Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a blasting material and a blasting method used for a base preparation blasting process in the case where a metal product is subjected to removal of coating or the like and spraying for the purpose of rust and corrosion prevention.
In a blasting method in which a grinding material such as sand is sprayed with compressed air or the like to peel off a coating film, dry blasting using a grinding material in a dry state is usually performed. In dry blasting, the abrasive material collides with the object to be processed and is crushed, so dust is generated, and dust such as rust, which is an oxide of the coating film and substrate that is peeled off from the surface of the object to be processed, is generated. To do. In particular, large costs are required for dust countermeasures, such as when repainting deteriorated paint on urban areas and river bridges.
For this reason, in this dry blasting process, various contrivances are made to prevent the generation and scattering of dust generated during work. For example, in
Non-Patent
As described in
Moreover, in the blasting device of
Further, in the wet blasting described in
Therefore, in the present invention, the removal coating film generated during the blasting process and the dust of the abrasive material are small, a large blasting device is unnecessary, and the blasting material that can eliminate the water treatment after the blasting process is possible. And to provide a blasting method.
The blasting material of the present invention is a blasting material prepared in advance so as to contain 5 to 30% by mass of water with respect to the abrasive and so that all abrasive particles are evenly wetted. As with dry blasting, the blasting material of the present invention can be collected in the blasting material storage tank of the blasting device and sprayed onto the object to be processed with compressed air, so that dust can be collected by moisture held by the blasting material. , Dust generation can be prevented. Further, according to the blasting material of the present invention, since water is contained in an amount necessary for preventing dust from being scattered, excessive waste water is not generated during and after the blasting process. Furthermore, since the blasting material of the present invention can be provided by a subdivided bag or the like after the preparation of moisture, a conventional tank for storing water becomes unnecessary.
If the abrasive contains less than 5% by mass of moisture, the moisture is insufficient and the generation of dust cannot be sufficiently prevented. On the other hand, when the water content exceeds 30% by mass with respect to the abrasive, the water is separated from the abrasive and excessive waste water is generated during and after the blasting process.
Moreover, it is desirable that the blast material of the present invention contains a surfactant. Since the blast material of the present invention contains moisture, the blast material tends to harden when being sent out from the blast material storage tank, and the fluidity may be deteriorated. Therefore, by including a surfactant in the blasting material of the present invention, it is possible to improve the fluidity and perform stable delivery.
Moreover, it is desirable that the blast material of the present invention contains a humectant. For the purpose of paint removal, smaller abrasive particles (particle diameter 0.1 to 0.15 mm) are more effective. In this case, the amount of water that the abrasive can hold increases (up to about 20% by mass). However, since a water content of 15 to 30% by mass is preferable for paint removal, it is desirable to include a humectant. In preparation of the base material for thermal spraying, the particles are preferably relatively large (particle diameter 0.6 to 0.85 mm). In this case, the amount of water that the abrasive can hold is reduced (about 15% by mass at maximum). In the preparation of the thermal spray base, a moisture content of 5 to 20% by mass is preferable, so it is desirable to include a humectant. By including a humectant in the blast material of the present invention, it is possible to increase the amount of water that can be held by the abrasive, and it is possible to evenly hold the water in the abrasive.
Moreover, it is desirable for the blast material of this invention to contain a rust preventive agent. By including a rust preventive agent, the blasting material of the present invention can lengthen the construction interval between spraying and coating performed after blasting.
(1) According to the blast material prepared in advance so as to contain 5 to 30% by mass of moisture with respect to the abrasive and so that all the abrasive particles are evenly wetted, the blast material is sprayed onto the workpiece similarly to the dry blast. Thereby, dust can be collected by the water | moisture content which a blast material holds, and generation | occurrence | production of dust can be prevented. Further, since no excessive waste water is generated during and after the blast treatment, water treatment other than the treatment of the abrasive after the treatment becomes unnecessary. Furthermore, since it can be provided in small bags, a conventional tank for storing water is unnecessary, and the entire blasting device can be reduced in size, so it is possible to install the entire blasting device on a scaffold used in on-site construction. Become. In addition, since the hose connecting the nozzle for spraying and the blast material storage tank only needs the shortest length, it is possible to reduce the reduction in processing capacity and to operate with a small air compressor.
(2) By including the surfactant, it is possible to improve the fluidity and stably send out the blast material from the blast material storage tank.
(3) By including a humectant, it is possible to increase the amount of water that can be retained by the abrasive, and it is possible to evenly retain moisture in the abrasive.
(4) By including a rust preventive agent, it becomes possible to lengthen the construction interval until thermal spraying or coating performed after the blast treatment. For example, when used for the base preparation blasting process of thermal spraying, there is a restriction that must be carried out within 4 hours from blasting process to thermal spraying construction as in JIS H8300, but by including a rust preventive, It is possible to suppress a decrease in the adhesion of the thermal spray coating when the thermal spraying is performed after 1 to 2 days, and it is possible to improve workability.

The blast
The
The blasting
As the rust inhibitor, for example, a commercially available amine rust inhibitor can be used. As the surfactant, for example, commercially available naphthalene sulfonic acid formalin compounds, sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, polyoxyethylene fatty acid methyl ester, and the like can be used. As the humectant, for example, a commercially available sodium polyacrylate can be used.
The moisture is adjusted in the range of 5 to 30% by mass according to the type and particle size of the abrasive. For example, when the abrasive material is alumina and the particle diameter is 0.1 to 0.15 mm, the moisture content is a certain amount of water, such as a bag with a water content of 5% by mass, a bag with 10% by mass,. Prepare bags filled with different types of items. Moreover, the bag which stuffs the
Moreover, when including surfactant, 0.1-5 mass% surfactant is included with respect to the water | moisture content contained in the
Moreover, it is desirable that the
In addition, in the case where a rust preventive, a surfactant, a moisturizer, and the like are included in addition to moisture in the abrasive, the total amount of rust preventive, surfactant, moisturizer, etc. It is desirable to set it as 30 mass%. Thereby, even when a rust preventive, a surfactant, a moisturizing agent, and the like are included, the ratio of the abrasive in the entire blast material does not change, so that the target blast performance can be maintained.
In the blasting apparatus having the above configuration, the blasting
The
Moreover, in the blasting
As described above, according to the blasting
Here, the difference between the blasting apparatus in the embodiment of the present invention and the conventional blasting apparatus will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 2 is an explanatory diagram comparing the blasting apparatus (FIG. 2A) and the conventional blasting apparatus (FIG. 2B) according to the embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 2 (a), in the blasting apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, the blast
As shown in FIG. 2, in the blasting apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, the blasting material prepared in advance so as to contain 5-30% by mass of moisture with respect to the abrasive and so that all the abrasive particles are evenly wetted. 1 can be provided by a subdivided
Therefore, since the
A blast test was performed by a blasting apparatus using the
This state is a state in which the
This blast material 1 (1 kg of abrasive + moisture) was projected for about 1 minute, and the state of the surface of the
As a result, it was found that when the water content is less than 5%, the generation of dust is large and the dust suppression effect by the water is small. In addition, when the amount of water exceeds 30%, the generation of dust is reduced, but the water is separated from the abrasive after blasting and excessive dripping occurs. It was found that water treatment was necessary. Therefore, in the blasting
In addition, in order to confirm the effect of the rust preventive agent, create a sprayed coating by the blasting method of this example and the conventional dry blasting method, measure the adhesion of the sprayed coating, and confirm the effect of the rust preventive agent did. As a test piece, a SS400 steel plate was blasted with an abrasive of the same grain size, and in the blasting method of this example, a sprayed coating was formed two days after the blasting. In the conventional dry blasting method, a sprayed coating was formed 2 hours after blasting (within 4 hours in JIS H8300). The adhesion strength of the film was measured by the “A.2.2 Tensile Adhesion Strength Test (Method A)” method described in Appendix A of JIS H8300 (2005). Test conditions and test results are shown in Table 7.

The blasting material and the blasting method of the present invention are useful for blasting to prevent the generation and scattering of dust generated during the preparation of a substrate when removing or spraying a deteriorated coating for the purpose of preventing rust and corrosion of metal products. . In particular, it took a large amount of money to deal with dust, such as when repainting deteriorated paint in urban areas and bridges on rivers, etc., but the present invention can greatly reduce the generation of dust itself. It is preferable in that the cost of repainting and thermal spraying can be greatly reduced.
