Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a trunnion for a toroidal-type continuously variable transmission that can be used in transmissions of automobiles and various industrial machines.
For example, a double-cavity toroidal continuously variable transmission used as a transmission for an automobile is configured as shown in FIGS. As shown in FIG. 2, an input shaft 1 is rotatably supported inside a
The input shaft 1 is driven to rotate by a
The
A
3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. As shown in FIG. 3, a pair of
A
Further, the
The
Further, between the outer surface of the
The thrust needle bearing 25 is sandwiched between the inner surface of the
Further, driving rods (trunnion shafts) 29 and 29 are provided at one end portions (lower end portions in FIG. 3) of the
In the case of the toroidal continuously variable transmission configured as described above, the rotation of the input shaft 1 is transmitted to the
When changing the rotational speed ratio between the input shaft 1 and the output gear 4, the pair of
As a result, the
As a result, the contact position between the
By the way, in the toroidal-type continuously variable transmission having the above-described configuration, power transmission between the
Further, the thrust ball bearing (thrust bearing) 24 provided on the
Conventionally, the supply of lubricating oil to the traction surface and bearings (thrust
For example, in the case of a crank trunnion as shown in FIG. 4, the

The
The
By the way, in the
That is, an
In addition, when the diameters of the

Furthermore, since the
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a trunnion for a toroidal continuously variable transmission that can reduce the processing cost and labor of an oil passage and can improve the strength of the trunnion. And
To achieve the above object, the trunnion of the toroidal type continuously variable transmission of the present invention is a trunnion that rotatably supports a power roller sandwiched between an input side disk and an output side disk.
A plurality of linear oil passages for supplying lubricating oil to the power roller side are provided inside the trunnion,
The plurality of oil passages are arranged in parallel.
In the present invention, a plurality of linear oil passages that are provided inside the trunnion and supply lubricating oil to the power roller side are arranged in parallel. When drilling, the trunnion need not be re-chucked to the machine tool and can be done by the same chucking, so that the labor of machining can be reduced as compared with the conventional case.
The said structure of this invention WHEREIN: It is preferable that the said some oil path arrange | positioned in parallel is connected by one linear introduction oil path for introducing lubricating oil into the inside of a trunnion.
According to such a configuration, since a plurality of oil passages arranged in parallel for supplying lubricating oil to the power roller side are connected by one introduction oil passage, unlike the conventional case, lubrication is performed on the power roller side. It is not necessary to drill an oil passage for connecting to an oil passage for supplying oil with a long length from the other end surface (for example, the upper end surface) of the trunnion in the axial direction of the pivot, for example, one end portion (for example, the lower end of the trunnion) The introduction oil passage may be drilled from the part.
Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the labor required for drilling the oil passage connected to the oil passage for supplying the lubricating oil to the power roller side as compared to the conventional case, and to the vertical direction parallel to the axial direction of the pivot, which has been conventionally required. Since it is not necessary to pierce a long oil passage, the strength of the trunnion can be improved.
Moreover, since it is not necessary to pierce the oil passage that is long in the vertical direction from the other end surface (for example, the upper end surface) of the trunnion, a plug for closing the end portion of the oil passage is unnecessary. Therefore, the cost can be reduced accordingly.
In the configuration of the present invention, it is preferable that the plurality of oil passages arranged in parallel have the same diameter.
According to such a configuration, since the plurality of oil passages can be drilled with a tool such as a drill having the same diameter, it is possible to save the trouble of exchanging the tool.
According to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the processing cost and processing time of the oil passage and to improve the strength of the trunnion.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
The feature of the trunnion of the toroidal type continuously variable transmission of this embodiment is the configuration of the oil passage provided therein, and the other configuration and operation are the configuration of the conventional (crank) trunnion shown in FIG. Since the operation is substantially the same, hereinafter, only the characteristic part of this embodiment will be referred to, and the other parts will be simply described with the same reference numerals as those in FIG.

As described above, in the present embodiment, the two
Further, since the
Furthermore, since the two
