Abstract
【解決手段】車両用温度調節装置1は、電池2の温度を調節する。装置1は、冷却水が循環する一次系統3と、冷媒が循環する二次系統4とを備える。一次系統3は、電池2と冷却水とを熱交換させる熱交換器31と、冷却水と外気とを熱交換させる熱交換器32とを備える。二次系統4は、冷凍サイクルである。冷凍サイクルの高温側の熱交換器42と低温側の熱交換器44とは、それらの両方が、一次系統3と熱的に結合している。このため、外気との熱交換は、熱交換器32だけが提供する。一次系統3のポンプ33は、冷却水の循環方向を切換えることができる。装置1は、電池2と冷凍サイクルとを含む主ユニット6を構成して、車両に搭載されている。制御装置5は、冷却運転および加熱運転を実行するように機器を制御する。

Description
図1は、本発明を適用した第1実施形態に係る車両用温度調節装置1を示すブロック図である。車両用温度調節装置1は、車両における熱負荷である電池(BATT)2の温度を冷凍サイクルなどの冷熱機器によって調節する。熱負荷は、電池2である。電池2は、車両の走行用の電動機に給電する二次電池である。電池2は、リチウムイオン電池などによって提供することができる。電池2は数百ボルトの出力を供給する。
図7は、本発明を適用した第2実施形態に係る車両用温度調節装置201を示すブロック図である。上記実施形態では、熱源装置37を設けることにより第3の加熱運転を提供した。これに代えて、熱源装置37を設けず、第3の加熱運転を実行しない車両用温度調節装置201を採用することができる。
図8は、本発明を適用した第3実施形態に係る車両用温度調節装置301を示すブロック図である。上記実施形態では、バイパス通路35を設けることにより第2の加熱運転と第3の加熱運転とを提供した。これに代えて、バイパス通路35を設けず、第2および第3の加熱運転を実行しない車両用温度調節装置301を採用することができる。この構成においては、第2の加熱運転に代えて、送風機32aを停止する運転を実行してもよい。具体的には、具体的には、制御装置5は、電池2を暖めるための熱を冷熱機器4が外気から汲み上げることができるとき、すなわち外気の温度が第3温度帯にあるとき、送風機32aを作動させる。そして、制御装置5は、電池2を暖めるための熱を冷熱機器4が外気から汲み上げることができないとき、すなわち外気の温度が第4温度帯にあるとき、送風機32aを停止させる。
図9は、本発明を適用した第4実施形態に係る車両用温度調節装置401を示すブロック図である。上記実施形態では、主ユニット6と熱交換器ユニット7とを構成して、装置を車両に搭載した。これに代えて、この実施形態では、複数の構成要素をユニット化することなく、車両に分散して搭載する。
図10は、本発明を適用した第5実施形態に係る車両用温度調節装置501を示すブロック図である。上記実施形態では、冷熱機器4は、基本的な構成をもつ冷凍サイクルであった。これに代えて、ホットガスバイパス機能を有する冷凍サイクルからなる冷熱機器504を採用することができる。冷熱機器504は、放熱器42を出た冷媒を、蒸発器44を通すことなく圧縮機41の吸入側に直接的に戻すホットガスバイパス装置545を備える。ホットガスバイパス装置545は、ホットガスバイパス通路と、その通路を開閉する弁とを備えることができる。この構成では、制御装置5は、加熱運転において、冷熱機器504がホットガスサイクルとして運転されるようにホットガスバイパス装置545を制御する。
図11は、本発明を適用した第6実施形態に係る車両用温度調節装置601を示すブロック図である。上記実施形態では、温度調節の対象、すなわち熱負荷は、電池2であった。これに代えて、温度調節が必要な種々の機器を熱負荷として採用することができる。例えば、図示の例においては、車両用温度調節装置601は、室内の空気の温度を調節する。すなわち、車両用温度調節装置601の熱負荷は、空調装置(HVAC)602である。
以上、本発明の好ましい実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上述した実施形態に何ら制限されることなく、本発明の主旨を逸脱しない範囲において種々変形して実施することが可能である。上記実施形態の構造は、あくまで例示であって、本発明の範囲はこれらの記載の範囲に限定されるものではない。本発明の範囲は、特許請求の範囲の記載によって示され、さらに特許請求の範囲の記載と均等の意味及び範囲内での全ての変更を含むものである。
Claims (10)
- 車両に搭載された熱負荷(2、602)と、
熱輸送媒体が循環する一次系統(3)であって、前記熱負荷と前記熱輸送媒体とを熱交換させる熱負荷用熱交換器(31)、および外気と前記熱輸送媒体とを熱交換させる外気用熱交換器(32)を備える一次系統(3)と、
前記熱輸送媒体と熱交換する高温側熱交換器(42)、および前記熱輸送媒体と熱交換する低温側熱交換器(44)とを備え、前記高温側熱交換器と前記低温側熱交換器との間に温度差を提供する冷熱機器(4、504)とを備えることを特徴とする車両用温度調節装置。 - 前記一次系統は、前記高温側熱交換器により加熱された前記熱輸送媒体を前記熱負荷用熱交換器へ供給する運転状態と、前記低温側熱交換器により冷却された前記熱輸送媒体を前記熱負荷用熱交換器へ供給する運転状態とを切換える切換装置(33)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用温度調節装置。
- 前記高温側熱交換器(42)は、前記一次系統における前記熱負荷用熱交換器(31)の一方に設けられ、
前記低温側熱交換器(44)は、前記一次系統における前記熱負荷用熱交換器(31)の他方に設けられ、
前記切換装置は、前記熱輸送媒体の循環方向を第1方向と、この第1方向とは反対の第2方向とに切換えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用温度調節装置。 - 前記冷熱機器(4)は、電動型の圧縮機(41)を備え、前記高温側熱交換器(42)を放熱器とし、前記低温側熱交換器(44)を蒸発器とする蒸気圧縮式の冷凍サイクルであり、
さらに、前記圧縮機を停止または作動させるとともに、前記熱輸送媒体の循環方向を切換えるように前記切換装置を制御する制御装置(5)を備え、
前記制御装置は、
前記圧縮機を作動させるとともに、前記熱輸送媒体の循環方向を前記第1方向とするように前記切換装置を制御することにより、前記冷凍サイクルにより前記熱負荷を冷却する冷却運転と、
前記圧縮機を作動させるとともに、前記熱輸送媒体の循環方向を前記第2方向とするように前記切換装置を制御することにより、前記冷凍サイクルにより前記熱負荷を加熱する加熱運転とを提供することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の車両用温度調節装置。 - 前記制御装置は、さらに、
前記圧縮機を停止させるとともに、前記熱輸送媒体の循環方向を前記第1方向または前記第2方向とするように前記切換装置を制御することにより、前記熱負荷の熱を前記一次系統によって外気へ放熱する放熱運転を提供することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両用温度調節装置。 - 前記熱負荷と前記冷熱機器とは、一体のユニットとして車両に搭載可能に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の車両用温度調節装置。
- 前記熱負荷は、車両の走行用の電動機に給電する電池(2)であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれかに記載の車両用温度調節装置。
- 前記熱負荷は、空調装置(602)であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれかに記載の車両用温度調節装置。
- 前記一次系統は、前記外気用熱交換器(32)または前記熱負荷用熱交換器(31)を通過する前記熱輸送媒体の流量を調節する流量制御装置(36)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8のいずれかに記載の車両用温度調節装置。
- さらに、前記熱輸送媒体を加熱する熱源装置(37)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項9のいずれかに記載の車両用温度調節装置。
