Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a phase shifter that changes the phase of a high-frequency signal transmitted from an antenna element.
Conventionally, a phase shifter that changes the phase of a high-frequency signal transmitted from an antenna element is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
A phase shifter described in Patent Document 1 is provided for a dielectric substrate, an input side line provided on the dielectric substrate, an arc-shaped output side line provided on the dielectric substrate, and a dielectric substrate. A rotatable dielectric substrate and a movable conductor provided on the movable dielectric substrate are provided. The movable conductor has an arc-shaped coupling portion coupled to the output-side conductor and a circular coupling portion coupled to the input-side conductor, and the arc-shaped coupling portion along the output-side line as the movable dielectric substrate rotates. Is configured to move. Then, when the movable conductor moves along the output side line, the line length from the input port to the output port changes, and thereby the phase of the signal output from the output port changes.
The phase shifter configured as described above has the radiation characteristics of the radio wave radiated from the antenna element connected to the output port even if the phase of the signal output from the output port changes due to the rotation of the movable dielectric substrate. Should not change. However, the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) changes due to the change in the distance between the movable conductor and the input side line due to the rotation of the movable dielectric substrate, and the power conversion efficiency may decrease. is there.
This change in the voltage standing wave ratio can be suppressed, for example, by limiting the rotation angle of the movable dielectric substrate to an angle range in which the distance between the arcuate coupling portion and the input side line is sufficiently secured. In this case, since it is necessary to increase the arc radius of the output side line in order to obtain a desired amount of phase shift, the phase shifter becomes large.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a phase shifter capable of suppressing a change in voltage standing wave ratio of a radio wave radiated from an antenna element with a phase change while suppressing an increase in size. .
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a first dielectric substrate, a first conductor provided on the first dielectric substrate, to which a high-frequency signal is input, and the first dielectric substrate. A second conductor that is provided on the body substrate separately from the first conductor and that outputs the high-frequency signal to the antenna element; and a second dielectric substrate that is movable relative to the first dielectric substrate A third conductor provided on the second dielectric substrate for electrically coupling the first conductor and the second conductor; and the third conductor on the second dielectric substrate. A fourth conductor provided separately from the first conductor, wherein the fourth conductor is capacitively coupled to the third conductor, and the first dielectric substrate and the second dielectric substrate Provided is a phase shifter provided at a position where fluctuations in the voltage standing wave ratio of the antenna element due to relative movement are suppressed. .
The area of the fourth conductor overlapping the first conductor via the dielectric may be changed in accordance with the relative movement between the first dielectric substrate and the second dielectric substrate.
Further, the second conductor has an arc portion provided in an arc shape on the first dielectric substrate, and the second dielectric substrate is an arc center of the arc portion of the second conductor. The fourth conductor may be provided on one side of the third conductor in the rotation direction of the second dielectric substrate. .
According to the phase shifter according to the present invention, it is possible to suppress a change in the voltage standing wave ratio of the radio wave radiated from the antenna element with a change in phase.

[Embodiment]
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view showing a phase shifter according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a plan view of this phase shifter.

The

The
The
The
In the phase shifter 1 configured as described above, the path length of signal propagation from the
The
Thereby, the phase difference of the radio wave radiated from each antenna element 60 connected to the
3A and 3B are enlarged views showing the floating
In the state shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, the distance between the floating
On the other hand, in the state shown in FIG. 3C, the floating
FIG. 4 shows a VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) when the frequency band is 1.8 to 2.2 GHz in the phase shifter as a comparative example that does not have the floating
図5は、本実施の形態に係る移相器1において、周波数帯域を1.8〜2.2GHzとした場合のVSWR(Voltage Standing Wave Ratio:電圧定在波比)、及びスミスチャートを示す。 FIG. 5 shows a VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) and Smith chart when the frequency band is 1.8 to 2.2 GHz in the phase shifter 1 according to the present embodiment.
4 and 5, (a) and (b) are a graph and a Smith chart showing the VSWR characteristics when the
As shown in FIG. 4, in the absence of the floating
In contrast, in the phase shifter 1 according to the present embodiment, when the
More specifically, in the phase shifter according to the comparative example, the VSWR at 2.2 GHz is 1.23 when the
Thus, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to suppress a change in the voltage standing wave ratio of the radio wave radiated from the antenna element 60 in accordance with the change in phase. In addition, since the floating
While the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the embodiments described above do not limit the invention according to the claims. In addition, it should be noted that not all the combinations of features described in the embodiments are essential to the means for solving the problems of the invention.
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be implemented with appropriate modifications without departing from the spirit thereof. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the case where the
