Abstract
【解決手段】波長変換構造体20は、レーザ光を導入し、レーザ光の波長とは異なる波長の光を放射する。波長変換構造体20は、レーザ光の入射を許容するレーザ入射口25を有する光透過性部材からなる導光部22と、導光部22の表面の少なくとも一部を覆う蛍光体含有層24と、を含み、導光部22は、レーザ入射口25を有するレーザ入射面を除く表面に形成された凹凸と、レーザ入射口25および蛍光体含有層24で覆われた部分を除く表面に凹凸に沿って形成された光反射膜26と、からなる光拡散構造を有する。

Claims (9)
- レーザ光を導入し、前記レーザ光の波長とは異なる波長の光を放射する波長変換構造体であって、
前記レーザ光の入射を許容するレーザ入射口を有する光透過性部材からなる導光部と、
前記導光部の表面の少なくとも一部を覆う蛍光体含有層と、を含み、
前記導光部は、前記レーザ入射口を有するレーザ入射面を除く表面に形成された凹凸と、前記レーザ入射口および前記蛍光体含有層で覆われた部分を除く表面に前記凹凸に沿って形成された光反射膜と、からなる光拡散構造を有することを特徴とする波長変換構造体。 - 前記導光部は、前記蛍光体含有層で覆われた表面に凹凸を有し、
前記凹凸を構成する複数の突起の各々の頂角が90°以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の波長変換構造体。 - 前記導光部は円柱形状を有し、
前記蛍光体含有層は、前記円柱形状の側面に沿って設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の波長変換構造体。 - 前記導光部の前記レーザ入射面に隣接して設けられた偏光フィルムを更に有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1つに記載の波長変換構造体。
- 前記導光部の前記レーザ入射面に隣接して設けられた反射防止膜を更に有し、
前記反射防止膜は、屈折率の互いに異なる2つの層が交互に積層されて構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1つに記載の波長変換構造体。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1つに記載の波長変換構造体を備えた光源装置であって、
前記波長変換構造体に隣接して設けられた半導体レーザを有し、
前記半導体レーザは、レーザ出射面が前記レーザ入射口と対向するように配置されることを特徴とする光源装置。 - 請求項1に記載の波長変換構造体の製造方法であって、
前記導光部を構成する光透過性部材を用意する工程と、
前記光透過性部材の前記レーザ入射面となる面を除く表面に凹凸を形成する工程と、
前記レーザ入射口および前記蛍光体含有層を形成する部分を除く表面に前記凹凸に沿って光反射膜を形成する工程と、
前記光反射膜で覆われていない前記光透過性部材の露出面を覆うように前記蛍光体含有層を形成する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする製造方法。 - 請求項3に記載の波長変換構造体を備えた光源装置であって、
前記波長変換構造体と半導体レーザとを互いに隣接した状態で搭載したヒートシンク台を有し、
前記ヒートシンク台は、前記波長変換構造体の側面との間に間隔をおいて設けられた光反射面を有することを特徴とする光源装置。 - 請求項3に記載の波長変換構造体を備えた光源装置であって、
前記波長変換構造体に隣接して設けられた半導体レーザを有し、
前記半導体レーザは、レーザ出射面が前記レーザ入射口と対向するように配置され、
前記導光部は、直径が0.3mm以上2.0mm以下、高さが0.3mm以上6.0mm以下であり且つ前記高さが前記直径よりも大きい円柱形状を有し、
前記蛍光体含有層が前記導光部の側面を覆う範囲が、前記導光部の円柱軸を含む第1平面と前記導光部の円柱軸を含み且つ前記第1平面に対して所定角度傾斜した第2平面とで囲まれた範囲であり、
前記所定角度が195°であることを特徴とする光源装置。
