Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a navigation terminal, a method, and a program.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a navigation terminal is generally configured to be able to specify a current location of a navigation terminal and implement a function for guiding the current location on a map displayed on a display unit. In order to specify the current location of the navigation terminal, it is common to refer to the movement speed in order to specify the movement locus of the navigation terminal. The moving speed can be specified based on various information. For example, in Patent Document 1, the amplitude and period of vibration when a moving body such as a pedestrian or a vehicle moves is detected, and the movement is performed from the amplitude and period. A technique for estimating the moving speed of a body is disclosed.
In the above-described prior art, it has been difficult to estimate the vehicle speed of a vehicle that can change the shift speed with a transmission having a plurality of shift speeds. That is, in a vehicle that can change the gear stage with a transmission having a plurality of gear stages, the relationship between the vibration and the vehicle speed is not one-to-one, and therefore the vehicle speed is estimated even if the vibration and the vehicle speed are simply associated. I can't.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of estimating the vehicle speed of a vehicle that can change the shift speed with a transmission having a plurality of shift speeds.
In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, a navigation terminal that identifies a current location based on a GPS signal, and a vibration detection unit that detects vibration of the navigation terminal when the navigation terminal is used in a vehicle, Correspondence information acquisition means for acquiring correspondence information defining the relationship between the vibration of the navigation terminal and the vehicle speed for each shift stage of the vehicle, and a period immediately before the deterioration period when the reception status of the GPS signal is deteriorated The reference vehicle speed, which is the vehicle speed of the vehicle, is acquired based on the GPS signal, the reference value acquisition means for acquiring the vibration of the navigation terminal detected by the vibration detection means as the reference vibration, and the vehicle traveling at the reference vehicle speed The navigation terminal obtains a reference shift stage that is a shift stage that vibrates by reference vibration based on the correspondence information. Vehicle speed estimation means for estimating the vehicle speed of the vehicle in the deterioration period based on the shift speed acquisition means, reference gear speed, correspondence information, and vibration of the navigation terminal detected by the vibration detection means in the deterioration period. Configure the navigation terminal.
That is, in the navigation terminal, the current location can be specified based on the GPS signal, but the current location cannot be specified based on the GPS signal when the reception status of the GPS signal is deteriorated. Therefore, in order to estimate the vehicle speed of the vehicle during the deterioration period in which the reception status of the GPS signal has deteriorated, a reference vehicle speed that is the vehicle speed of the vehicle is acquired based on the GPS signal in the period immediately before the deterioration period, and the deterioration period The vibration of the navigation terminal detected by the vibration detecting means in the period immediately before is acquired as a reference vibration. Further, a reference shift stage that is a shift stage in the period immediately before the deterioration period is acquired based on the reference vehicle speed and the reference vibration. Then, the shift speed in the deterioration period is also regarded as the reference shift speed, and the vehicle speed in the deterioration period is estimated by referring to the correspondence information using the reference shift speed and the vibration of the navigation terminal in the deterioration period as keys.
As a result, the vehicle speed of the vehicle can be estimated even when the GPS signal reception status is deteriorated. Accordingly, it is possible to estimate the transition of the current location from the vehicle speed of the vehicle, and it is possible to continue to update the current location when the reception status of the GPS signal is deteriorated.
Here, the vibration detection means only needs to be able to detect the vibration of the navigation terminal when the navigation terminal is used in a vehicle. The detection of the vibration may be realized by detecting the vibration itself, or may be realized by detecting a physical quantity that changes according to the vibration. As the former, a configuration for detecting the amplitude and period of vibration can be adopted, and as the latter, for example, a configuration for obtaining an output value of a gyro sensor, an acceleration sensor or the like as a vibration detection value can be adopted.
The correspondence relationship information acquisition means only needs to be able to acquire correspondence relationship information that defines the relationship between the vibration of the navigation terminal and the vehicle speed for each gear stage of the vehicle. That is, when the vibration of the vehicle is transmitted to a navigation terminal (preferably supported by the vehicle by a predetermined support portion) existing in the vehicle, the navigation terminal vibrates. If the vehicle speed of the vehicle is detected and the vehicle speed is specified, the correspondence between the vibration of the navigation terminal and the vehicle speed of the vehicle can be defined. And when the gear stage is the same, it is considered that the corresponding relationship has reproducibility. Therefore, if the correspondence relationship between the vibration of the navigation terminal and the vehicle speed of the vehicle is defined for each shift stage, the vehicle speed of the vehicle can be estimated from the shift stage and the vibration of the navigation terminal.
The reference value acquisition means acquires the reference vehicle speed, which is the vehicle speed of the vehicle, based on the GPS signal in the period immediately before the deterioration period in which the reception status of the GPS signal is deteriorated, and the vibration detection means in the period immediately before the deterioration period. It is sufficient that the vibration of the navigation terminal detected by the above can be acquired as the reference vibration. That is, in the deterioration period, since the vehicle speed cannot be specified based on the GPS signal, the period immediately before the deterioration period in which the reception status of the GPS signal is deteriorated so that the vehicle speed can be estimated in the deterioration period. Is acquired as the reference vehicle speed, and the vibration in the period immediately before the deterioration period is acquired as the reference vibration.
Note that the situation in which the reception status of the GPS signal has deteriorated includes a situation in which the GPS signal cannot be received from at least one GPS satellite, and a situation in which a highly reliable analysis cannot be performed from the GPS signal due to the influence of multipath or the like. That is, a situation where the current location cannot be acquired based on the GPS signal or a situation where the current location acquired based on the GPS signal is in a low reliability state may be defined as a situation where the reception status of the GPS signal is deteriorated. Examples of such a situation include a situation where a vehicle exists in a tunnel, a situation where a vehicle exists on a road surrounded by high buildings, and the like.
The reference shift speed acquisition means only needs to be able to acquire the reference shift speed, which is the shift speed at which the navigation terminal vibrates with the reference vibration as the vehicle travels at the reference vehicle speed, based on the correspondence information. That is, it is only necessary to estimate the gear position during the deterioration period in which the reception status of the GPS signal is deteriorating and use it as the reference gear position by referring to the correspondence relationship information using the reference vehicle speed and the reference vibration as keys. In a vehicle in which the gear position can be changed by a transmission having a plurality of gear speeds, if both the vehicle speed and the gear speed are unknown during the deterioration period in which the reception status of the GPS signal is deteriorated, the vehicle speed is reduced during the deterioration period. And the gear position cannot be estimated. Further, the vehicle speed can fluctuate greatly during the deterioration period. Therefore, it is only necessary to be configured so that the vehicle speed in the deterioration period can be estimated by assuming that the reference vibration acquired based on the shift stage immediately before the deterioration period is maintained in the deterioration period.
The vehicle speed estimation means only needs to be able to estimate the vehicle speed of the vehicle during the deterioration period based on the reference shift speed, the correspondence information, and the vibration of the navigation terminal detected by the vibration detection means during the deterioration period. That is, the shift stage in the deterioration period is regarded as the reference shift stage, and the vehicle speed at which the vibration of the navigation terminal detected in the deterioration period is generated in the reference shift stage is determined from the correspondence information, and is estimated to be the vehicle speed of the vehicle. I can do it.
As a method for defining the correspondence information, various methods can be adopted, and it may be defined by measuring the relationship between the vehicle speed and vibration for each shift stage in advance before the operation of the navigation terminal, These relationships may be defined in the operation process of the navigation terminal. As the latter, for example, a navigation terminal that classifies the distribution of the vibration of the navigation terminal detected by the vibration detection means and the vehicle speed of the vehicle acquired based on the GPS signal into a plurality of groups and is classified into the same group. It is possible to adopt a configuration that assumes that the relationship between the vibration of the vehicle and the vehicle speed of the vehicle is realized at the same shift speed.
In other words, the relationship between the vehicle speed and the vibration is similar if the gears are the same, but is not similar if the gears are different. Therefore, in the distribution of the vibration of the navigation terminal detected by the vibration detection means and the vehicle speed of the vehicle acquired based on the GPS signal, the groups in which the vibration and the vehicle speed are similar are classified into the same group, If they are dissimilar and analyzed so that they are classified into different groups, the relationship between the vibration of the navigation terminal and the vehicle speed of the vehicle that are classified into the same group is considered to be realized at the same gear stage. Can do. According to this configuration, it is possible to define the correspondence information after the operation of the navigation terminal is started. Therefore, it is possible to easily specify the correspondence information suitable for the environment in which the navigation terminal is used (for example, vehicle type).
Furthermore, it is also possible to obtain correspondence information from the relationship between the rotational speed of the driving device that drives the vehicle by the rotational force of the rotating body and the vibration of the navigation terminal, and the relationship between the rotational speed for each gear and the vehicle speed. good. That is, the relationship between the rotational speed and the vibration of the navigation terminal may not depend on the gear position. In many cases, the relationship between the number of rotations at each gear position and the vehicle speed is made clear in advance as a specification for each vehicle type. Therefore, when the relationship between the rotational speed and the vibration of the navigation terminal does not depend on the shift speed, if the relationship between the rotational speed and the vibration of the navigation terminal is measured, the relationship between the vehicle speed and the vibration is based on the specification. It becomes possible to define the relationship information, and the correspondence information can be easily defined. In addition, the internal combustion engine, a motor, etc. are assumed as the rotary body which drives a vehicle here.
Further, when the temporal change rate of the vibration of the navigation terminal during the deterioration period is equal to or greater than the threshold value, the reference shift stage is considered to have changed, and the detected shift stage and correspondence information and the navigation detected by the vibration detection means during the deterioration period It is good also as a structure which estimates the vehicle speed of a vehicle based on the vibration of a terminal. That is, when the gear position is changed, the rotational speed of the rotating body changes, and the vibration corresponding to the rotational speed also changes. Since this change is larger than the change in the rotational speed generated by normal vehicle acceleration / deceleration, it can be considered that the gear position has changed when the time change rate of the vibration of the navigation terminal during the deterioration period is large.
Therefore, if the time change rate of the vibration of the navigation terminal that can be regarded as a change in the gear stage is set in advance as a threshold value, the reference shift speed is set when the time change rate of the vibration of the navigation terminal in the deterioration period is equal to or greater than the threshold value. Can be considered changed. Further, it is also possible to estimate the speed change stage according to the magnitude of the time change rate of the speed change stage. Therefore, the vehicle speed after the shift stage can be estimated by referring to the correspondence information using the shift stage after the change and the vibration of the navigation terminal detected by the vibration detection means during the deterioration period as keys.
Further, as in the present invention, the reference shift speed in the deterioration period is estimated based on the reference vehicle speed and the reference vibration in the period immediately before the GPS signal deterioration period, and the vehicle speed is determined based on the reference shift speed and the vibration in the deterioration period. The method for estimating the vehicle speed can also be applied as a program or method. In addition, the system, program, and method as described above may be realized as a single device, or may be realized by using components shared with each unit provided in the vehicle when realized by a plurality of devices. It can be assumed and includes various aspects. For example, it is possible to provide a navigation system, method, and program including the above-described devices. Further, some changes may be made as appropriate, such as a part of software and a part of hardware. Furthermore, the invention can be realized as a recording medium for a program for controlling the system. Of course, the software recording medium may be a magnetic recording medium, a magneto-optical recording medium, or any recording medium to be developed in the future.

In the
The
The
Further, in the present embodiment, the

In the figure, the relationship between the vibration of the navigation terminal and the vehicle speed is shown as a curve on a graph with the horizontal axis representing the output value of the

The vibration detection unit 21a is a program module that causes the
The correspondence
Therefore, if the correspondence relationship between the vibration of the
In FIG. 2B, an example of actual measurement values of the vibration of the
And the
The reference
In such a case, the current location cannot be acquired based on the GPS signal, or the current location acquired based on the GPS signal may be in a state of low reliability. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the situation where the current location cannot be acquired based on the GPS signal or the current location acquired based on the GPS signal is in a state of low reliability based on the reception status (reception strength or the like) of the GPS signal. The situation is defined as a situation where the GPS signal reception situation is getting worse. Therefore, the
And in the said deterioration period, a vehicle speed cannot be specified based on a GPS signal. Therefore, in order to enable estimation of the vehicle speed during the deterioration period, the
Specifically, when it is determined that the deterioration period is based on the GPS signal, the
The reference shift
Specifically, the
The vehicle speed estimation unit 21e controls the function of estimating the vehicle speed of the vehicle in the deterioration period based on the reference gear stage, the correspondence information 30b, and the vibration of the
For example, when the reference shift speed is the third speed, the relationship of the alternate long and short dash line shown in FIG. 2B is extracted, and the vibration of the
(2) Vehicle speed estimation processing:
Next, the vehicle speed estimation process will be described in detail. FIG. 2A is a flowchart of a vehicle speed estimation process. In the present embodiment, when the traveling history in which the vibration of the
Next, by the processing of the correspondence
Next, the
Next, the
Next, the
On the other hand, when it is determined in step S125 that the reception status of the GPS signal has deteriorated, that is, when the current time is the deterioration period, the
Of course, the current location may be specified here based on the estimated vehicle speed. That is, the
When the vehicle speed is estimated in step S130, the
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S135 that the time change rate of vibration is equal to or greater than the threshold value, the
When the changed gear position is acquired in step S140, the
(3) Other embodiments:
The above embodiment is an example for carrying out the present invention, and the reference shift stage in the deterioration period is estimated based on the reference vehicle speed and the reference vibration in the period immediately before the GPS signal deterioration period, and the reference shift stage and the deterioration. As long as the vehicle speed of the vehicle is estimated based on the vibration of the period, various other embodiments can be adopted. For example, the
The detection of vibration may be realized by detecting the vibration itself, or may be realized by detecting a physical quantity that changes according to the vibration. As the former, a configuration for detecting the amplitude and period of vibration can be adopted, and as the latter, an acceleration sensor or the like can be assumed in addition to the above-described
Furthermore, as a method for defining the correspondence information 30b, various methods can be adopted, and it is defined by measuring the relationship between the vehicle speed and vibration for each shift stage in advance before the
Furthermore, it responds from the relationship between the rotational speed of the drive device that drives the vehicle by the rotational force of the rotating body (internal combustion engine, motor, etc.) and the vibration of the
FIG. 3A is a graph showing the relationship between the rotational speed and the vibration of the
