Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a nonaqueous electrolyte storage element that absorbs or releases an anion in a positive electrode and a cation in a negative electrode.

This configuration will be described in more detail including the prior art.
As a conventional technique, a technique using various carbon-based materials such as graphite is known as a positive electrode active material as shown in Comparative Examples 2 to 5 described later.
In addition, Li-based secondary batteries are required to have higher capacities, and a structure for increasing capacities by inserting anions into the positive electrode active material is considered for the purpose of increasing the capacities. It is done. In order to insert an anion into a positive electrode active material such as graphite, it has been found that it is generally necessary to provide a potential difference of about 4.5 V with respect to the Li potential.
However, when graphite is simply used as the positive electrode active material, when a voltage of 4.5 V (vs. Li potential) or more is applied for the purpose of obtaining a high capacity, the graphite interlayer distance (d = 0.335 nm) is exceeded in the graphite. Large size anions will be inserted.
Thus, when an attempt is made to insert an anion into the crystal structure, the crystal structure cannot follow the insertion and desorption of the anion, and the graphite crystal structure collapses. Since the collapse of the graphite crystal structure means the collapse of the positive electrode active material particles, it becomes impossible to insert anions, leading to a decrease in capacity when charge and discharge are repeated.
The nonaqueous electrolyte storage element of the present invention repeats charging and discharging at a high voltage for the purpose of obtaining a high capacity, and even when anions are inserted between carbon layers of non-graphitizable carbon, the expansion between the carbon layers is tertiary. Since the pores formed in the original network shape are relaxed, the collapse of the structure of the positive electrode
Therefore, even when charging and discharging are repeated with a high voltage by increasing the voltage, the structure of the positive electrode

The crystallinity of the positive electrode
The X-ray diffraction spectrum will be described.
An X-ray diffraction spectrum can be obtained from a measurement result using, for example, an X-ray diffraction apparatus (XRD: X-ray diffraction).
When X-rays having a wavelength comparable to the distance between atoms are incident on a material in which atoms are regularly arranged, X-rays are scattered by electrons belonging to each atom. The scattered X-rays interfere with each other and strengthen each other in a specific direction, thereby causing an X-ray diffraction phenomenon.
By measuring the diffraction spectrum while changing the wavelength of the incident X-ray, the interstitial distance of the crystal structure of the substance can be measured.
At this time, if the object to be measured is amorphous, there is no regularity in the interstitial distance, and the diffraction spectrum is only a gentle mountain or flat in the entire measurement wavelength. However, since the interstitial distance shows regularity in the crystallized portion, a peak (maximum value) appears in the diffraction spectrum at a specific wavelength corresponding to the interstitial distance. In the following description, the specific maximum value is particularly referred to as a diffraction peak.
That is, having a diffraction peak in the region of the Bragg angle 2θ indicates that at least a part of the positive electrode
If graphitized, anion insertion occurs at a potential of 4.5 V or more at the potential of Li, and a higher capacity can be obtained.
In addition, two diffraction peaks indicate that two crystal structures with different interstitial distances appear. Here, it is more preferable that the intensity ratio I l / I h > 1 when the diffraction peak intensity on the low angle side is I l and the diffraction peak intensity on the high angle side is I h of the two peaks.
The proportion of the peak intensity I l on a low angle side is large, it means a greater carbon interlayer distance d of the area to graphitization. Therefore, when the intensity ratio I 1 / I h is larger than 1, the carbon layer structure is not broken even when an anion is inserted, and a higher capacity can be obtained.
In addition, as the crystallinity of the positive electrode

The BET specific surface area of the positive electrode
Such a BET specific surface area can be determined, for example, from the measurement result of the adsorption isotherm by an automatic specific surface area / pore distribution measuring device (TriStar II 3020, manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation) using the BET method.
The BET specific surface area indicates that the larger the numerical value, the larger the amount of
When the BET specific surface area of the positive electrode
On the other hand, when the BET specific surface area of the positive electrode active material is too large as in the activated carbon shown in Comparative Example 3, the reaction with the electrolytic solution proceeds too easily, so that the decomposition of the electrolytic solution is accelerated by repeated charge and discharge. In the long term, the discharge capacity may decrease.
When the BET specific surface area of the positive electrode
The volume occupied by the
When the pore volume is 0.2 mL / g or more, relatively large mesopores among the formed pores 32 are easily connected to each other as shown in FIG. The movement becomes easier and the discharge capacity is improved.

The non-graphitizable carbon is obtained by subjecting polyimide, phenol resin, acrylic resin, pitch thermosetting resin or the like as a starting material to heat treatment. In addition, it is not limited to this starting material, It is good also considering other thermosetting resins as a starting material.
An example of such non-graphitizable carbon is, for example, Knobel (registered trademark: manufactured by Toyo Tanso Co., Ltd.).
A method for producing the positive electrode
First, a reinforcing material having a three-dimensional network structure and a starting material which is an organic substance as a carbon material forming source are formed and carbonized by firing at 2000 ° C. or higher.
After that, by dissolving the muscle material with acid or alkali, the trace of dissolving the muscle material becomes a plurality of mesopores forming a three-dimensional network structure, which can be intentionally formed.
As the reinforcing material, acid or alkali-soluble metal is preferable. However, it is not limited to such a configuration and can be appropriately selected according to the purpose. Other examples include metal oxides, metal salts, and metal-containing organic substances.
The starting material is not particularly limited as long as it can be carbonized, and can be appropriately selected depending on the purpose. Since the starting material is generally an organic substance and emits a volatile substance during carbonization, micropores are formed as emission traces. Therefore, it is difficult to produce

(Comparative Example 5)
In Example 1, the mass ratio of the solid content of each material forming the positive electrode active material is natural graphite (special CP, manufactured by Nippon Graphite Industry Co., Ltd.) and the positive electrode is 100: 7.5: 3.0: 3.8. A nonaqueous electrolyte storage element of Comparative Example 5 was produced in the same manner as in Example 1 except that it was replaced with and evaluated in the same manner as in Example 1. The results are shown in Table 1.

(Examples 2 to 7)
In Example 1, as shown in Table 2, the positive electrode
(Comparative Example 6)
In Example 1, the positive electrode
From the results of Table 2, the crystallinity of the positive electrode
From the comparison between Example 6 and Comparative Example 6, when one diffraction peak existing in the range between 25.00 and 27.00 of the Bragg angle 2θ is 26.5, the same pore volume Even if it exists, it turns out that a BET specific surface area is small and long-term cycle property is superior to the comparative example 6. FIG.
As already described, in the X-ray diffraction spectrum when the positive electrode
That is, by having such a diffraction peak, the positive electrode
Further, by comparing Example 6 with Examples 1 to 5 and 7, in order to improve the discharge capacity, the number of diffraction peaks existing in the range of the Bragg angle 2θ = 25.00 to 27.00 is two. It is more preferable that
Further, according to the comparison between Example 7 and Examples 1 to 5, when the intensity ratio I 1 / I h of the two diffraction peaks satisfies the intensity ratio I 1 / I h > 1, the discharge capacity at 100 cycles is Since it exceeds 60 mAh / g, the intensity ratio I l / I h of the two peaks is preferably larger than 1.
With this configuration, the nonaqueous

From the results of Table 3-1 and Table 3-2, Example 8 and Example 9 maintain the capacity maintenance rate at 100 cycles of 95% or more, Example 8 and Example 9 have a high capacity, and It was found that the long-term cycle was excellent.
In other words, Example 8 and Example 9 in which the positive electrode
That is, even when graphite or lithium titanate (LTO) is used for the
Further, from the results of Examples 10 and 11, and Examples 8 and 9, it is more desirable to set the discharge end voltage to a low value from the viewpoint of increasing the capacity.
3 and 4 show changes in the discharge curves of Example 8 and Example 10, respectively. As is apparent from FIGS. 3 and 4, it can be seen that a higher capacity can be obtained by setting the set value of the discharge end voltage to a lower value.
From the above results, the nonaqueous
