Abstract
Description
本出願は米国特許仮出願第61/096,546号(2008年9月12日出願)に基づくものであり、これは参考として全体が本明細書に組み込まれる。

(2) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の前記展開形状が、全般に球形である、実施態様1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
(3) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の前記展開形状が、全般に卵形である、実施態様1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
(4) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置が、白金及び白金合金からなる群から選択される金属を含む、実施態様1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
(5) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の少なくとも一部分が、超弾性材料で形成される、実施態様1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
(6) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の少なくとも一部分が、形状記憶性材料で形成される、実施態様1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
(7) 前記形状記憶性材料がニチノールである、実施態様6に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
(8) 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから機械的に切断するための手段を含む、実施態様1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
(9) 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから電解的に切断するための手段を含む、実施態様1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
(10) 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから熱的に切断するための手段を含む、実施態様1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
(12) 動脈瘤を少なくとも部分的に充填及び安定化する該動脈瘤治療のため、自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を親血管から該動脈瘤内に展開するための自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システムであって、
圧縮された未展開形状と拡張された三次元展開形状とを有する、自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置と、
プッシャーワイヤと、
該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該プッシャーワイヤに解放可能なように接続している切断可能な展開連結部と、
該動脈瘤治療のために、該圧縮された形状で該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該動脈瘤内に送達するマイクロカテーテルと、
を含み、該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置は、該マイクロカテーテルを通って展開する際に、該圧縮された形状から該拡張された形状へと変形する、自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
(13) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の前記展開形状が、全般に球形である、実施態様12に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
(14) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の前記展開形状が、全般に卵形である、実施態様12に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
(15) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置が、白金及び白金合金からなる群から選択される金属で構築される、実施態様12に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
(16) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の少なくとも一部分が、超弾性材料で形成される、実施態様12に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
(17) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の少なくとも一部分が、形状記憶性材料で形成される、実施態様12に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
(18) 前記形状記憶性材料がニチノールである、実施態様17に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
(19) 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから機械的に切断するための手段を含む、実施態様12に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
(20) 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから電解的に切断するための手段を含む、実施態様12に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
(22) 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、電流によって切断可能であり、該切断可能な展開連結部に電流を印加して該切断可能な展開連結部を切断するための取り付け付属品を更に含む、実施態様12に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
(23) 動脈瘤を少なくとも部分的に充填及び安定化する、該動脈瘤治療のために、自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を親血管から該動脈瘤内に展開する方法であって、
圧縮された未展開形状と拡張された三次元展開形状とを有する自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置、プッシャーワイヤ、その自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該プッシャーワイヤに解放可能なように接続している切断可能な展開連結部、並びに、動脈瘤の治療のため、該動脈瘤内に、該圧縮された形状の該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を送達するためのマイクロカテーテルを提供するステップと、
該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を、該マイクロカテーテルを通して動脈瘤へと未展開状態の該圧縮された形状で送達するステップと、
該マイクロカテーテルの遠位部分を該動脈瘤に挿入するステップと、
該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置が該マイクロカテーテルから出るまで、該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該プッシャーワイヤで該マイクロカテーテル内に押し込み、該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置が、該マイクロカテーテルを通って出る際に、該圧縮された形状から該拡張された形状へと変形するステップと、
該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該動脈瘤内で拡張させて、完全に展開した状態を達成するステップと、
該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該プッシャーワイヤから分離するステップと、
該マイクロカテーテル及び該プッシャーワイヤを該親血管から引き抜くステップと、
を含む、方法。
(24) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから分離する前記ステップが、該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該プッシャーワイヤから分離するために、前記切断可能な展開連結部を機械的に切断することを含む、実施態様23に記載の方法。
(25) 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから分離する前記ステップが、該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該プッシャーワイヤから分離するために、前記切断可能な展開連結部を熱的に切断することを含む、実施態様23に記載の方法。
(26) 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、電流によって切断することができ、前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから分離する前記ステップに、該切断可能な連結部を切断するため、該切断可能な連結部に電流を印加することが含まれる、実施態様23に記載の方法。
Claims (22)
- 圧縮された未展開形状と拡張された三次元展開形状とを有し、その展開の際に、該圧縮された未展開形状から該拡張された三次元形状へと変形する、自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置と、
プッシャーワイヤと、
該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該プッシャーワイヤに解放可能なように接続している切断可能な展開連結部と、
を含む、動脈瘤治療のための動脈瘤充填装置。 - 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の前記展開形状が、全般に球形である、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
- 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の前記展開形状が、全般に卵形である、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
- 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置が、白金及び白金合金からなる群から選択される金属を含む、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
- 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の少なくとも一部分が、超弾性材料で形成される、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
- 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の少なくとも一部分が、形状記憶性材料で形成される、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
- 前記形状記憶性材料がニチノールである、請求項6に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
- 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから機械的に切断するための手段を含む、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
- 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから電解的に切断するための手段を含む、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
- 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を前記プッシャーワイヤから熱的に切断するための手段を含む、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
- 前記切断可能な展開連結部が、電流によって切断可能であり、該切断可能な展開連結部に電流を印加して該切断可能な展開連結部を切断するための取り付け付属品を更に含む、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤充填装置。
- 動脈瘤を少なくとも部分的に充填及び安定化する該動脈瘤治療のため、自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を親血管から該動脈瘤内に展開するための自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システムであって、
圧縮された未展開形状と拡張された三次元展開形状とを有する、自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置と、
プッシャーワイヤと、
該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該プッシャーワイヤに解放可能なように接続している切断可能な展開連結部と、
該動脈瘤治療のために、該圧縮された形状で該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置を該動脈瘤内に送達するマイクロカテーテルと、
を含み、該自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置は、該マイクロカテーテルを通って展開する際に、該圧縮された形状から該拡張された形状へと変形する、自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。 - 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の前記展開形状が、全般に球形である、請求項12に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
- 前記自己拡張型動脈瘤充填装置の前記展開形状が、全般に卵形である、請求項12に記載の自己拡張型動脈瘤充填システム。
