Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for determining a lamination temperature in manufacturing a solar cell module and a method for manufacturing a solar cell module using the same.
In recent years, solar cells as a clean energy source have attracted attention due to the growing awareness of environmental issues. Currently, various types of solar cell modules have been developed and proposed. Generally, a solar cell module has a configuration in which a transparent front substrate made of glass or the like, a solar cell element, and a back surface protection sheet are laminated via a sealing material sheet.
As a sealing material sheet used for a solar cell module, a resin sheet made of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin (EVA resin) is most commonly used from the viewpoints of workability, workability, manufacturing cost, etc. It is used as something. However, EVA resin has a tendency to gradually decompose with long-term use, and deteriorates inside the solar cell module to decrease its strength or generate acetic acid gas that affects the solar cell element. there is a possibility. For this reason, the sealing material sheet for solar cell modules which uses polyolefin resin, such as polyethylene, instead of EVA resin is proposed (
Here, in the sealing sheet mainly composed of a polyethylene resin, transparency and flexibility can be improved by reducing the density thereof. If it is a sealing material sheet which has a softness | flexibility, a solar cell element and a sealing material sheet can be laminated | stacked, and the crack of a solar cell element can be prevented at the time of integration. However, lowering the density of the encapsulant sheet, on the other hand, causes problems such as excessive flow during heat processing and insufficient heat resistance of the base resin, leading to the risk of product deterioration during long-term use in high-temperature environments. Let
As an adverse effect of excessive flow during the heat processing of the sealing material described above, for example, there is a problem of contamination of the vacuum laminator. That is, when laminating for integration as a solar cell module, only the sealing material flows excessively, and the facility is that the molten resin derived from the sealing material that protrudes around the back surface protection sheet contaminates the laminator. It is a problem of contamination.
In the sealing material of
According to the knowledge obtained by the present inventors, the laminating temperature in the thermal laminating process at the time of integrating the encapsulating material composition forming the encapsulating material sheet and the solar cell element and the encapsulating material sheet, It has been found that both the flexibility that can prevent the cracking of the solar cell element and the fluidity that does not cause the contamination of the vacuum laminator affect both characteristics. However, no attempt has been made to determine the optimum laminating temperature in the thermal laminating process from the viewpoint of achieving both of these characteristics.
The present invention has been made in view of the above situation, and the purpose thereof is a flexibility that can prevent cracking of the solar cell element during lamination for integration as a solar cell module, It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for determining a laminate temperature that can achieve both fluidity that does not cause contamination of a vacuum laminator and a method for manufacturing a solar cell module using the method.
As a result of intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors have focused on thermomechanical analysis (TMA test) of a sealing material sheet used for manufacturing a solar cell module, and have a predetermined needle pressing depth. The degree to which cracking of the solar cell element can be prevented in the thermal laminating process in which the sealing material sheet and the other members are heated and integrated by manufacturing the solar cell module by the lamination temperature determining method of the present invention. It is possible to achieve both the flexibility and the fluidity that does not cause contamination of the vacuum laminator.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a method for determining a lamination temperature of the present invention and a method for manufacturing a solar cell module using the method will be described. The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below.

The wiring for current collection is arranged on the light receiving surface side of the solar cell element 2. In addition, the number of current collecting wirings is not particularly limited, but a solar cell module arranged, for example, about 2 or 3 can be exemplified.

<Lamination temperature determination method>
The laminate temperature determining method of the present embodiment determines the optimum laminate temperature for performing a thermal laminate process for heating and integrating the sealing material sheet and other members in the production of the solar cell module. It is a decision method. The laminate temperature determining method of the present embodiment is specifically a laminate temperature determining method determined by a TMA curve obtained by the following thermomechanical analysis (TMA) test.
[TMA test]
The thermomechanical analysis (TMA) test relating to the present embodiment is a test for determining the temperature of a predetermined needle indentation depth ratio (%). Specifically, a φ10 mm sealing material sheet is set in the TMA apparatus, the pressure is set to a constant pressure of 50 kPa into a φ1 mm needle, the temperature is increased from room temperature at a temperature rising rate of 5 ° C./min, and the needle pressing depth at that time This is a test to measure the thickness.
The temperature of the ratio (%) of the predetermined needle pressing depth is, for example, the pressing of the needle into the sealing
The ratio (%) of the pressing depth of the needle into the sealing
Then, to determine the lamination temperature in the thermal lamination process of integrating by heating the sealing material sheet and other members T 50% or higher T 90% or less and. When the laminating temperature is less than T 50% , the sealing material sheet and other members are integrated in a state where the sealing
T 50% and T 90 determined by a TMA curve showing a relationship between a predetermined temperature range (° C.) and a ratio (%) of the depth of pressing of the needle into the sealing
<Sealing material sheet>
The laminating temperature determination method of the present invention determines the laminating temperature from T 50% and T 90% obtained from the TMA curve. Therefore, T 50 of the sealing material sheet which can be used for the manufacturing method of the solar cell module which performs the thermal lamination process with the optimal lamination temperature determined by the lamination temperature determination method of this invention and the lamination temperature determination method of this invention. % And T 90% are preferably larger. The difference between T 50% and T 90% of the encapsulant sheet is increased to prevent cracking of the solar cell element in the heat laminating process in which the encapsulant sheet and other members are heated and integrated. Therefore, the temperature range of the optimum laminating temperature that can achieve both the flexibility that can be achieved and the fluidity that does not cause contamination of the vacuum laminator becomes large.
Specifically, the encapsulant sheet is preferably an encapsulant sheet in which the difference between T 50% and T 90% is 20 ° C. or more, and the encapsulant in which the difference between T 50% and T 90% is 25 ° C. or more. More preferably, it is a sheet, more preferably a sealing material sheet in which the difference between T 50% and T 90% is 30 ° C. or more. If the difference between T 50% and T 90% is 20 ° C. or more, the temperature range of the optimum laminating temperature in the production of the solar cell module is increased, and the flexibility of the thermal laminating process in which the sealing material sheet is integrated and It becomes easier to determine the optimum laminating temperature in consideration of other requirements such as production efficiency other than fluidity.
Further, T 50% is preferably a sealing material sheet of 90 ° C. or higher and 130 ° C. or lower, and more preferably a sealing material sheet of 105 ° C. or higher and 125 ° C. or lower. Further, 90% of T is preferably a sealing material sheet of 130 ° C. or higher and 170 ° C. or lower, and more preferably 140 ° C. or higher and 160 ° C. or lower. Since the optimum laminating temperature in the production of a solar cell module is usually about 115 ° C. or higher and 150 ° C. or lower, if T 50% and T 90% are in the above ranges, the encapsulant sheet prevents cracking of the solar cell element. It is possible to achieve both the flexibility that can be achieved and the fluidity that does not cause contamination of the vacuum laminator.

The core layer composition that can form the
As the polypropylene that can be contained in the core layer composition in the above predetermined amount range, it is more preferable to use a homopolypropylene (homo PP) resin. Homo PP is a polymer composed only of polypropylene and has high crystallinity, and therefore has higher rigidity than block PP and random PP. By using this as an additive resin to the core layer composition, the dimensional stability of the
However, polypropylene has a rigidity much higher than that of low-density polyethylene having a density of 0.880 g / cm 3 or more and 0.940 g / cm 3 or less in any of the above structures. Therefore, for example, when polypropylene exceeding 40% by mass is added to the core layer composition exceeding the appropriate addition amount range, the physical properties of polypropylene in the

For the skin layer composition, low density polyethylene (LDPE) in the above density range, more preferably a copolymer of ethylene and α-olefin, and linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) in the above density range is used. be able to. By setting the type, density range, and content ratio of the adhesion component to the composition range described above, preferable flexibility can be imparted to the sealing
The skin layer composition preferably contains silane-modified polyethylene at a predetermined ratio. The amount of grafting that is the content of the ethylenically unsaturated silane compound is such that the amount of grafting of the ethylenically unsaturated silane compound with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyethylene resin forming the skin layer is, for example, 0.001 part by mass or more and 15 parts by mass or less. Preferably, it may be appropriately adjusted so that it is 0.05 parts by mass or less, more preferably 0.1 parts by mass or more and 1.0 part by mass or less. When the content of the ethylenically unsaturated silane compound is large, the mechanical strength and the heat resistance are excellent. However, when the content is excessive, the tensile elongation and the heat fusion property tend to be inferior.
The silane-modified polyethylene resin can be produced, for example, by the method described in JP-A-2003-46105. By using the resin as a component of a sealing material composition for a solar cell module, strength and durability can be increased. In addition, it has excellent weather resistance, heat resistance, water resistance, light resistance, wind pressure resistance, yield resistance, and other characteristics, and also affects manufacturing conditions such as thermocompression bonding for manufacturing solar cell modules. It is possible to manufacture solar cell modules that have extremely excellent heat-sealability without being received, that are stable, low-cost, and suitable for various applications.
Examples of ethylenically unsaturated silane compounds to be graft polymerized with linear low density polyethylene include, for example, vinyltrimethoxysilane, vinyltriethoxysilane, vinyltripropoxysilane, vinyltriisopropoxysilane, vinyltributoxysilane, vinyltripentyloxysilane , One or more selected from vinyltriphenoxysilane, vinyltribenzyloxysilane, vinyltrimethylenedioxysilane, vinyltriethylenedioxysilane, vinylpropionyloxysilane, vinyltriacetoxysilane, and vinyltricarboxysilane be able to.

耐候層を形成する基材としては、耐加水分解性ポリエチレンテレフタレート(耐加水分解性PET)、PCTFE(ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン)、PFA(テトラフルオロエチレンパーフルオロアルキルビニル・エステル共重合体)、PTFE(ポリテトラフルオロエチレン)、ETFE(四フッ化エチレン・エチレン共重合体)、PVDF(ポリフッ化ビニリデン)等のフッ素系樹脂等の樹脂シート、或いは、アルミニウムシート等が好ましく例示される。

The heating rate was 5 ° C./min, and the temperature was raised from room temperature to 166 ° C. FIG. 5 is a graph showing the relationship between the temperature (° C.) in the TMA test of each sealing material-integrated back protective sheet and the depth (%) of pushing the needle into the sealing material sheet with respect to the thickness of the sealing material sheet. Indicates. Table 1 also shows the temperature (° C.) when the ratio (%) of the needle indentation depth is 50% (indicated as T 50% in Tables 1 and 2) and the ratio of the needle indentation depth ( %) Represents a temperature T 90% (° C.) at 90% (indicated as T 90% in Tables 1 and 2). In Table 1, the

From Table 2, the solar cell module evaluation sample integrated by heat laminating at a temperature (° C.) of T 50% (° C.) or more and T 90% (° C.) or less is a laminator contamination evaluation test and a solar cell. In each element protection performance evaluation test, the evaluation is “◯”. From the results of this test, the solar cell module was manufactured by the method for determining the lamination temperature of the present invention, so that the solar cell element was cracked in the thermal laminating process in which the sealing material sheet and other members were integrated by heating. It can be seen that both the flexibility that can be prevented and the fluidity that does not cause contamination of the vacuum laminator can be achieved.
