Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 上部と、前記上部と反対側の底部と、を備える熱可塑性の材料と、
前記熱可塑性の材料の上部及び底部の少なくともいずれか一方に、作用可能なように関連づけられて取付けられた酸素活性式のヒータと、
を備えたことを特徴とする一体化された熱成形可能な添え木及びヒータ。 - 前記酸素活性式のヒータは、
ヒータシート、選択的な芯層、及び散気層を備え、それぞれ、上面と、前記上面と反対側の底面と、を備え、
前記ヒータシートの前記底面は、前記熱可塑性の材料の前記上部及び底部の少なくともいずれか一方に、作用可能に接するように配置され、
前記芯層の前記底面は、前記ヒータシートの前記上面に、作用可能に接するように配置され、
前記散気層の前記底部は、前記芯層の前記上面に、作用可能に接するように配置されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発明。 - 前記ヒータシートは、金属ベースの基板であって、酸素にさらされることで発熱反応を起こす金属ベースの基板からなる、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の発明。
- 前記芯層は、電解質を含有し、前記電解質は、前記ヒータシートが酸素にさらされた際に前記ヒータシートと作用可能なように利用される、ことを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の発明。
- 前記ヒータシートの前記底部、及び、前記熱可塑性の材料の上部または下部の少なくともいずれか1つは、結合成分を備える、ことを特徴とする請求項2乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の発明。
- 前記結合成分は、接着剤を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の発明。
- 前記結合成分は、不織物材料を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載の発明。
- さらに、前記熱可塑性の材料の上部及び底部の少なくとも1つと関連づけられた断熱材料を備える、ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の発明。
- 前記断熱材料は、前記散気層、断熱パッドの少なくともいずれか1つを備える、ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の発明。
- 前記散気層は、前記散気層の前記底面全体にわたって、周辺領域を備え、
前記周辺領域は、前記ヒータシート及び前記芯層を前記熱可塑性の材料に対して作用可能に関連づけるように、前記熱可塑性の材料の関連づけられた前記上部または前記底部の一部に固定される、ことを特徴とする請求項2乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の発明。 - さらに、内部領域と外面とを備える外ハウジングを備え、前記酸素活性式のヒータ及び前記熱可塑性の材料は、前記外ハウジングの前記内部領域内に包含される、ことを特徴とする請求項2乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の発明。
- 前記外ハウジングは、シールを備えるとともに、前記外ハウジングの前記内部領域への酸素の伝達を実質的に遮断する材料から形成される、ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の発明。
- 前記外ハウジングは、酸素進入領域と、前記酸素進入領域上のリムーバブルシールと、を備え、前記リムーバブルシールを少なくとも部分的に剥がすことで酸素が前記外ハウジングの前記内部領域に入り込んで前記酸素活性式のヒータと接触する、ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の発明。
- 一体化された熱成形可能な添え木及びヒータの製造方法であって、
酸素活性式のヒータを組み上げるステップと、
熱可塑性の材料と、前記酸素活性式のヒータとを物理的に関連づけるステップと、
取付けた前記熱可塑性の材料及び前記酸素活性式のヒータを、ハウジングの内部領域に配置するステップと、
前記ハウジングを密封して前記ハウジングの前記内部領域に酸素が存在しない状態にし、前記酸素活性式のヒータの活性化を抑制するステップと、
を備えたことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記活性式のヒータを組み上げるステップは、
電解質の芯層であって、上面と、前記上面と反対側の底面とを有する芯層を、金属ベースのヒータ基板の上面に配置し、
前記芯層の上に、散気領域を配置して前記電解質の芯層を前記散気層と前記金属ベースのヒータ基板との間に保持する、
ことを含む、ことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。 - 前記熱可塑性の材料は、上部と、前記上部と反対側の底部とを備え、前記の方法は、さらに、前記金属ベースのヒータ基板を前記熱可塑性の材料の前記上部に接着するステップをさらに備える、ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の発明。
- さらに、前記散気層の外周領域を、前記熱可塑性の材料の前記上部の一部に固定するステップを備える、ことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記金属ベースのヒータを前記熱可塑性の材料の前記上部に接着するステップは、接着剤及び不織物フェルトの少なくとも1つを、前記熱可塑性の材料の前記上部と、前記金属ベースのヒータ基板の底面とに関連づけるステップを備える、ことを特徴とする請求項16または17に記載の方法。
- さらに、
前記外ハウジングに酸素進入領域を形成して前記ハウジングの前記内部領域へ酸素が進入しうるようにするとともに、前記酸素活性式のヒータと接触しうるようにするステップと、
前記酸素進入領域上にリムーバブルシールを関連付けして前記リムーバブルシールが剥がされない限りは、酸素が前記ハウジングの前記内部領域に進入することを防止するようにするステップと、
を備えたことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。 - 熱成形可能な添え木のキットであって、
上部と、前記上部と反対側の底部と、を備える熱可塑性の材料と、
前記熱可塑性の材料の前記上部及び底部の少なくとも1つに対し、作用可能に関連付けされて取付けられた酸素活性式のヒータであって、前記熱成形可能な添え木とともに酸素不浸透性のハウジング内に密封された酸素活性式のヒータと、
前記熱成形可能な添え木を、望ましい態様に成形された後に患者に対して固定する弾性の帯具と、
を備えたことを特徴とするキット。
