Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a connector for electrically connecting a circuit or an apparatus and the like, and a connector attaching method for attaching the connector to a cable.
For example, in order to control an electric device such as a motor mounted on an industrial robot, a multicore cable is connected to the electric device, and several kinds of control signals are sent to the electric device. In this case, a multipolar connector may be used to connect the multicore cable to the electric device. Further, in order to save space for cable routing and connector layout, an L-shaped connector in which the cable mounting direction (drawing direction) and the connector detaching direction intersect may be used. In addition, in order to suppress the radiation of electromagnetic waves from the control signal to the outside and the penetration of electromagnetic waves from the outside, between the cable attached to the connector (internal conductor through which the control signal flows) and the terminal provided on the connector A connector having a shield member for electromagnetic shielding may be used.
The multipolar L-shaped connector that is attached to the end of the cable and includes a shield member is difficult to reduce in size because of its structure. That is, FIG. 13 shows a conventional multipolar and L-shaped connector that is attached to the end of a cable and includes a shield member. As shown in FIG. 13A, the
Such a
When attaching the
On the other hand, in the connector described in

The connector 1 has a plurality of (for example, six)
As shown in FIG. 5, the
9 and 10 show the
The shield member
As shown in FIG. 10, fixing
The
The fixed
As shown in FIG. 9, a
Further, as shown in FIG. 9, the
Further, the
As shown in FIG. 5, the
FIG. 11 shows the configuration of the pressing
The
As shown in FIG. 12A, the pressing
When the pressing
Further, when the pressing
As shown in FIG. 5, the
As shown in FIG. 5, the

(3) Next, as shown in FIG. 12, the pressing
(4) Next, as shown in FIG. 4, after the signal terminals 25 </ b> A are connected to the
The connector 1 may be attached to the
According to the connector 1 of the embodiment of the present invention, when the connector 1 is attached to the
Further, according to the connector 1 of the embodiment of the present invention, the
Further, the
Further, the
Further, since the
Further, the
In the above-described embodiment, the
In the above-described embodiment, the pair of
In the above-described embodiment, the
Alternatively, a part of the shield member and a part of the outer conductor of the multicore cable may be opposed to each other in the front-rear direction, and both may be pressed in the front-rear direction to electrically connect the shield member and the outer conductor.
Further, a left side plate or a right side plate may be added to the
In the above-described embodiment, the
