Abstract
Description
以下に本発明のAV機器について説明を行う前にAVシステムについて説明を行う。図1はAVシステムの構成例を示す図である。AVシステム1はAV信号を供給するソース機器10、AV信号を受け取るシンク機器20、ソース機器10及びシンク機器20を接続するHDMI規格に準拠したケーブル30から構成される。ソース機器10は例えばBD/DVDプレーヤ、BDプレーヤ、デジタルカメラ等である。シンク機器20は例えばテレビジョン受像機やプロジェクタ等である。また、ソース機器としての機能とシンク機器としての機能を兼ね備える機器も存在し、例えばBD/DVDプレーヤ内蔵のテレビジョン受像機があげられる。
第1実施形態では映像信号がスクリーンセーバーに係る信号であるか否かを判定したが、本実施形態ではさらに、映像信号がスクリーンセーバーに係る信号ではない場合にテストパターンに係る信号であるか否かを判定する。
本実施形態では第1実施形態のステップS04又は第2実施形態のステップS15で低輝度に制御したBLユニット25の輝度を通常動作時の輝度に制御する(戻す)処理を行う。本実施形態は第2実施形態の変形例として説明を行うが、第1実施形態にも適用可能である。
シンク機器20は機種によってはシンク機器20が設置されている周辺輝度を感知して感知信号を生成する照度センサ(不図示)を備えるものがある。制御部26のBL制御部261は照度センサが生成する感知信号に基づいて、周辺輝度が低ければ(暗ければ)BLユニット25の輝度を低輝度に制御し、周辺輝度が高ければ(明るければ)BLユニットの輝度25を高輝度に制御する。

Claims (7)
- ソース機器の出力信号を受信する通信部と、
前記通信部の受信信号に音声信号及び字幕信号が含まれるか否かを判定する判定部と、
前記通信部の受信信号に音声信号及び字幕信号が含まれないときにバックライトの輝度を低輝度に制御する制御部と、
を備えるAV機器。 - 前記通信部の受信信号に音声信号が含まれるときに前記判定部は前記音声信号が一定周波数の音声を含むか否かを判定し、前記制御部は前記音声信号が一定周波数の音声を含むときに前記バックライトの輝度を低輝度に制御する請求項1に記載のAV機器
- 前記バックライトの輝度を低輝度に制御しているときにおいて前記制御部は前記通信部の受信信号の差分を検出して前記バックライトの輝度を通常動作時の輝度に制御する請求項1又は請求項2に記載のAV機器。
- 前記通信部の受信信号の差分は前記通信部の受信信号に含まれる映像信号が動画から静止画に変化し、或いは、静止画から動画に変化したことに起因した差分を含む請求項3に記載のAV機器。
- 前記通信部の受信信号の差分は前記通信部の受信信号に含まれなかった音声信号が含まれたことに起因した差分を含む請求項3又は請求項4に記載のAV機器。
- 前記通信部の受信信号の差分は前記通信部の受信信号に含まれる音声信号の周波数が一定周波数から不定周波数に変化したことに起因した差分を含む請求項3〜請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のAV機器。
- 周辺輝度を感知して感知信号を生成する照度センサを備え、前記制御部は前記バックライトの輝度を低輝度に制御する際に前記照度センサの機能をオフにする請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のAV機器。
