Abstract
【解決手段】充電ケーブル1の表面に露出する部位の少なくとも一部を形成する材料に蓄光性を有する材料が用いられているので、電気自動車100が夜間に充電される場合、地面に這わされている充電ケーブル1が蓄光材料の作用で発光することになる。つまり、表面が発光することで充電ケーブル1の視認性向上を図ることができ、その結果、人が充電ケーブル1に躓きにくくなって安全性の向上を図ることができる。しかも、蓄光材料で放射される光で充電ケーブル1の表面を発光させているので、充電ケーブル1の表面に電気的な光源(発光ダイオードなど)を取り付ける場合と異なり、余分な電力消費を抑えて省エネや節電を図ることができる。

Claims (5)
- 電気車両に接続される充電コネクタと、先端に前記充電コネクタが接続される充電ケーブルとを備え、前記充電ケーブルは、表面に露出する部位の少なくとも一部を形成する材料に蓄光性を有する材料が用いられていることを特徴とする電気車両用充電装置。
- 前記充電ケーブルを収納する収納部と、前記収納部に収納される前記充電ケーブルに光を照射する光源とを備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電気車両用充電装置。
- 前記収納部には前記充電ケーブルを出し入れするための開口窓が設けられ、前記開口窓を開閉自在に閉じる扉を備え、前記開口窓と前記扉との間には、前記扉が閉じた状態で前記光源の光を前記収納部の外に漏れさせる隙間が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の電気車両用充電装置。
- 前記充電コネクタは、表面に露出する部位の少なくとも一部を形成する材料に蓄光性を有する材料が用いられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の電気車両用充電装置。
- 前記充電ケーブルを収納する収納部と、前記収納部に収納されていない状態の前記充電ケーブルに光を照射する光源とを備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電気車両用充電装置。
