Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electrospinning apparatus using a molten resin as a raw material.
A technique for producing ultrafine fibers by an electrospinning method using a molten resin as a raw material is known. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses an extruder for extruding a molten resin material, a plurality of metal spinning nozzles for discharging the molten resin material extruded from the extruder to produce ultrafine fibers, and a plurality of the metal spinning fibers. An ultra-fine fiber manufacturing apparatus is described that includes a spinning section having a high-temperature air flow channel that is formed around each nozzle and flows a high-temperature air flow in a direction along the discharge direction of the molten resin material. According to this apparatus, since it is possible to slow down the rate at which the molten resin material discharged from the nozzle is cooled, it is possible to slow down the rate at which the viscosity of the molten resin material rises, and the smaller diameter. This document describes that it is possible to produce ultrafine fibers.
Apart from this technology, the applicant previously proposed an electrospinning apparatus having an electrode having a concave curved surface and a needle-like spinning solution discharge nozzle arranged so as to be surrounded by the concave curved surface of the electrode. did. This electrospinning apparatus has the advantages that productivity of nanofibers can be increased and space saving can be achieved.
In the electrospinning device, the charge distribution of the nozzles is dispersed for the purpose of increasing the charge amount of the nozzle, strengthening the electric field generated between the nozzle and the electrode, and increasing the charge amount of the raw material spun from the nozzle. It is advantageous to avoid this, and for that purpose it is desirable not to place any conductive parts, including heaters, in the vicinity of the electrodes used to charge the nozzles. It is necessary not to dispose a conductor part near the electrode or nozzle in order to prevent discharge between the electrode or nozzle and the conductor part. However, in the ultrafine fiber manufacturing apparatus described in Patent Document 1, since a heater is installed close to the spinning section, there is a limit to increasing the charge amount of the nozzle, and when the voltage applied to the nozzle is increased This increases the risk of discharge between the nozzle and the conductor portion of the heater.
In the electrospinning device described in
Therefore, the subject of this invention is providing the electrospinning apparatus which can eliminate the fault which the prior art mentioned above has.

According to the present invention, by disposing an electrically insulating portion in which a flow path for circulating the molten resin is formed between the molten resin discharge device and the nozzle, a higher voltage is applied to the electrode and the nozzle to thereby apply the nozzle. The amount of charge can be increased. Furthermore, the amount of electrification of the nozzle can be increased while maintaining the low viscosity of the molten resin by circulating the heated gas through the gas flow passage formed inside the electrically insulating portion. Due to the synergistic effect with the charge amount, finer fibers can be produced than before.
The present invention will be described below based on preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing the structure of one embodiment of the electrospinning apparatus of the present invention. An
A resin
As described above, gas is supplied from the gas supply source (not shown) installed outside the
Only one of the heating gas supply source and the room temperature gas supply source can be used, or both of them can be used. When both supply sources are used, these supply sources and the
The
The lower limit of the diameter of the through
The
The spinning
When the concave
The concave
It is preferable that the concave

As shown in FIG. 1, the spinning
The covering 33 is preferably made of a dielectric. By disposing the covering 33 made of a dielectric in contact with the concave

Among these, it is preferable to use at least one insulating material selected from alumina, bakelite, nylon, and vinyl chloride resin, and it is particularly preferable to use nylon. As the nylon, various polyamides such as 6 nylon and 66 nylon can be used. Moreover, a commercial item can also be used as nylon. As such a commercial item, MC nylon (trademark) is mentioned, for example. The dielectric used for the
The thickness of the dielectric exposed on the surface constituting the covering 33 is preferably 0.8 mm or more, and particularly preferably 8 mm or more. If it is thinner than this, the charge amount of the molten resin may not be increased. This thickness refers to the thickness of the cover 33 (equal to the thickness of the cover 33) when the

As shown in FIG. 1, an electrical insulating
The electrically insulating
In addition, the electrical insulating

The
By assembling the members constituting the
In the
The
When the high voltage
According to the
By the way, if the distance between the spinning
In order to reduce the viscosity of the molten resin in the

As shown in FIG. 1, the heated gas is introduced from a

Next, second to fourth embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. With respect to the points that are not particularly described with respect to these embodiments, the description in detail regarding the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is applied as appropriate. 3 to 6, the same members as those in FIGS. 1 and 2 are denoted by the same reference numerals.
In the second embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the manner in which the
Similar to the first embodiment, also in this embodiment, a high
In the present embodiment, unlike the first embodiment, a
The
The
The
According to the

Similar to the first and second embodiments, in this embodiment, a high
The
In addition to the
The spinning
The
According to the
Suppressing the temperature rise of the covering 33 during the operation of the
As described above, when the
The

The

The inner surface of the
