral surface of the nozzle body 21. A plurality of projecting portions 213, 213,... Are juxtaposed in the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 212. The protruding portion 213 protrudes in the radial direction from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 212.
On the other hand, from the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 241, the protruding part 247 protrudes in the radial direction over the entire circumference of the cylindrical part 241.
The nozzle body 21 is inserted into the tubular portion 241 such that the protruding portions 213, 213,... Of the nozzle body 21 are engaged with the protruding portion 247 of the tubular portion 241 from the proximal end side.

The holding member 24 further includes a rod-shaped lock member 248 bent in a U shape. Two through holes are juxtaposed in the circumferential direction on the peripheral wall of the cylindrical portion 241. The two end portions 24 a and 24 a in the length direction of the lock member 248 pass through the two through holes provided in the peripheral wall of the cylindrical portion 241 and are inserted into the cylindrical portion 241 from the outside. The end portions 24a and 24a of the lock member 248 engage with the protruding portions 213, 213,... Of the nozzle body 21 from the proximal end side. Since the projecting portions 213, 213,... Of the nozzle body 21 are sandwiched between the projecting portion 247 of the tubular portion 241 and the lock member 248, the nozzle body 21 is prevented from being detached from the tubular portion 241.

The electrostatic spray nozzle 2 is assembled as described above.
The assembled electrostatic spray nozzle 2 is connected to the pump 3 through a water supply pipe 31. The pump 3 pressurizes the liquid stored in the tank 32 and sends it to the electrostatic spray nozzle 2 through the water supply pipe 31. Then, the liquid is sprayed from the spray port 211 of the nozzle body 21.

In the assembled electrostatic spray nozzle 2, the annular portion 221 of the electrode 22 and the annular portion 231 of the waterproof member 23 are sprayed from the nozzle body 21 at a position spaced from the nozzle body 21 by an appropriate length in the spraying direction. Enclose the range. The cylindrical portion 241 of the holding member 24 surrounds the nozzle body 21. The axial length directions of the annular portions 221 and 231, the cylindrical portion 241, and the accommodating portions 242 and 242 are along the spray direction of the liquid sprayed from the nozzle body 21. The opening on the base end side of the housing portion 242 is an opening on the upstream side in the spraying direction, and the opening on the distal end side of the housing portion 242 is an opening on the downstream side in the spraying direction. Each sealing plug 232 of the waterproof member 23 protrudes from the annular portion 231 of the waterproof member 23 in the direction opposite to the spraying direction.

The power supply 4 is a positive power supply device that has a primary battery or a secondary battery and outputs a positive high voltage. The power supply 4 further has an output terminal and a ground terminal. The ground terminal of the power supply 4 is grounded. The output terminal of the power source 4 is connected to the other end portion of the conducting wire 51 of the electric wire 5 (the end portion on which the connection terminal 511 is not provided). The positive high voltage output from the power supply 4 is applied to the electrode 22 through the electric wire 5. As a result, the electrode 22 is positively charged.
The power source 4 does not have a battery and may be connected to a commercial power source or a generator outside the electrostatic spraying device 1.

The electrostatic spray nozzle 2 is used so that a liquid is sprayed toward a crop planted in a field. When the electrode 22 is positively charged, the liquid sprayed from the nozzle body 21 is negatively charged. The charged liquid adheres uniformly to the crops planted in the field due to the electrostatic effect.
The power supply 4 may be a negative power supply device that outputs a negative high voltage. In this case, since the electrode 22 is negatively charged, the liquid sprayed from the nozzle body 21 is positively charged.

By the way, in order to give the electrostatic spraying nozzle 2 (and hence the electrostatic spraying device 1) the required performance, the electrical resistance value of the synthetic rubber or the synthetic resin constituting the waterproof member 23, the annular portion 231 of the waterproof member 23. It is necessary to optimize the shape, thickness and the like. If the insulating property or waterproofness of the waterproof member 23 is lower than the predetermined performance, there is a risk of leakage or short circuit. In addition, if the insulating property of the waterproof member 23 is too high, the liquid sprayed from the nozzle body 21 cannot be charged, and the electrostatic effect may be insufficient.

The electrostatic spray nozzle 2 is easy to disassemble. For example, when the engagement portions 246, 246, 246 of the holding member 24 and the engagement portions 252, 252, 252 of the retaining member 25 are disengaged, the retaining member 25 is removed from the retaining member 24. Further, the sealing plugs 232 and 232 of the waterproof member 23 are pulled out from the accommodating portions 242 and 242 of the holding member 24, and the connection terminal 511 of the electric wire 5 is removed from the connection terminal 222 of the electrode 22. 5, the electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23 are removed.

The electrostatic spray nozzle 2 is disassembled, for example, for replacement of deteriorated parts. The replacement of the nozzle body 21, the replacement of the electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23, the replacement of the holding member 24, the replacement of the retaining member 25, the replacement of the electric wire 5, and the like can be performed individually. Therefore, it is possible to reduce parts that are replaced in vain.
Since the electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23 are integrated, the waterproof member 23 cannot be replaced with another waterproof member. Therefore, there is no possibility that the deteriorated waterproof member 23 is replaced with a waterproof member having no predetermined property.

After replacement of the parts, the electrostatic spray nozzle 2 is reassembled. When the electrostatic spray nozzle 2 is assembled, the electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23 are attached simultaneously. Therefore, there is no possibility of forgetting to attach only one of the electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23. When the electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23 are not attached, the electrostatic effect cannot be obtained. Therefore, it is possible to easily notice that the electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23 are forgotten to be attached.
As a result of the above, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of defects (leakage or lack of electrostatic effect) associated with the replacement of parts.

Since the electrode 22 and the waterproof member 23 are integrated, the number of parts can be reduced compared to the case where these are separate bodies. Therefore, it is easy to prepare and replace parts when assembling and disassembling the electrostatic spray nozzle 2.
Attachment of the retaining member 25 to the holding member 24 and removal of the retaining member 25 from the holding member 24 can be easily performed by engaging and disengaging the engaging portions 246 and 252. Therefore, for example, the time required for the assembly and disassembly of the electrostatic spray nozzle 2 can be shortened as compared with the case where the stopper 25 is attached to the holding member 24 by screwing.
The electrostatic spraying device 1 as described above may be, for example, a backpack type sprayer, a self-propelled sprayer, or a hand-held sprayer.

When the electrostatic spraying device 1 includes a plurality of electrostatic spraying nozzles 2, 2,..., Electric wires 5, 5 are connected to both of the connection terminals 222, 222 of the electrodes 22 included in each electrostatic spraying nozzle 2. Connection terminals 511 and 511 are connected. The electrodes 22, 22,... Of the power source 4 and the electrostatic spray nozzles 2, 2,. In this case, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the electrostatic spray nozzle 2 farthest from the power source 4 has the connection terminal 511 of the electric wire 5 connected to one of the connection terminals 222 and 222 of the electrode 22.
