Abstract
Description
The present disclosure relates to a light emitting device.
A light-emitting device including a semiconductor light-emitting element such as a light-emitting diode is small in size, has high power efficiency, and is less likely to be broken. Further, it has excellent initial driving characteristics and is strong against vibration and repeated on / off lighting. Because of such excellent characteristics, light-emitting devices using light-emitting elements such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and laser diodes (LDs) are used as various light sources. In particular, light-emitting devices called white LEDs for illumination use are widely used in place of fluorescent lamps, and further market expansion is expected in the future. In addition, white LEDs have various emission spectra that can be selected depending on the combination of a light emitting element (light emitting diode) as a primary light source and a phosphor. In recent years, in addition to high output, high color rendering, etc., emission spectra suitable for various applications. A white light emitting module having the above has been developed.
For example,
However, in the light emitting module of
In view of this, an object of the present embodiment is to provide a light-emitting device that has a reduced light extraction efficiency and a small change in emission color even when used for a long time.
A light emitting device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first light emitting element that emits first light having a peak wavelength of 400 nm to 420 nm, a peak wavelength of 420 nm to 470 nm, and the first light. A second light-emitting element that emits second light that is longer than the peak wavelength, and a base body that includes a reflective structure that reflects the first light and the second light, The reflective structure includes a cured resin obtained by curing an alicyclic epoxy resin composition including a light diffusing material, and the light diffusing material includes zirconium oxide, yttrium oxide, aluminum oxide, aluminum hydroxide, and barium carbonate. , At least one selected from the group consisting of barium sulfate, magnesium oxide and magnesium carbonate.
According to the light-emitting device of one embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to provide a light-emitting device with little change in emission color and high light extraction efficiency even when used for a long time.
Hereinafter, the light emitting device of the embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view illustrating a configuration of a light emitting device according to an embodiment.
The light-emitting device of the embodiment is a surface-mount type light-emitting device, and includes, for example, a
The first
In the light emitting device, the first light and the second light emitted upward from the first
However, in the above configuration, depending on the type of the cured resin that constitutes the
Therefore, in the light emitting device of this embodiment, the
In addition, although the resin composition which comprises the
In the light emitting device of the present embodiment, the
As described above, according to the light emitting device of the present embodiment, it is possible to provide a light emitting device that has little change in emission color even when used for a long time, has high extraction efficiency, and is inexpensive.
Hereinafter, a specific configuration included in the light emitting device of this embodiment will be described.
In addition, the light-emitting device of embodiment is not limited to the following structures.
The light-emitting device of
The light emitting device according to the first embodiment has, for example, white light by mixing the first light, the second light, and the third light emitted from the
As a phosphor that is hardly excited by the first light and excited by the second light, Y 3 Al 5 O 12 : Ce can be given. Here, being hardly excited by the first light means that the excitation efficiency in the visible light region is 50% or less, and does not mean that the excitation efficiency is 0%.
Modification of
Further, a plurality of types of phosphors that are excited by part or all of the second light and emit light different from the second light and having different emission colors may be included.
The light-emitting device of
The light emitting device according to the second embodiment has the first light emitted outside without exciting the phosphor, or not absorbed by the phosphor, and without exciting the phosphor, or the fluorescence. A second light emitted outside without being absorbed by the body, a third light emitted by each of the phosphors excited by a part of the first light and a part of the second light, For example, white light is emitted. For example, the third light that emits one of green light, blue light, and red light can be used.
For example,
The phosphor that is excited by the first light and the second light and emits green light includes (Si, Al) 6 (N, O) 8 : Eu,
The phosphor that is excited by the first light and the second light and emits blue light includes Sr 4 Al 14 O 25 : Eu,
- is excited by the first light and second light, the phosphor which emits red light, CaAlSiN 3: Eu and the like.
By using the phosphor exemplified here in combination with the first light-emitting
Modification of
The light emitting device of
FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a configuration of the light emitting device according to the fourth embodiment.
The light emitting device of the fourth embodiment is substantially the same as that of the first embodiment except that the arrangement of the light reflecting member and the phosphor in the light transmissive sealing member is different.
The light-transmitting
The light

By using an acid anhydride as the curing agent, it is possible to suppress deterioration of the reflective structure due to light of 400 nm or more and around 440 nm.
Examples of the curing catalyst include imidazoles such as 2-methylimidazole and 2-ethyl-4-methylimidazole, amines such as 2,4,6-tris (dimethylaminomethyl) phenol and benzyldimethylamine, triphenylphosphine, Quaternary phosphonium salts such as organic phosphorus compounds such as tributylphosphine, halogenated triphenylmonoalkylphosphonium typified by triphenylethylphosphonium bromide, tetrabutylphosphonium O, O′-diethyldithiophosphate, and the like, 4 Examples include quaternary ammonium salts, organometallic salts, and derivatives thereof.

As a result of further investigation, zirconium oxide, yttrium oxide, aluminum oxide, aluminum hydroxide, barium carbonate, barium sulfate, magnesium oxide, and magnesium carbonate have a reflectivity for light in the entire visible light region and in the wavelength region of 400 nm to 420 nm. Among them, in particular, zirconium oxide and yttrium oxide are suitable for the light emitting device of this embodiment because they have a high refractive index and a high reflectance in the visible light range of 400 nm or more.
(1-3) Other additives An alicyclic epoxy resin composition or a resin cured product thereof includes a curing catalyst, a flexible agent, an ultraviolet absorber, an antioxidant, a release agent, various fillers, a reinforcing material, and a diffusing agent. And at least one selected from the group consisting of pigments, phosphors, reflective substances, light-shielding substances, and flame retardants. These additives are added as required in order to constitute the reflecting

Nitride semiconductors exhibit n-type conductivity without being doped with impurities, but in order to form a desired n-type nitride semiconductor, Si, Ge, Se, Te, C, etc. are appropriately introduced as n-type dopants. In order to form a p-type nitride semiconductor, p-type dopants such as Zn, Mg, Be, Ca, Sr, and Ba are doped. In addition, since it is difficult to convert a nitride semiconductor into a p-type simply by doping a p-type dopant, it is preferable to lower the resistance by heating in a furnace or plasma irradiation after introducing the p-type dopant. After sequentially forming predetermined nitride semiconductor layers in this way, the wafer having electrodes formed at predetermined positions is cut into chips, whereby the first

In a nitride semiconductor light emitting device using an insulating substrate such as sapphire or spinel, p-side and n-side electrodes are usually formed on the semiconductor surface side. In this case, the p-type semiconductor is etched to expose the n-type semiconductor, and each electrode having a desired shape is formed on each of the p-type semiconductor layer and the n-type semiconductor layer using a sputtering method, a vacuum evaporation method, or the like. When light is extracted from the semiconductor side, the electrode formed on almost the entire surface of the p-type semiconductor layer is a translucent electrode made of a metal thin film.

Specific examples include resin compositions such as silicone resins, modified silicone resins, epoxy resins, and modified epoxy resins, which are thermosetting resins, and hybrid resins containing one or more of these can also be used. In particular, the dimethyl silicone resin is suitable for the light emitting device of the present embodiment because the light degradation is small even when a light emitting element of around 400 nm is used.
