Abstract
【解決手段】 ビデオ復号化方法は、符号化単位のサイズを決定するための符号化単位サイズ情報及び前記符号化単位の分割可能回数を指示する最大深度をビットストリームから抽出する段階と、前記符号化単位サイズ情報及び前記最大深度を用いて映像から分割された複数の最大符号化単位を決定する段階と、前記複数の最大符号化単位のうち現在最大符号化単位が分割されるか否かを示す分割情報を、前記ビットストリームから抽出する段階と、前記分割情報及び前記符号化単位サイズ情報のうち少なくとも一つに基づき、前記最大符号化単位から分割された符号化単位のうちこれ以上分割されない符号化単位を含む階層構造の符号化単位を決定する段階と、前記これ以上分割されない符号化単位から決定された一つ以上の予測単位に対して予測を行う段階と、前記これ以上分割されない符号化単位から決定された一つ以上の変換単位に対して逆変換を行う段階とを含む。

現在符号化単位で可能な最小変換単位サイズ‘CurrMinTuSize’と比較して、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである‘RootTuSize’は、システム上採択可能な最大変換単位サイズを表す。すなわち、関係式(1)によれば、‘RootTuSize/(2^MaxTransformSizeIndex)’は、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである‘RootTuSize’を、最大変換単位分割情報に相応する回数ほど分割した変換単位サイズであり、‘MinTransformSize’は最小変換単位サイズであるため、これらのうち小さな値が、現在現在符号化単位で可能な最小変換単位サイズ‘CurrMinTuSize’でありうる。

すなわち、現在予測モードがインターモードならば、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである‘RootTuSize’は、最大変換単位サイズ及び現在予測単位サイズのうち小さな値に設定される。

Claims (2)
- ビデオ復号化方法において、
符号化単位のサイズを決定するための符号化単位サイズ情報及び前記符号化単位の分割可能回数を指示する最大深度をビットストリームから抽出する段階と、
前記符号化単位サイズ情報及び前記最大深度を用いて映像から分割された複数の最大符号化単位を決定する段階と、
前記複数の最大符号化単位のうち現在最大符号化単位が分割されるか否かを示す分割情報を、前記ビットストリームから抽出する段階と、
前記分割情報及び前記符号化単位サイズ情報のうち少なくとも一つに基づき、前記最大符号化単位から分割された符号化単位のうちこれ以上分割されない符号化単位を含む階層構造の符号化単位を決定する段階と、
前記これ以上分割されない符号化単位から決定された一つ以上の予測単位に対して予測を行う段階と、
前記これ以上分割されない符号化単位から決定された一つ以上の変換単位に対して逆変換を行う段階とを含み、
前記最大符号化単位は、前記分割情報によって、現在深度及び下位深度を含む少なくとも一つの深度の符号化単位で階層的に分割され、
前記現在深度の符号化単位のための分割情報が分割されることを示す時、前記現在深度の符号化単位は、周辺符号化単位と独立して、前記下位深度の符号化単位で分割され、
前記現在深度の符号化単位のための分割情報が分割されないことを示したり、前記現在深度の符号化単位のサイズが前記符号化単位の最小サイズと同一である時、前記現在深度の符号化単位と同一の形態または前記現在深度の符号化単位の高さ及び幅のうち少なくとも一つが分割された形態を有する前記一つ以上の予測単位が前記現在深度の符号化単位から決定され、前記現在深度の符号化単位から前記一つ以上の変換単位が決定され、
前記最大符号化単位から前記最大深度ほど分割された符号化単位が前記最小符号化単位であることを特徴とするビデオ復号化方法。 - ビデオ復号化装置において、
符号化単位のサイズを決定するための符号化単位サイズ情報及び前記符号化単位の分割可能回数を指示する最大深度をビットストリームから抽出し、前記符号化単位サイズ情報及び前記最大深度を用いて映像から分割された複数の最大符号化単位を決定する最大符号化単位決定部と、
前記複数の最大符号化単位のうち現在最大符号化単位が分割されるか否かを示す分割情報を前記ビットストリームから抽出し、前記分割情報及び前記符号化単位サイズ情報のうち少なくとも一つに基づき、前記最大符号化単位から分割された符号化単位のうちこれ以上分割されない符号化単位を含む階層構造の符号化単位を決定する符号化単位決定部と、
前記これ以上分割されない符号化単位から決定された一つ以上の予測単位に対して予測を行う予測部と、
前記これ以上分割されない符号化単位から決定された一つ以上の変換単位に対して逆変換を行う逆変換部を備え、
前記最大符号化単位は前記分割情報によって、現在深度及び下位深度を含む少なくとも一つの深度の符号化単位で階層的に分割され、
前記現在深度の符号化単位のための分割情報が分割されることを示す時、前記現在深度の符号化単位は、周辺符号化単位と独立して、前記下位深度の符号化単位で分割され、
前記現在深度の符号化単位のための分割情報が分割されないことを示したり、前記現在深度の符号化単位のサイズが前記符号化単位の最小サイズと同一である時、前記現在深度の符号化単位と同一の形態または前記現在深度の符号化単位の高さ及び幅のうち少なくとも一つが分割された形態を有する前記一つ以上の予測単位が前記現在深度の符号化単位から決定され、前記現在深度の符号化単位から前記一つ以上の変換単位が決定され、
前記最大符号化単位から前記最大深度ほど分割された符号化単位が前記最小符号化単位であることを特徴とするビデオ復号化装置。
