Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a thickness measuring method, a thickness measuring system, and a laminate manufacturing method.
Conventionally, it has been required to accurately measure the thickness of each layer of a laminate in which a plurality of layers are laminated. In the laminate, each layer may have a different composition, property, film thickness, and the like.
Examples of the method for measuring the thickness of each layer include a method of measuring the thickness every time each layer is formed, and calculating based on the difference between the thickness after lamination and the thickness before lamination. However, such a method is not simple because it is necessary to measure the thickness a plurality of times. For example, when a film thickness is to be measured in-line on a line for manufacturing a laminate, the thickness measurement is performed every time the step of forming each layer is completed. Therefore, it is necessary to provide an apparatus for layer formation and thickness measurement for each layer, which is not preferable because the production line becomes longer, the production apparatus becomes larger, or the production apparatus costs increase.
As a method for measuring the thickness of each layer of the laminated body, for example,
In recent years, the performance required for a laminate is diversified, and control of the film thickness of each layer has become important. Therefore, it is desired to improve the measurement accuracy of the thickness of each layer in the laminate.
An object of the present invention is to provide a thickness measurement method, a thickness measurement system, and a laminate manufacturing method that can improve the measurement accuracy of the thickness of each layer in the laminate.
In the thickness measurement method according to an embodiment of the present invention, a difference in refractive index between adjacent layers of a laminate having a plurality of layers is set to 0.020 or more, and the thickness of each layer is set using a spectral interference method. It is characterized by measuring.
In a thickness measurement system according to an embodiment of the present invention, a laminate having a refractive index difference between adjacent layers of 0.020 or more, a light source that irradiates light to the laminate, and a reflection from the laminate. It has a spectroscope for spectrally separating light, and an analyzer for analyzing a waveform dispersed by the spectroscope.
A manufacturing method of a layered product concerning one embodiment of the present invention is characterized by laminating a plurality of layers so that a refractive index difference between adjacent layers may be 0.020 or more.
According to the thickness measurement method according to an embodiment of the present invention, the refractive index difference between adjacent layers of the laminate is set to 0.020 or more, and the thickness of each layer is measured using a spectral interference method. Measurement accuracy can be improved.
Moreover, according to the thickness measurement system which concerns on one Embodiment of this invention, the light from a light source is irradiated to the laminated body whose refractive index difference between adjacent layers is 0.020 or more, and the reflected light is a spectrometer. , And the analyzed waveform is analyzed with an analyzer. Therefore, the measurement accuracy of the thickness of each layer of the laminate can be improved.
Moreover, according to the manufacturing method of the laminated body which concerns on one Embodiment of this invention, in order to laminate | stack a several layer so that the refractive index difference between adjacent each layer may be 0.020 or more, The accuracy when measuring the thickness of each layer by the spectral interference method can be improved.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to embodiments. The present invention is not limited to the contents of the embodiment.

The
The thickness of the substrate is preferably 3 μm or more and 5 mm or less, more preferably 5 μm or more and 3 mm or less, and particularly preferably 10 μm or more and 1 mm or less. If the thickness of the base material is less than 3 μm, the heat resistance and tensile strength are inferior because it is thin, and there is a risk of stretching or breaking due to heat treatment or tension in the lamination process. It may be inferior to handling in When the thickness of the substrate exceeds 5 mm, the winding diameter is limited by the space of the winding portion of the processing machine when winding in a roll shape because the thickness is large, and the required length cannot be obtained, Since the stiffness of the material is strong and the flexibility is poor, the handling property in the processing process may be hindered or the substrate may not be wound up neatly due to the repulsion of the base material.

According to the thickness measurement method and the

FIG. 4 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of the laminate 1A according to the present embodiment.

About the laminated body of Example 1- Example 12, the refractive index difference of adjacent layers was set to 0.020 or more, and the film thickness measurement by the spectral interference system was performed. As a result, as shown in Table 2, in Examples 1 to 12, the thickness measured by observing the cross section of each layer and the thickness measured by the thickness measuring device were almost the same. On the other hand, in the laminate of Comparative Example 1, the refractive index difference between adjacent layers was less than 0.020. As a result, the thickness measured by cross-sectional observation of each layer did not match the thickness measured by the thickness measuring device. Presumably, the total thickness of the composition D layer and the composition E layer is measured.
From these results, it was found that if the refractive index difference between adjacent layers was set to 0.020 or more and the film thickness was measured by the spectral interference method, the thickness of each layer in the laminate could be easily measured.
FIG. 5 is a graph showing the relationship between the refractive index difference and the deviation rate from the measured value. As shown in FIG. 5, if there is a refractive index difference of 0.020 or more, the deviation rate from the actual measurement value is very accurate compared to the case of a refractive index difference of less than 0.020. Is possible. As the refractive index difference increases, the deviation rate tends to decrease.
