Claims (10)
- 薬物送達デバイス(10)であって、
薬物で充填されたカートリッジ、または薬物で充填されたカートリッジ(30)を受容するように適合されたコンパートメントであり、前記カートリッジが、本体部分、軸方向に変位可能なピストン(31)、およびフローコンジットと流体連通状態に構成されるように適合された遠位の出口部分を備える、薬物で充填されたカートリッジまたはコンパートメントと、
吐出組立体であり、
再充電可能な電源(15)、
電源を再充電するために、前記電源の外部コネクタを接続できる電気的なコネクタ(12)、
装填されたカートリッジ(30)の前記ピストン(31)に係合するように適合された軸方向に変位可能なピストン駆動部材(13)、
前記ピストン駆動部材を遠位方向に駆動して、それにより、装填されたカートリッジから薬物を吐出するためのモータ(14)、および
前記モータを制御するためのコントローラ(40)
を備える吐出組立体とを備え、

- 前記薬物送達コネクタ(12)内に受容されるように適合された外部コネクタ(22)を備える外部電源(20)と組み合わせることにより、前記電源を充電するように適合されている、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 外部デバイスから用量設定データを受け取ることを可能にする通信手段をさらに備え、前記コントローラが、受け取った用量設定データを記憶し、かつ前記モータを制御して前記ピストン駆動部材を移動させ、それにより、設定された用量に対応する薬物量を吐出するように適合されている、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記コントローラはクロックを備え、かつ少なくとも2つの事前設定された用量を表す用量設定データを記憶するように適合され、各事前設定された用量が、日および/または週の時間期間と関連付けられ、また

(i)モータ駆動式の薬物吐出組立体を備える再充電可能な薬物送達デバイスを提供するステップであり、前記薬物送達デバイスが、前記薬物送達デバイスを再充電するために、電源の外部コネクタを接続できるようにする電気的なコネクタ(12)を有する、ステップと、
(ii)外部電源(20、22)が前記電気的なコネクタに接続されていることを示す状態を検出するステップと、
