Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a top guide for guiding a fishing line, a fishing rod provided with the top guide, and a guide frame for the top guide.
There are various types of so-called outer guide type fishing rods in which a fishing line guide for guiding the fishing line is mounted on the outside of the fishing rod. A large force acts on the fishing line guide from the fishing line. Therefore, the fishing line guide is required to have a strength that can withstand the force from the fishing line. On the other hand, since the weight of the fishing line guide greatly affects the weight of the entire fishing rod, weight reduction is also required. In particular, the top guide that is most worn on the tip has a great influence on the sensitivity and tone of the tip, and thus is required to be light while ensuring the necessary strength.
In order to ensure the strength, it is advantageous to use a metal guide frame for holding the guide ring. For example, a conventional metal top guide includes a guide ring and a metal frame for holding the guide ring. Furthermore, a metal pipe separate from the frame is provided. The pipe is for attaching to the housing, and the housing is inserted and fixed inside. The frame is formed by punching a thin metal plate into a predetermined shape and then bending it. From the ring-shaped ring holding portion that holds the guide ring and the lower end that is the portion of the ring holding portion close to the casing A connecting piece portion extending and a bridge portion extending rearward from the ring holding portion are provided. And the front-end | tip part of the connection piece part of a flame | frame is inserted in the front-end opening part of a pipe, it joins by brazing, and the rear-end part of a bridge | bridging part is brazed to the outer peripheral surface of a pipe.
However, in such a conventional top guide, the joint portion between the bridge portion of the frame and the pipe and the joint portion portion between the frame and the pipe are easily corroded, and the strength is likely to decrease due to secular change. There is a problem. In addition, there is a problem that fishing lines are likely to be entangled with these joint portions. Furthermore, since the frame is formed from a metal plate and is brazed to a separate pipe, it is difficult to reduce the weight without reducing the strength.
Therefore, the present invention provides a top guide, a fishing rod, and a guide frame that can solve the problems such as corrosion and thread entanglement that occur at the joint portion between members, and can further reduce the weight while ensuring the necessary strength. The task is to do.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and a top guide according to the present invention is a top guide that is mounted and fixed to the tip of a housing, and includes a guide ring for guiding a fishing line, and the guide ring. A metal guide frame for holding the guide ring, and the guide frame is formed with a rod insertion hole having a longer dimension in the axial direction than the diameter, and the frame is inserted and fixed in the rod insertion hole. And a ring holding portion in which a ring mounting hole is formed to hold the guide ring on the wall surface of the ring mounting hole, and the guide frame is integrally formed by forging. To do.
The guide frame of the top guide having such a configuration is formed by forging, and the ring holding portion and the attaching portion are integrally formed by forging. Since the guide frame is made of a single member, there is no need to braze the ring holding portion and the mounting portion, and there is no brazed joint portion. Moreover, the metal used as a material is struck by forging, and strength is increased. Therefore, the thickness can be reduced, and the metal is hit by forging to reduce the thickness. Therefore, the strength can be ensured even if the thickness is thin. In particular, since the attachment portion can be formed thinly, the step between the outer surface of the housing inserted and fixed in the attachment insertion hole of the attachment portion and the outer surface of the attachment portion can be reduced, and a fishing line is formed at the step. It can also prevent entanglement. And even if the mounting part has a structure having a flange insertion hole in this way, the ring holding part and the mounting part are integrally formed while being struck by casting. Therefore, it is possible to achieve both weight reduction and strength ensuring.
In particular, the front end of the heel insertion hole is preferably open. That is, it is preferable that the scissors insertion hole is a through hole with both ends open, and even if the mounting portion is thin and the scissor insertion hole has a small diameter, the scissors insertion hole can be formed with high accuracy, and as a result, the mounting portion is thin. The guide frame of the top guide can be further reduced in weight.
In addition, the ring holding part extends from the front end part of the attachment part so as to circulate outward, and the ring attachment hole and the attachment part approach each other so that the wall surface of the ring attachment hole and the outer surface of the attachment part are continuous. It is preferable that the top guide can be made lighter and more compact. Even if the wall surface of the ring mounting hole and the outer surface of the mounting portion are continuous, forging is possible because it is forged and can be reduced in weight while ensuring strength.
Further, the radial direction of the lowermost part, which is the part closest to the mounting part, of the entire circumference of the ring holding part, rather than the radial thickness of the uppermost part, which is the part farthest from the mounting part, of the entire circumference of the ring holding part It is preferable that the thickness of the is thinner. The ring holding portion may be formed with a substantially uniform thickness over the entire circumference, but is preferably formed so as to be accompanied by a change in the thickness in the circumferential direction, which makes it easier to reduce the weight. And since the lowest part of a ring holding part is also the front-end part of an attaching part, intensity | strength can be ensured even if the lowest part of a ring holding part is made thinner than the uppermost part.
Furthermore, in a cross-sectional view when the guide frame is cut along a plane passing through the center line of the flange insertion hole and the center line of the ring mounting hole, the thickness of the portion on the ring mounting hole side of the mounting portion is It is preferable that the thickness gradually decreases toward the rear side except for the chamfered portion. Although the thickness of the mounting portion can be constant along the axial direction, the weight can be further reduced by changing the thickness along the axial direction, that is, the front-rear direction. Particularly, by gradually reducing the thickness of the portion on the ring mounting hole side of the mounting portion toward the rear side, the entire mounting portion can be reduced in weight while ensuring the strength of the front portion of the mounting portion.
Furthermore, in a cross-sectional view when the guide frame is cut along a plane passing through the center line of the flange insertion hole and the center line of the ring mounting hole, the thickness of the portion on the side opposite to the ring mounting hole of the mounting portion is It is preferable that the thickness is constant except for the chamfered portion and is equal to the thickness of the rear end portion of the mounting portion on the ring mounting hole side. As described above, the thickness of the portion on the ring mounting hole side of the mounting portion is gradually reduced toward the rear side, and the thickness of the thin rear end portion and the anti-ring mounting of the mounting portion By making the thickness of the hole side portion equal, the thickness of the portion of the mounting portion on the side opposite to the ring mounting hole is also reduced, and the weight can be further reduced. That is, the part on the ring mounting hole side of the mounting part is gradually thinned toward the rear side from the viewpoint of ensuring the continuity with the ring holding part and ensuring the strength, while the anti-ring of the mounting part. By reducing the thickness of the portion on the mounting hole side over the entire length, the mounting portion can be further reduced in weight, and as a result, the guide frame can be further reduced in weight.
The fishing rod according to the present invention includes such a fishing line guide.
Further, the guide frame of the fishing line guide according to the present invention is a guide frame of a top guide that is attached and fixed to the tip of the rod body, and has a rod insertion hole that is longer in the axial direction than the diameter. A mounting portion in which the housing is inserted and fixed in the flange insertion hole; and a ring holding portion in which a ring mounting hole is formed and holds the guide ring on the wall surface of the ring mounting hole, and the guide frame is made of metal. It is characterized by being integrally formed by forging.
As described above, since the guide frame having the ring holding portion having the guide mounting hole and the mounting portion having the flange insertion hole is integrally formed by forging, there is no joining portion such as a brazing portion. The occurrence of corrosion and yarn entanglement at the joint is prevented, and high strength can be maintained over a long period of time. In addition, since the guide frame is formed by forging, sufficient strength can be ensured even if the wall thickness is reduced, and the thickness can be changed. Therefore, the weight of the guide frame can be reduced as a whole. Strength can be secured.
Hereinafter, a top guide according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The top guide in this embodiment includes a
The
The
The
The
Further, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the thickness of the
More specifically, in the cross-sectional views shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the thickness of the portion on the
The
The thickness of the

A pair of left and right plate-shaped reinforcing

The top guide provided with the
Further, the
On the other hand, by providing the
Further, since the
In addition, since the left and right side portions of the rear surface of the
Even if the wall surface of the
In the present embodiment, the front end of the
