Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an imaging apparatus and an imaging system.
A monitoring device that detects an intruder into a monitoring area by photographing a predetermined monitoring area with a monitoring camera has been widely put into practical use. In such a monitoring apparatus, generally, an intruder into the monitoring area is monitored by displaying a video of the monitoring area captured by the monitoring camera on the monitor and viewing the displayed video by the monitoring person. . In addition, in order to perform monitoring at night, a monitoring apparatus including an auxiliary light irradiator for irradiating auxiliary light toward a monitoring area has been put into practical use.
When an intruder entering a monitoring area is monitored by a monitoring camera, it is preferable to find the intruder as far away as possible. However, since the auxiliary light is affected by the weather or the like, the image quality of the captured image may be deteriorated due to the influence, and it may be difficult to find a distant intruder.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to obtain an imaging apparatus and an imaging system that can always capture an image having a certain level of image quality or higher regardless of the influence of weather or the like. Is.
An imaging apparatus according to a first aspect of the present invention includes an imaging unit, an irradiation unit that emits auxiliary light for imaging by the imaging unit, and a control unit that controls the irradiation unit, and the irradiation unit Includes a first light-emitting element that emits infrared light in the first wavelength band and a second light-emitting element that emits infrared light in the second wavelength band that is less likely to be absorbed by moisture in the atmosphere than the first wavelength band. The control unit selectively uses the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element as the light emitting element for obtaining the auxiliary light. It is.
According to the imaging device according to the first aspect, the irradiation unit is less likely to be absorbed by moisture in the atmosphere than the first light emitting element that emits infrared light in the first wavelength band and the first wavelength band. And a second light-emitting element that emits infrared light in the second wavelength band. And a control part selectively uses a 1st light emitting element and a 2nd light emitting element as a light emitting element for obtaining auxiliary light. Infrared light has a specific wavelength band (for example, 940 nm band) that is easily absorbed by moisture. Among the various wavelength components contained in sunlight, most of the components in this specific wavelength band are absorbed by moisture in the atmosphere above the atmosphere, and the amount reaching the surface of the earth is small. Therefore, when infrared light in the first wavelength band, which is this specific wavelength band, is used as auxiliary light, the influence of infrared light of the same component contained in sunlight that becomes noise is small, and thus low noise Images can be taken. Moreover, since the 940 nm band is invisible infrared light that is invisible to the human eye, it is possible to enjoy the advantage that it is difficult for an intruder to detect the presence of the surveillance camera. On the other hand, the second light emitting element is selected during wet weather such as rain or fog, and infrared light in the second wavelength band (for example, 850 nm band) is relatively difficult to be absorbed by moisture in the atmosphere. By using it as auxiliary light, a sufficient irradiation reachable distance can be ensured. As a result, it is possible to avoid a situation in which the amount of reflected light from the object is insufficient, and thus it is possible to capture an image with sufficient brightness.
The imaging device according to a second aspect of the present invention is the imaging device according to the first aspect, particularly when the control unit uses the first light emitting element and satisfies a predetermined first condition. It is characterized by switching to the second light emitting element.
According to the imaging apparatus according to the second aspect, the control unit normally uses (in other words, uses by default) the first light emitting element. When the first light-emitting element is normally used, a low-noise image can be taken at normal times other than during rain or when fog occurs, and when the imaging device is used for a surveillance camera. Can enjoy the merit that it is difficult for an intruder to detect the presence of the surveillance camera.
In the imaging device according to the third aspect of the present invention, in particular, in the imaging device according to the second aspect, the first condition is that the received light intensity at the imaging unit when the first light emitting element is used is predetermined. The humidity in the environment in which the imaging device is installed is a predetermined value based on the measurement result using the hygrometer, the rain detected based on the image captured by the imaging unit It includes at least one of the above and that rain has been detected in an environment in which the imaging device is installed based on a measurement result using a rain gauge. .
According to the imaging apparatus according to the third aspect, it is detected that the received light intensity at the imaging unit is less than a predetermined value when the first light emitting element is used, and that rainfall is detected based on the image captured by the imaging unit. Based on the measurement results using the hygrometer, the humidity in the environment where the imaging device is installed has become a predetermined value or more, and based on the measurement results using the rain gauge, the imaging device At least one of the fact that rain has been detected in the installed environment is set as a condition for switching from the first light emitting element to the second light emitting element. By setting the switching conditions in this way, it is possible to assist when the weather changes to a situation where it is desirable to use the second light emitting element rather than the first light emitting element (for example, when it starts to rain). The light emitting element used as the light source can be appropriately switched from the first light emitting element to the second light emitting element.
The imaging device according to the fourth aspect of the present invention is the imaging device according to the second or third aspect, particularly when the control unit uses the second light-emitting element. When the condition is satisfied, switching to the first light emitting element is performed.
According to the imaging device according to the fourth aspect, the control unit switches to the first light emitting element when the second light emitting element is used and a predetermined second condition is satisfied. Therefore, for example, when the rain is switched from the first light-emitting element to the second light-emitting element, and the rain stops thereafter, the first light-emitting element can be switched again.
In the imaging device according to the fifth aspect of the present invention, in particular, in the imaging device according to the fourth aspect, the second condition is that the received light intensity at the imaging unit when the first light emitting element is used is predetermined. When the second light emitting element is used, the received light intensity at the imaging unit is a predetermined value or more, rain is not confirmed based on the image captured by the imaging unit, Based on the measurement result using the hygrometer, the humidity in the environment where the imaging device is installed is less than a predetermined value, and the imaging device is installed based on the measurement result using the rain gauge. It is characterized by including at least one of the fact that the rain is not confirmed in the environment where it is used.
According to the imaging device according to the fifth aspect, the received light intensity at the imaging unit when the first light emitting element is used is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, and the imaging unit when the second light emitting element is used. Based on the image captured by the imaging unit, rainfall is not detected, and the humidity in the environment where the imaging device is installed is based on the measurement result using the hygrometer. At least one of the fact that it is less than a predetermined value and that no rain is detected in the environment in which the imaging device is installed is detected from the second light emitting element based on the measurement result using the rain gauge. This is a condition for switching to the light emitting element. By setting the switching conditions in this way, the auxiliary light is used when the weather changes to a situation where it is desirable to use the first light emitting element rather than the second light emitting element (for example, when the rain stops). The light-emitting element used as the light source can be appropriately switched from the second light-emitting element to the first light-emitting element.
A monitoring system according to a sixth aspect of the present invention includes an imaging device, an irradiation device that emits auxiliary light for imaging by the imaging device, and a control device that controls the irradiation device, and the irradiation device Includes a first light-emitting element that emits infrared light in the first wavelength band and a second light-emitting element that emits infrared light in the second wavelength band that is less likely to be absorbed by moisture in the atmosphere than the first wavelength band. The control device selectively uses the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element as a light-emitting element for obtaining the auxiliary light. It is.
According to the imaging system according to the sixth aspect, the irradiation device is less likely to be absorbed by moisture in the atmosphere than the first light emitting element that emits infrared light in the first wavelength band and the first wavelength band. And a second light-emitting element that emits infrared light in the second wavelength band. And a control apparatus selectively uses a 1st light emitting element and a 2nd light emitting element as a light emitting element for obtaining auxiliary light. Therefore, by selecting the first light-emitting element during low-humidity weather and using infrared light in the first wavelength band (for example, 940 nm band) that is relatively easily absorbed by moisture in the atmosphere as auxiliary light, A noise image can be taken. Moreover, when using an imaging system for the application of a surveillance camera system, the merit that the presence of a surveillance camera is hard to be perceived by an intruder can be enjoyed. On the other hand, by selecting the second light-emitting element in humid weather and using infrared light in the second wavelength band (for example, 850 nm band) that is relatively difficult to be absorbed by moisture in the atmosphere as auxiliary light, A sufficient irradiation reach distance can be ensured. As a result, it is possible to avoid a situation in which the amount of reflected light from the object is insufficient, and thus it is possible to capture an image with sufficient brightness.
According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain an image pickup apparatus and an image pickup system that can always pick up an image having an image quality of a certain level or more regardless of the influence of weather or the like.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In addition, the element which attached | subjected the same code | symbol in different drawing shall show the same or corresponding element.
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an example of a usage state of a monitoring device 3 (imaging device) according to an embodiment of the present invention. A
FIG. 2 is a diagram schematically illustrating the appearance of the
FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating a simplified configuration of the
The reflected light L <b> 1 from the object to be imaged is guided onto the light receiving
Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3,
As infrared light having a high moisture absorption rate, infrared light of 1130 nm band or the like can be used in addition to the 940 nm band. However, the infrared light in the 940 nm band has higher luminous efficiency than the infrared light in the 1130 nm band and can be received by a general-purpose CCD using a silicon substrate. Therefore, the infrared light in the 940 nm band is used. It is desirable to do.
Moreover, the
Infrared light having a lower moisture absorption rate than the 940 nm band is not limited to the 850 nm band, and infrared light in various wavelength bands can be used. However, LEDs in the 850 nm band are used for general purposes and are produced in large quantities, so that they can be obtained at low cost. Therefore, since the manufacturing cost of the
The 850 nm band is visible infrared light that can be seen by human eyes. However, since it is used under conditions of poor visibility such as rain or fog, the presence of the
With reference to FIG. 2, the lens of the
The
However, the
In this Embodiment, the
It is possible to monitor not only at night but also during the day. In this case, the

FIG. 7 is a diagram showing a monitoring system 10 (imaging system) having the same function as the
In addition, although the example in which the
According to the monitoring device 3 (and the monitoring system 10) according to the present embodiment, the
Moreover, the
In addition, when the
In addition, when the
In addition, when the
