Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an anchor hard coat agent for an insert molding film and an insert molding film.
In recent years, plastic films have been used in various industries such as the automobile industry and the household electrical appliance industry because they are lightweight and inexpensive in addition to their processability and transparency. It is also widely used for displays such as flat panel displays, touch panels and personal computers. A plastic film is softer than glass and has drawbacks such that the surface is easily scratched. In order to eliminate this drawback, a hard coat film obtained by coating an ultraviolet curable resin composition on a plastic film is used.
Among them, for insert molding films, UV curable resin compositions with excellent heat moldability are applied and cured on PET (polyethylene terephthalate) films, and decorative prints and / or metal vapor deposition treatments are applied to the back to give design. It is used for mobile phones etc. by film insert molding technique.
However, there has been a drawback in that the adhesion is poor when silicon dioxide or titanium dioxide, which is necessary to have an optical multilayer film appearance that has been increasing in recent years, is deposited.
The present invention has been studied in view of such a situation. By using a photopolymerizable oligomer, a silane coupling agent, and a photopolymerization initiator, the anchor hard coat agent for an insert molded film is used. The problem can be solved.
By applying and curing the anchor hard coat agent of the present invention on a substrate such as a plastic film, it can have good adhesion to various metals, silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail. The film for insert molding of the present invention has the following configuration. As shown in FIG. 1, in order from the top, there are a hard coat layer (1), a film (2), an anchor hard coat layer (3), a printing ink layer, or a metal or metal oxide vapor deposition layer (5).
The hard coat layer (1) is obtained by curing a hard coat agent containing a (meth) acrylate such as urethane (meth) acrylate, polyester (meth) acrylate, and epoxy (meth) acrylate, and a photopolymerization initiator as essential components. It is. Urethane (meth) acrylate is obtained by reacting polyisocyanate, polyol and hydroxyl group-containing (meth) acrylate by a known method. Epoxy (meth) acrylate is obtained by reacting a glycidyl ether compound and a carboxylic acid having a polymerizable unsaturated group such as (meth) acrylic acid. Among these, it is particularly preferable to use urethane (meth) acrylate, which is excellent in hardness and killing resistance, and has excellent flexibility in consideration of insert molding.
The photopolymerization initiator preferably has a melting point of 60 to 150 ° C., and specifically includes benzyl ketal, α-hydroxyalkylphenone, α-aminoalkylphenone, acylphosphine oxide, and the like. As products, Irgacure 651 (2,2-dimethoxy-1,2-diphenylethane-1-one, melting point 64-67 ° C.), Irgacure 2959 (1- [4- (2-hydroxyethoxy) -phenyl] -2-hydroxy 2-methyl-1-propan-1-one, mp 87-92 ° C.), Irgacure 127 (2-hydroxy-1- {4- [4- (2-hydroxy-2-methyl-propionyl) -benzyl] phenyl} -2-methyl-propan-1-one, melting point 82-90 ° C.), Irgacure 907 (2-methyl-1- (4-methylthiophenyl) -2-morpholinopropan-1-one, melting point 70-75 ° C.), Irgacure 369 (2-benzyl-2-dimethylamino-1- (4-morpholinophenyl) -butanone-1, melting point 110-114 ° C.), Irgacure 379 (2- (dimethylamino) -2-[(4-methylphenyl) methyl] -1- [4- (4-morpholinyl) phenyl] -1-butanone, melting point 82-87 ° C.) Darocur TPO (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl-diphenyl-phosphine oxide, melting point 88-92 ° C.), Irgacure 819 (bis (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) -phenylphosphine oxide, melting point 127-133 ° C. ) (Trade name, both manufactured by BASF Japan Ltd.).
When the melting point of the photopolymerization initiator is less than 60 ° C., the rainbow unevenness phenomenon is likely to occur, and when it exceeds 150 ° C., it takes time to dissolve the oligomer and the workability is deteriorated. 1-10 weight part of photoinitiators are added with respect to 100 weight part of solid content of (meth) acrylate. When the amount is less than 1 part by weight, insufficient curing occurs. When the amount exceeds 10 parts by weight, problems such as poor solubility and poor scratch resistance occur.
中でも耐熱性、機械的強度に優れるPET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート)フィルムが好ましい。 The film (2) as the substrate on which the hard coat layer (1) is formed is usually a known plastic film, for example, polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polyethylene naphthalate, polyethylene film, polypropylene film, cellophane, diacetyl cellulose film. , Triacetyl cellulose film, acetyl cellulose butyrate film, polyvinyl chloride film, polyvinylidene chloride film, polyvinyl alcohol film, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer film, polystyrene film, polycarbonate film, polymethylpentene film, polysulfone film, poly Ether ether ketone film, polyether sulfone film, polyether imide film, polyimide film Lum, fluorine resin film, nylon film, acrylic resin film or the like. Among these, a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film excellent in heat resistance and mechanical strength is preferable.
The method for applying the hard coating agent to the film (2) is not particularly limited, and coating such as known spray coating, dipping, roll coating, die coating, air knife coating, blade coating, spin coating, reverse coating, gravure coating, wire bar, etc. It can be formed by a construction method or a printing method such as gravure printing, screen printing, offset printing, or ink jet printing. The thickness of the resin layer is preferably 1 μm to 20 μm. If the thickness of the resin layer is less than 1 μm, sufficient physical properties may not be obtained, and if it exceeds 20 μm, cracks may occur particularly when a film is molded.
Case of a hard coat agent cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays, ultra-high pressure mercury lamp, high pressure mercury lamp, low pressure mercury lamp, carbon arc, a metal halide lamp, irradiation intensity of 500mW / cm 2 ~3000mW / cm 2 , the amount of work 50 An ultraviolet irradiation treatment of ˜400 mJ / cm 2 is performed. In order to prevent curing inhibition, irradiation may be performed under an inert gas such as nitrogen gas. When the lower limit is not reached, curing is insufficient and surface properties are inferior.
Next, the anchor hard coat agent layer (3) applied on the back surface of the hard coat film will be described. The anchor hard coat agent layer (3) is obtained by curing a hard coat agent containing a photopolymerization initiator as an essential component. The anchor hard coat agent comprises a photopolymerizable oligomer, a silane coupling agent, and a photopolymerization. It contains an initiator as an essential component. Examples of the photopolymerizable oligomer include (meth) acrylates such as urethane (meth) acrylate, polyester (meth) acrylate, and epoxy (meth) acrylate, as described above, and have excellent kill resistance and excellent flexibility. It is preferable to use (meth) acrylate.
Urethane (meth) acrylate is obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate, a polyol and a hydroxyl group-containing (meth) acrylate as described above. First, a polyisocyanate and a polyol are reacted to form a high molecular polyisocyanate. By reacting with a hydroxyl group-containing (meth) acrylate and bonding an unsaturated group to the terminal, or firstly reacting a hydroxyl group-containing (meth) acrylate with a polyisocyanate, and then reacting the resulting unsaturated polyisocyanate with a polyol. In some cases, the reaction is carried out in the presence of polyisocyanate.
As the urethane (meth) acrylate, those having a weight average molecular weight of 40,000 to 200,000 in terms of standard polystyrene measured by gel permeation chromatography and a number of functional groups of about 10 to 16 are suitably used. If the weight average molecular weight is less than the lower limit, the strength of the anchor hard coat layer formed may be insufficient, and if it exceeds the upper limit, the viscosity of the anchor hard coat agent may be increased and workability may be deteriorated. If the number of functional groups is less than 10, the hardness of the anchor hard coat layer tends to be soft, and if the number of functional groups exceeds 16, the crosslink density of the formed anchor hard coat layer is excessively increased and may be hard and brittle. .
The polyisocyanate is not particularly limited. Although it does not specifically limit as a polyol, For example, polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, polytetramethylene ether glycol and these copolymers, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, 1, 4- butanediol, 2,2'- thiodiethanol Etc.
Adhesion test In accordance with the provisions of JIS K 5600-5-6 (1999 edition), 100 × 100 squares are made on the coating surface and cellophane tape (product name CT-24, manufactured by Nichiban Co., Ltd.) is pasted. The squares that were pulled upward and the coating film did not peel off were counted.
Post-deposition adhesion test Using an automatic vacuum film forming apparatus (Kraft), silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide were vacuum-deposited on the films prepared in Examples 1 to 14 and Comparative Example 1, and the same as above. An adhesion test was performed, and the squares where the coating film did not peel off were counted.
As is clear from Table 1, the anchor hard coating agent of the example was excellent in adhesion to a plastic film, and was also excellent in adhesion to silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide deposited films.
