Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire.
Conventionally, a pneumatic tire in which a hole is formed in a block on a tread surface is known (see, for example,
However, all of the conventional pneumatic tires are insufficient in reducing pattern noise generated during traveling. In particular, there is a problem that the peak noise of the hitting sound generated when the block collides with the road surface cannot be reduced.
This invention makes it a subject to provide the pneumatic tire which can reduce pattern noise, especially the peak noise of an impact sound.
As a means for solving the above problems, the present invention provides:
A plurality of blocks formed by a plurality of main grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction and a plurality of lateral grooves extending in the tire width direction;
Each of the blocks is formed so that there is no gap in the tire width direction when a plurality of holes are shifted in the tire circumferential direction and projected in the tire circumferential direction in the central area excluding the peripheral area of the contact surface. Provide pneumatic tires.
With this configuration, when the block collides with the road surface, the frequency component of the impact sound generated from the block can be made different in the tire width direction. That is, the plurality of holes are not only arranged in a phase shifted in the tire circumferential direction but also formed so as not to have a gap in the tire width direction when projected in the tire circumferential direction. For this reason, it is difficult to generate the frequency component of the impact sound according to the block length in the tire width direction. That is, it is possible to disperse the frequency component of the hit sound and prevent the peak value of the specific frequency component from increasing.
The total value of the volume of the holes is preferably in the range of 5% to 25% of the volume of the central region of the block.
The total opening area of the holes on the ground contact surface of the block is preferably in the range of 5% to 25% of the area of the central region of the block.
With these configurations, it can be prevented that the total value of the hole volume and the opening area is too small to sufficiently disperse the frequency component of the hitting sound. Conversely, the total value of the hole volume and opening area is too large to prevent the block from obtaining the desired rigidity, or the occurrence of a new striking sound frequency component to prevent noise from becoming noticeable. it can.
The depth of the hole is preferably in the range of 10% to 90% of the block height.
It is preferable that the hole is formed deeper as it is closer to the lateral groove.
With this configuration, it is possible to suppress the generation of a striking sound by weakening the rigidity of the block in the vicinity of the lateral groove.
The hole is preferably inclined with respect to the tire radial direction.
With this configuration, the position where the hole opens and the position where the rigidity of the block is reduced can be freely changed according to the shape of the block.
According to the present invention, the hole formed in the block is formed so that the phase is shifted in the tire circumferential direction and no gap is generated in the tire width direction when projected in the tire circumferential direction. It is possible to disperse the frequency component of the impact sound generated when the vehicle collides with the tire in the tire width direction. In addition, a so-called peak value in which a specific frequency component becomes large is less likely to occur.
Embodiments according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In addition, the following description is only illustrations essentially and does not intend restrict | limiting this invention, its application thing, or its use. Further, the drawings are schematic, and the ratio of each dimension is different from the actual one.
FIG. 1 is a partial development view in which the tread pattern of the
A plurality of

The arrangement patterns of the
As shown in Table 1, with respect to the pneumatic tire having the

As is clear from Table 1, the noise could be reduced most in Example 2 in which the randomness of the arrangement pattern of the
The present invention is not limited to the configuration described in the embodiment, and various modifications can be made.
In the above-described embodiment, the opening shape of the
Moreover, the cross-sectional shape of the
Moreover, you may make it form the
