Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a gas turbine intake air filter that collects particulates in a gas.
2. Description of the Related Art An air filter used as an intake filter for a gas turbine is conventionally known. The air filter is installed in a filter chamber provided on the upstream side of the gas turbine, and collects particulates such as dust in the air flowing by intake air.
Conventionally, it is known that several types of air filters having different collection performances are installed along the flow of airflow to perform intake. For example, in a two-stage type equipped with two types of air filters, a coarse filter for collecting coarse dust is arranged on the upstream side, and a medium performance filter for collecting smaller dust is arranged on the downstream side. Is done. Further, in order to further improve the collection performance, a three-stage type in which a high-performance filter that collects dust of a smaller size is disposed downstream of the medium performance filter is also known. According to the three-stage system, it is possible to prevent dust from adhering to and contaminating the air compressor blades installed on the downstream side of the filter chamber, thereby preventing a decrease in power generation output.
However, in the three-stage type, the number of attachment points of the air filter is increased by one stage compared to the two-stage type, so that the filter chamber becomes larger or needs to be modified if an original two-stage type is added. Or a large capital investment is required.
On the other hand, a composite high-performance filter in which two types of air filters having different collection performances are combined into one air filter is known. For example, a medium performance filter and a high performance filter are combined as one air filter. Such a composite high-performance filter is widely used because it can improve the performance without enlarging or modifying the filter chamber.
However, the conventional composite high-performance filter uses two types of medium and high-performance filter media stacked on top of each other, so that a space is created between the two filter media and the overall thickness increases, resulting in pressure loss due to this. May increase. For this reason, in recent years, it has been difficult to achieve a high level of lower pressure loss and longer life required for an intake filter. In view of such a situation, it is known to use a two-layer filter medium obtained by combining two kinds of filter media into a single filter medium.
For example, air filters described in Patent Documents 1 to 3 have already been proposed as composite high-performance filters provided with this type of two-layer papermaking filter medium. Patent Document 1 discloses a two-layer filter medium in which a glass fiber filter medium and a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) filter medium are combined.
Since the filter media described in Patent Document 1 and
On the other hand, since the filter medium of

The air filter 1 is attached to a filter chamber (not shown) provided on the upstream side of an air compressor of a gas turbine, and collects particulates such as dust in the air when air supplied to the compressor passes therethrough.

The glass fiber used for the
(a)上流層
(A) Upstream layer The
The
The
When the average fiber diameter of the
The
When the thickness is within this range, the amount of dust in the
(B) Downstream layer The
The
The

The basis weight, average fiber diameter, and thickness of the
As described above, the
In this embodiment, for example, after the
The combined
As described above, the

また樹脂製の構造体としては強度の観点からABS(アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン)樹脂などが用いられる。

The air filter 1 has a thickness of the
Since the air filter 1 is a V bank type air filter, the use of the two-layer filter material results in a structure compared to a separator-type air filter (described later) that also uses the two-layer filter material. By reducing the pressure loss, the overall pressure loss is reduced, so that the pressure loss can be reduced.
Only one air filter 1 may be installed in the filter chamber. The air filter 1 may be used in combination with one or a plurality of air filters having different performance and structure from the air filter 1. As air filters having different performances, for example, medium performance filters (filters with a colorimetric collection efficiency of 50% to 95%), coarse dust filters (gravimetric collection efficiency of 30% to 90%) Filter) and the like having a lower collection efficiency than the air filter 1. Examples of the air filter having a different structure include a separator type and a single header type described later.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to examples.
Example 1
As a raw material of the downstream layer of the filter medium, the mass ratio, SiO 2: 69.0~72.0%, Na 2 O: 10.5~12.0%, CaO: 5.0~7.0%,
The slurry A is supplied on a net (conveyor belt) that circulates in the paper machine so that the basis weight is 45 g / m 2, and the slurry B is supplied so that the basis weight is 75 g / m 2 . On the glass fiber, it dehydrated with the suction box of the paper machine, and after forming the paper paper with which each glass fiber of the slurry A and the slurry B was united, it dried with the dryer. After drying, the paper was immersed in a resin solution in which an acrylic resin as a binder and a water repellent were mixed, and then dehydrated and dried to obtain a filter medium having a basis weight of 120 g / m 2 . When the thickness of the obtained filter medium was measured, the upstream layer was 0.4 mm, the downstream layer was 0.35 mm, and the whole was 0.75 mm.
Next, the obtained filter medium was pleated with a reciprocating weaving machine so that the pitch was 2.9 mm, and a filter medium having an outside dimension of 592 mm long × 280 mm wide × 20 mm high was produced. The 16 filter media thus obtained were arranged in a zigzag shape, and fixed to a frame made of a galvanium steel plate having an external dimension of 594 mm in length, 594 mm in width, and 292 mm in height using polyurethane resin. A bank-type air filter was manufactured. The filter medium was bonded to the filter medium receiver using polyurethane resin.

About each filter medium of the above-mentioned Examples 1-6 and comparative examples 1-4, according to the method mentioned below, while obtaining each collection efficiency in an upstream layer, a downstream layer, and the whole, an air filter is mentioned below. According to the method, the pressure loss and the filter life were measured, the collection efficiency was obtained, and further comprehensive evaluation was performed. The results are shown in Tables 1 and 2.
(Filter pressure loss)
Set the air filter in the test rectangular duct, adjust the air flow so that the air volume is 56 m 3 / min, measure the pressure with the manometer upstream and downstream of the air filter, The pressure difference was obtained as the pressure loss due to the structure of the air filter. With respect to the filter performance of quasi-HEPA, the obtained pressure loss was evaluated as B when the pressure loss was less than 250 Pa, C when the pressure loss was less than 250 to 300 Pa, and D when the pressure loss was 300 Pa or more. Regarding the filter performance of HEPA, the obtained pressure loss was evaluated as B when the pressure loss was less than 300 Pa, C when the pressure loss was less than 300 to 400 Pa, and D when the pressure loss was 400 Pa or more.
(Filter life)
Set the air filter in the test rectangular duct, adjust the air flow so that the air volume is 71 m 3 / min, measure the time required to increase 686 Pa from the initial pressure loss, and make it the life of the air filter . As a result, the case where the lifetime was 1 year or more was evaluated as B, and the case where the lifetime was less than 1 year was evaluated as D.
CO=濾材が捕集したNaCl0.3μmの粒子数
CI=濾材に供給されたNaCl0.3μmの粒子数
(Filtering medium collection efficiency and filter collection efficiency)
According to the method described in JIS B9928 Annex 5 (normative) NaCl aerosol generation method (pressure spraying method), NaCl particles generated by an atomizer are reduced to 0.3 μm with an electrostatic classifier (manufactured by TSI). After classifying and neutralizing the particle charge using americium 241, the permeating flow rate is adjusted to 5.3 cm / second, and the number of particles before and after the filter medium is obtained using a particle counter (manufactured by TSI, CNC). The filter medium collection efficiency was calculated from the following equation.
Collection efficiency (%) = (CO / CI) × 100
CO = the number of NaCl 0.3 μm particles collected by the filter medium CI = the number of NaCl 0.3 μm particles fed to the filter medium Calculated. The case where the filter collection efficiency was 97% or more was evaluated as B, and the case where it was less than 97% was evaluated as D. It is considered that the higher the filter collection efficiency, the higher the effect of suppressing dirt on the compressor blades when the air filter is used as an intake filter for a gas turbine.
(Comprehensive evaluation)
In the three evaluation results of air filter pressure loss, collection efficiency, and life, when D is 1 or more, it is evaluated as D, when C is 1 it is evaluated as B, and when there is no D or C Rated A.
As shown in Table 1, in Examples 1 to 6, the average fiber diameter was 0.9 to 2.0 μm, and the collection efficiency of the upstream layer was 40 to 70%. The filter medium was not clogged immediately and the filter medium had a long life. The filter pressure loss was not particularly too high.
On the other hand, in Comparative Examples 1 and 3, as shown in Table 2, since the average fiber diameter of the upstream layer was larger than 2.0 μm and the collection efficiency was less than 40%, the downstream layer immediately clogged. The filter life was bad. In Comparative Examples 2 and 4, since the average fiber diameter of the upstream layer was less than 0.9 μm and the collection efficiency exceeded 70%, the upstream layer immediately clogged and the filter life was poor. Moreover, the filter pressure loss was slightly high.
