Abstract
Description
Embodiments described herein relate generally to a moisture barrier and a radiation detector.
A radiation detector such as an X-ray detector is provided with an array substrate having a scintillator layer for converting radiation into fluorescence and a photoelectric conversion element for converting fluorescence into signal charges.
In some cases, a reflective layer is further provided on the scintillator layer in order to improve the use efficiency of fluorescence and improve sensitivity characteristics.
Here, the scintillator layer and the reflective layer need to be isolated from the external atmosphere in order to suppress degradation of resolution characteristics due to water vapor or the like. In particular, when the scintillator layer is made of CsI (cesium iodide): Tl (thallium), CsI: Na (sodium), or the like, there is a risk that resolution characteristics are greatly deteriorated due to water vapor or the like.
Therefore, a metal moisture-proof body that has a hat shape and covers the scintillator layer and the reflective layer has been proposed as a structure that can obtain high moisture-proof performance.
If the scintillator layer and the reflective layer are covered with a hat-shaped moisture-proof body, and the collar portion of the moisture-proof body is bonded to the substrate of the array substrate, high moisture-proof performance can be obtained.
Here, if the amount of the adhesive applied to the collar portion is excessively increased, the adhesive may protrude from the outer peripheral edge of the collar portion to the outside, making it difficult to connect the flexible printed circuit board.
On the other hand, there is a problem that the adhesive is difficult to reach the corners of the collar (four corners of the collar).
Therefore, if the amount of the adhesive is simply reduced, the amount of the adhesive at the corner portion becomes too small, and the adhesive strength at the corner portion may be lowered. When the adhesive strength at the corner portion is lowered, the corner portion is likely to be peeled off, and as a result, the moisture-proof performance may be significantly lowered.
Therefore, it has been desired to develop a technique capable of improving the adhesive strength at the corner portion and suppressing the protrusion of the adhesive from the collar portion.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a moisture-proof body and a radiation detector capable of improving the adhesive strength at the corner and suppressing the protrusion of the adhesive from the collar.

On the other hand, there is a problem that the adhesive is difficult to spread on the corner portion 7c2 of the
Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, a guide portion 7c1 is provided on the
The guide portion 7c1 is filled with an adhesive before curing. Therefore, the

That is, the guide portion 7c1 is formed by projecting a part of the surface of the
The guide portion 7c1 can be formed, for example, by subjecting an aluminum foil or aluminum alloy foil to press working (embossing) using a press stamping die.
The guide portion 7c1 can also be formed at the same time when the
That is, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the planar shape of the guide portion 7c1 can be a straight line extending along the outer peripheral edges 7c3 and 7c4 of the
If such a guide part 7c1 is provided, it can suppress that the adhesive agent before hardening protrudes outside from the outer periphery 7c3, 7c4 of the
Moreover, the adhesive agent before hardening can be guide | induced to the corner part 7c2 by the guide part 7c1. Therefore, since the adhesive before curing can be supplied to the corner portion 7c2 where the adhesive is difficult to spread, the strength of the
2 and 7 exemplify the guide portion 7c1 extending in parallel to the outer peripheral edges 7c3 and 7c4 of the
For example, it can be set as the guide part 7c1 which inclines and extends with respect to the outer periphery 7c3, 7c4 of the
In this case, as shown to Fig.8 (a), it can be set as the guide part 7c1 which inclines in the direction approaching the outer periphery 7c3, 7c4 of the
If it does in this way, it will become easy to spread an adhesive to the outer periphery of corner part 7c2.
Moreover, as shown to FIG. 8B, it can be set as the guide part 7c1 which inclines in the direction away from the outer periphery 7c3 of the
In this way, it is possible to suppress the adhesive from protruding outside the corner portion 7c2.
Moreover, you may make it provide both the guide part 7c1 which inclines in the direction approaching the outer periphery 7c3, 7c4 of the
In addition, the presence / absence of the inclination, the inclination direction, the inclination angle, the combination of the guide portions 7c1 having different forms, and the like can be appropriately changed depending on the viscosity of the adhesive before curing.
Moreover, the number of the guide parts 7c1 is not necessarily limited to what was illustrated. The number of guide portions 7c1 can be appropriately changed depending on, for example, the viscosity of the adhesive before curing.
There is no particular limitation on the cross-sectional shape of the guide portion 7c1 in the direction orthogonal to the direction in which the guide portion 7c1 extends.
For example, the cross-sectional shape of the guide portion 7c1 can be an arc shape illustrated in FIG.
There is no limitation in particular in the cross-sectional dimension of the guide part 7c1.
The cross-sectional dimension of the guide portion 7c1 may be constant or may vary.
For example, the cross-sectional dimension of the guide portion 7c1 may increase gradually, increase stepwise, decrease stepwise, or decrease stepwise toward the corner portion 7c2.
The cross-sectional shape and cross-sectional dimensions of the guide portion 7c1 can be appropriately changed depending on the viscosity of the adhesive before curing.
As shown in FIG. 7, the end portion 7c1a of the guide portion 7c1 does not open to the outer peripheral edges 7c3 and 7c4 of the
For example, the end portion 7c1a of the guide portion 7c1 can be located at a position farther from the corner portion 7c2 than the position of the peripheral edge 7b1 of the
Moreover, as shown to Fig.9 (a), the edge part 7c1a of the guide part 7c1 can be made perpendicular | vertical with respect to the
As shown in FIG. 9B, the end portion 7c1a of the guide portion 7c1 can be inclined with respect to the
The amount of adhesive supplied to the corner portion 7c2 can be controlled by at least one of the position of the end portion 7c1a of the guide portion 7c1 and the inclination angle of the end portion 7c1a.
Moreover, you may make it adjust the viscosity of an adhesive agent according to the form of the guide part 7c1, the position of the edge part 7c1a, the form of the edge part 7c1a, the number of the guide parts 7c1, and the like. In this case, the viscosity of the adhesive can be adjusted by, for example, irradiating the ultraviolet curable adhesive with ultraviolet rays. The thermosetting adhesive can be heated to adjust the viscosity of the adhesive.
