Abstract
【解決手段】電子カメラは、2個以上の画像センサアレイを含む。画像センサアレイの少なくとも1個は、高ダイナミックレンジを有する。カメラは、光を選択的に2個以上の画像センサアレイに到達できるようにするシャッタと、画像センサアレイから選択的に画素データを読出すための読出回路と、シャッタと読出回路を制御するように構成されたコントローラとを含む。コントローラは、プロセッサと、コンピュータ可読コードを組入れたメモリとを含む。コンピュータ可読コードは、プロセッサによって実行されると、画像把捉期間中にコントローラによってシャッタを開かせる。

Claims (14)
- 複数の画像センサと、光学システムと、メモリと、コントローラと、複数のデータ線とを備える電子カメラであって、
前記複数の画像センサは第1受光チップと第2受光チップとを含み、前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとのそれぞれは、複数の画素位置において光強度を測定するように作動し、前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとは互いに異なる特徴を有し、
前記光学システムは、前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとが同じ画像に露出されるように前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとのそれぞれに光を焦点合わせするように構成され、
前記コントローラは、ソフトウェアによって指示されるように構成されたマイクロプロセッサを備え、
前記データ線は、前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとから前記コントローラに画素データを生成するように前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップと前記コントローラとに接続され、
前記コントローラは、画像把捉期間に亘って同時に前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップが前記同じ画像の対応する第1露出と第2露出とを把捉するようにすることと、前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとから画素データを受取ることと、前記同じ画像を表す組合せデータを生成すべく、前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとからの画素データを組合せることと、前記組合せデータを前記メモリに記憶することとを行うように構成され、
前記第2受光チップは、前記第1受光チップよりも高いダイナミックレンジを有する、
電子カメラ。 - 前記第1受光チップはカラーセンサを備え、
前記第2受光チップはモノクロ光センサを備える、
請求項1記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記第2受光チップは、前記第1受光チップよりも低い解像度を有する、
請求項1記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記第2受光チップは、各方向で前記第1受光チップの4分の1の解像度を有する、
請求項1記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記第1受光チップは、1920×1080以上の解像度を有する、
請求項1記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記組合せデータは、高ダイナミックレンジ情報を含む第1部分と、トーンマップデータを含む第2部分とを有する、
請求項1〜5の何れか一項記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記電子カメラはさらに、光が選択的に前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとに到達することを許容する機械的シャッタを備える、
請求項1〜6の何れか一項記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記組合せデータは、高ダイナミックレンジ画像フォーマットである、
請求項1〜6の何れか一項記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記高ダイナミックレンジ画像フォーマットは、種々のレベルの輝度を表すべく各色16ビットもしくは32ビットを使用する、
請求項8記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとのうちの少なくとも一つは、高ダイナミックレンジを有する、
請求項1〜8の何れか一項記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記第1受光チップは高解像度と標準ダイナミックレンジとを有し、
前記第2受光チップは低解像度と高ダイナミックレンジとを有する、
請求項1〜10の何れか一項記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記コントローラは、前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとを、互いに異なる期間において露出させるように構成される、
請求項1〜10の何れか一項記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記コントローラは、前記画像把捉期間において前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとのうちの1つが多重露光を把捉するように作動させるように構成される、
請求項1〜10の何れか一項記載の電子カメラ。 - 前記第1受光チップと前記第2受光チップとのそれぞれは、CCDを備える、
