Abstract
【解決手段】流路に連通するノズル開口から液体を噴射させる圧力発生手段と、前記流路に液体を供給する液体貯留手段と、前記ノズル開口を覆うキャップを備えた液体噴射ヘッドであって、圧力発生手段は、前記液体貯留手段の交換時であって、前記液体噴射ヘッドに前記キャップがされていない時に、微振動駆動を行う。

(実施形態1)
図1は、本発明の実施形態1に係る液体噴射装置の一例であるインクジェット式記録装置を示す概略図である。
以上、本発明の一実施形態を説明したが、本発明の基本的構成は上述したものに限定されるものではない。
Claims (2)
- 圧力発生手段の駆動によって流路内に圧力変化を生じさせて前記流路に連通するノズル開口から液体を噴射する液体噴射ヘッドと、
該液体噴射ヘッドを被噴射媒体に対して相対的に移動可能に保持する保持部材と、
前記保持部材に保持されて前記液体噴射ヘッドに液体を供給する液体貯留手段と、
前記液体噴射ヘッドの液体噴射面を覆うキャップと、を具備し、
前記圧力発生手段は、前記液体貯留手段の交換時であって、前記液体噴射ヘッドに前記キャップがされていない時に、微振動駆動を行うことを特徴とする液体噴射装置。 - 前記液体噴射ヘッドは、液体として染料系液体を吐出する複数の前記ノズル開口を有する染料ノズル群と、液体として顔料系液体を吐出する複数の前記ノズル開口を有する顔料ノズル群と、を備え、前記顔料ノズル群に対応する前記圧力発生手段は、前記液体貯留手段の交換時であって、前記液体噴射ヘッドに前記キャップがされていない時に、微振動駆動を行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の液体噴射装置。
