Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a power stabilization device.
2. Description of the Related Art A distributed energy system that supplies energy using a distributed power source using renewable energy such as solar power generation and wind power generation near a place that requires electric power due to environmental problems in recent years has attracted attention. In this system, a distributed power source and a power storage system are combined, and the power generation amount of the distributed power source is controlled in accordance with the demand situation, thereby maintaining a balanced state of generated power and power consumption.
By the way, the output of natural energy such as sunlight and wind power, which is being used as a distributed power source, varies due to the influence of the season or day and night. If the unbalanced state of generated power and power consumption continues due to control delays due to these fluctuations, the allowable voltage range of the DC main line connecting the distributed power source or power storage system (power generation source) and the electrical equipment (load) is increased. Since there is a risk of deviation, there is an increasing demand for a protection function against overvoltage and undervoltage of the DC trunk line.
For example, in
It is known that a charger or a discharger used in the battery system as described above causes an internal loss during its operation. However, in the battery system disclosed in
As described above, when the internal loss increases, the power discharged from the assembled battery also increases when the DC mains voltage is low, resulting in an excessive consumption of the storage capacity of the assembled battery. It was. In addition, when the DC mains voltage is overvoltage, the minimum power consumed by the charger also increases, and even when power balance is possible with less power than this minimum power, more power than necessary is consumed. Therefore, there has been a problem that the stabilization accuracy of the DC mains voltage is poor.
In the battery system disclosed in
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and while improving the accuracy of stabilizing the DC mains voltage between the power generation source and the load while suppressing excessive consumption of the storage battery, is simple, and An object of the present invention is to provide a power stabilization device with improved reliability.
In order to solve the above problems, a power stabilization device according to the present invention is a power stabilization device connected to a DC main line that supplies power from a power generation source to a load, and includes a bidirectional converter and a storage battery. In the bidirectional converter, an upper limit threshold that is within the allowable voltage range of the DC main line and is higher than the target voltage value and a lower limit threshold that is lower than the target voltage value are preset, and the voltage value of the DC main line is When the storage battery is above the upper threshold and the storage battery is not fully charged, a charging operation is performed to charge the storage battery. When the DC mains voltage is below the lower threshold and the storage battery is not in the end-discharge state, the storage battery is discharged. The operation is performed, and the upper threshold and the lower threshold are set to different values for each of the bidirectional converters of the plurality of power supply devices.
According to the present invention, the plurality of power supply apparatuses set different values for the upper threshold value that is a criterion for performing the charging operation of the storage battery and the lower threshold value that is the determination criterion for performing the discharging operation of the storage battery for each bidirectional converter. Therefore, when the DC mains voltage is low or overvoltage, the power supply units operate one at a time instead of operating at the same time, and the internal loss of the bidirectional converter is suppressed to the minimum. When the main line voltage is low, the discharge efficiency of the storage battery can be improved, and when the DC main line voltage is overvoltage, power balance control with low power consumption is possible. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the accuracy of stabilizing the DC mains voltage between the power generation source and the load while suppressing excessive consumption of the storage battery. In addition, since the upper and lower thresholds of each bidirectional converter are set to different values, each bidirectional converter autonomously performs the charging operation and discharging operation of the storage battery according to the value of the DC mains voltage. In addition, it is not necessary to separately provide communication means for linking a plurality of power supply devices, and system failure due to disconnection of communication wiring or communication failure can be prevented. Therefore, the configuration of the power supply device can be simplified and the reliability of the system can be improved.
Preferably, at least two of the plurality of power supply devices have one upper limit threshold set to a value lower than the other upper limit threshold and one lower limit threshold set to a value lower than the other lower limit threshold. It is good to be. In this case, when the DC mains voltage is overvoltage, one power supply device starts a charging operation before the other power supply device, but when the voltage is low, the other power supply device starts a discharging operation before one power supply device. Therefore, it is possible to distribute the operations in one power supply device and the other power supply device. As a result, it is possible to prevent the bias of deterioration of the plurality of power supply devices.
The present invention provides a power stabilization device that improves the accuracy of stabilizing the DC mains voltage between the power source and the load while suppressing excessive consumption of the storage battery, and that is simple and highly reliable. can do.

First, an overall configuration of a
The power generation source 2 is composed of a power generation device using renewable energy such as a solar power generation device and a wind power generation device, a fuel cell, or a distributed power source such as a diesel generator. The electric power generated by the power generation source 2 is supplied to a load 3 described later via the DC
The load 3 is connected to the DC
The control communication device 4 transmits information using communication means between the power generation source 2 and the load 3. Specifically, the control communication device 4 detects the generated power of the power generation source 2 and the power consumption of the load 3 to determine a condition for maintaining a power balance state, and generates and consumes the generated power and power to the power generation source 2 and the load 3. Give a command to change the power.
The power stabilizing device 5 plays a role of a protection function against overvoltage and undervoltage of the DC
(First embodiment)
The power stabilization device 5 according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes a first
The first and second bidirectional converters 71 and 72 transform the voltage inputted from the primary side and transform the voltage inputted to the secondary side by transforming the voltage inputted from the secondary side. A second operation of outputting from the primary side; Here, the primary side of the first bidirectional converter 71 is connected to the DC
Further, the first and second bidirectional converters 71 and 72 detect the voltage of the DC
The first and
In the present embodiment, the case of two power supply devices, the first
Then, with reference to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, operation | movement of the power stabilizer 5 which concerns on 1st Embodiment of this invention is demonstrated in detail. FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating a control operation of the power stabilization apparatus when an overvoltage occurs in the DC main line. FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating a control operation of the power stabilization apparatus when a low voltage is generated in the DC main line.
First, an unbalanced state of power between generated power and consumed power in the distributed
When the generated power of the power generation source 2 exceeds the power consumption of the load 3 and the power unbalanced state continues, the voltage of the DC
On the other hand, when the generated power of the power generation source 2 falls below the power consumption of the load 3 and the power unbalanced state continues, the voltage of the DC
As described above, the power stabilizing device 5 according to the present embodiment includes the first and second power supply devices including the first and second bidirectional converters 71 and 72 and the first and

First and second
Then, with reference to FIG. 5, operation | movement of the
When the generated power of the power generation source 2 exceeds the power consumption of the load 3 and the power unbalanced state continues, the voltage of the DC
On the other hand, when the generated power of the power generation source 2 falls below the power consumption of the load 3 and the power unbalanced state continues, the voltage of the DC
As described above, in the present embodiment, when an overvoltage occurs in the DC
As described above, in the
