Abstract
Description
Claims (16)
- 係合式の面シールアセンブリを組み立てるための方法であり、該方法が、
凸状外面を有するシーリング要素であって、ばねを有し、該ばねが、二個のシーリング・フランジおよび中央溝部により画定されるばねキャビティ内に配置されるシーリング要素を形成すること、
孔部を画定する内面を有するバックアップ・リングであって、前記内面が、凹状内面を備えるバックアップ・リングを形成すること、
前記凹状内面が、前記シーリング要素の前記凸状外面の少なくとも一部に受容されるとともに、前記シーリング要素が、前記バックアップ・リング内に保持されるように、前記シーリング要素を、前記バックアップ・リングの前記孔部内に組み立てること
を備え、
前記ばねが、前記二個のシーリング・フランジのそれぞれの内側面に対して付勢される、方法。 - 前記シーリング要素の前記凸状外面が、二個のテーパ面を備え、該二個のテーパ面が、それらの間に頂点を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記シーリング要素の前記凸状外面が、二個のテーパ面および、それらの間の平坦面を備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バックアップ・リングが、第二バッキング・リング部分に取り付けられた第一バッキング・リング部分を備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第一バッキング・リング部分が、前記第二バッキング・リング部分にねじ込まれる、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記二個のシーリング・フランジが、一般に互いに平行な装置ハウジングの二個の固定平坦面に対してシールされる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ばねが、傾斜コイルばね、Vばね又はリボンばねである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記二個のシーリング・フランジが、前記バッキング・リングの幅より大きい幅を規定し、それにより、装置ハウジング内に、前記係合式の面シールアセンブリが取り付けられるとき、前記バッキング・リングが、二個の固定面により圧縮される前に、前記二個のシーリング・フランジが、前記二個の固定面により圧縮される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 係合式の面シールアセンブリであり、
凸状外面または凹状外面を有するシーリング要素であって、ばねを有し、該ばねが、二個のシーリング・フランジおよび中央溝部により画定されるばねキャビティ内に配置されるシーリング要素と、
孔部を画定する内面を有するバックアップ・リングであって、前記内面が、凸状内面または凹状内面を備えるバックアップ・リングと
を備え、
前記バックアップ・リングの凹状内面が、前記シーリング要素の凸状外面の少なくとも一部を受容し、または、前記バックアップ・リングの前記凸状内面が、前記シーリング要素の前記凹状外面の少なくとも一部を受容し、前記シーリング要素が、前記バックアップ・リング内に保持されるものとした、係合式の面シールアセンブリ。 - 前記シーリング要素の最外径が、バックアップ・リングの最内径より大きい、請求項9に記載の係合式の面シールアセンブリ。
- 前記バックアップ・リングの最外径が、前記シーリング要素の最内径より大きい、請求項9に記載の係合式の面シールアセンブリ。
- 組立てのために、前記シーリング要素またはバックアップ・リングの半径方向のたわみが必要とされる、請求項9に記載の係合式の面シールアセンブリ。
- 当該凹状表面が、湾曲、テーパまたは面取りの端部を備える、請求項9に記載の係合式の面シールアセンブリ。
- 前記ばねが、傾斜コイルばね、Vばね又はリボンばねである、請求項9に記載の係合式の面シールアセンブリ。
- 前記バックアップ・リングが、第二バッキング・リング部分に取り付けられた第一バッキング・リング部分を備える、請求項9に記載の係合式の面シールアセンブリ。
- 係合式の面シールアセンブリを組み立てるための方法であり、該方法が、
凹状外面を有するシーリング要素であって、ばねを有し、該ばねが、二個のシーリング・フランジおよび中央溝部により画定されるばねキャビティ内に配置されるシーリング要素を形成すること、
孔部を画定する内面を有するバックアップ・リングであって、前記内面が凸状内面を備えるバックアップ・リングを形成すること、
前記凹状外面が、前記シーリング要素の前記凸状内面の少なくとも一部を受容するとともに、前記シーリング要素が、前記バックアップ・リング内に保持されるように、前記シーリング要素を、前記バックアップ・リングの記孔部内に組み立てること
を備え、
前記ばねが、前記二個のシーリング・フランジのそれぞれの内側面に対して付勢される、方法。
