Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire.
In order to improve the steering stability of a tire, it is known to embed a reinforcing layer in a buttress portion or a sidewall portion located between a tread portion and a bead portion. As such a reinforcing layer, a rubber-nonwoven fabric composite formed by coating a nonwoven fabric with rubber may be used (for example, see
For example, Patent Document 1 discloses that a sidewall portion is embedded in a nonwoven fabric-rubber composite having a nonwoven fabric having a filament fiber and a rubber composition to increase the rigidity of the sidewall portion. A radial tire with improved handling stability is disclosed.
By embedding a reinforcing layer made of nonwoven fabric as described in
In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to improve the durability and steering stability of a tire while suppressing deterioration in fuel consumption performance associated with an increase in tire weight.
A pneumatic tire according to the present invention includes a pair of left and right beads including a bead core and a bead filler provided on an outer peripheral side of the bead core, a carcass ply spanned between the pair of beads, and an inner peripheral side of the carcass ply In the pneumatic tire having the inner liner disposed in the inner liner, the inner liner is partitioned into a gas permeable rubber portion and a composite portion in a tire meridian direction, and the gas permeable rubber portion is provided in the tread portion. The gas-permeable rubber is lower in gas permeability than the tread rubber, and the composite portion is formed by coating the gas-permeable rubber with a nonwoven fabric.
In the pneumatic tire of the present invention, the inner liner has a gas-resistant rubber part made of a gas-permeable rubber having a gas permeability lower than that of the tread rubber provided in the tread part, and the gas-resistant gas permeability of the nonwoven fabric. A composite part covered with rubber, and the composite part that constitutes a part of the inner liner serves as both a reinforcing layer for increasing rigidity and a gas permeation suppressing layer for maintaining the tire air pressure. Since it is not necessary to provide a gas permeation suppression layer separately from the layer, it is possible to improve durability and steering stability while suppressing deterioration in fuel efficiency associated with an increase in tire weight.
The pneumatic tire T of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is a pneumatic radial tire for passenger cars, and includes a tread portion 1 that constitutes a ground contact surface, a pair of left and
In the
In the tire T, a
As shown in FIG. 2, the
A
A
The
Inside the
The
The material of the nonwoven fabric used for the composite sheet constituting the
Moreover, the manufacturing method of a nonwoven fabric is not specifically limited, For example, the method of forming a web by a dry method, a wet method, a spun bond method, a melt blow method, an airlaid method etc. is mentioned. Examples of the fiber bonding method for the web include a chemical bond method, a thermal bond method, a needle punch method, and a hydroentanglement method.
The composite sheet preferably has a stress at 5% elongation in the unvulcanized stage of 5.0 MPa or more. When the stress at 5% elongation is 5.0 MPa or more, the effect of improving the steering stability can be enhanced. The stress at 5% elongation is more preferably 7.0 MPa or more. The upper limit of the stress at 5% elongation is not particularly limited, but is usually 10.0 MPa or less.
The basis weight (mass per unit area) of the composite sheet is preferably 50 to 300 g / m 2 . When the basis weight is 50 g / m 2 or more, a decrease in stress at 5% elongation can be suppressed. Moreover, the influence on tire mass can be suppressed because it is 300 g / m 2 or less. The basis weight of the nonwoven fabric itself (the basis weight of the nonwoven fabric before applying the rubber material) may be, for example, 10 to 100 g / m 2 or 20 to 60 g / m 2 . Further, the adhesion amount per unit area of the rubber composition may be, for example, 10 to 300 g / m 2 or 15 to 250 g / m 2 .
The thickness of the composite sheet is preferably, for example, 0.6 to 2.2 mm, and more preferably 0.8 to 1.8 mm.
In this example, the gas permeation-
The
Since the overlapping
The length L in the tire width direction of the overlapped
In addition, each said dimension value in this embodiment is a thing in the no-load normal state which mounted | wore the normal rim and filled the normal internal pressure. A regular rim is a rim determined for each tire in a standard system including a standard on which a tire is based. For example, a standard rim for JATMA, a “Design Rim” for TRA, or a rim for ETRTO. "Measuring Rim". In addition, the normal internal pressure is the air pressure defined by each standard for each tire in the standard system. If it is JATMA, it is the maximum air pressure, and if it is TRA, it is described in the table "TIRE LOAD LIMITS AT VARIOUS COLD INFLATION PRESSURES" If the maximum value is ETRTO, "INFLATION PRESSURE" is assumed.
According to the present embodiment having the above configuration, the
Moreover, in this embodiment, since the
In the present embodiment, the
In the present embodiment, the
As mentioned above, although this embodiment was described, this embodiment is shown as an example and is not intending limiting the range of invention. These novel embodiments can be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, replacements, and changes can be made without departing from the scope of the invention.
EXAMPLES Hereinafter, although an Example demonstrates this invention further more concretely, this invention is not limited to these Examples.

About each obtained tire, durability, handling stability, air permeation resistance, and tire weight were measured and evaluated. The results are shown in Tables 1 and 2. Each measurement evaluation method is as follows.
(1) Durability In accordance with the conditions defined in the US automobile safety standard FMVSS139 as a durability test, the test was performed using a drum testing machine made of steel with a smooth surface and having a diameter of 1700 mm. The tire internal pressure is 220 kPa, the speed is 120 km / h, the load is based on the maximum load specified by JATMA, the load is 85% for 4 hours, the load 90% for 6 hours, the load 100% for 24 hours, and the air pressure reduced to 160 kPa. And run for 100 hours at a load of 100%. Thereafter, the vehicle was run for 6 hours at a speed of 81 km / h, an internal pressure of 220 kPa, and a load of 120%. Thereafter, the load was set to 140%, and the test tire was run until a failure occurred. The distance traveled until the failure occurred was indexed with the tire of Comparative Example 1 as 100. The larger the number, the longer the distance until failure occurs and the better the durability.
(2) Steering stability A test tire incorporated with an internal pressure of 220 kPa was mounted on a 2000 cc domestic sedan, and three trained test drivers ran through the test course for sensory evaluation. The scoring was based on a 10-point evaluation, and relative comparison was performed with the tire of Comparative Example 1 as 6 points, and the average score of 3 people was displayed as an index with the tire of Comparative Example 1 as 100. The larger the number, the better the steering stability.
(3) Gas permeation resistance Standard tires with a standard internal pressure are left in a temperature-controlled room for one month, then the internal pressure is measured, and the ratio (air retention) to the initial internal pressure is 97% or more. If it was less than 97%, it was evaluated as “X”.
(4) Tire Weight The weight of the obtained tire was measured and displayed as an index with the tire weight of Conventional Example 1 having no side reinforcing layer as 100. A smaller number indicates a lighter weight.
The results are as shown in Table 1. In the example, durability and steering stability were improved as compared with Comparative Example 1 while ensuring air permeation resistance comparable to that of Comparative Example 1. Further, the weight increase was also improved with respect to Conventional Example 2.
