Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a coating system and a coating method using the same, and more particularly, in a coating system that transports workpieces by a conveyor, the conveyor is stopped in the painting booth while continuing to transport the workpieces by the conveyor. The present invention relates to a painting system characterized in that a large number of workpieces can be painted without increasing the size of a painting booth, and a painting method using the same.
Conventionally, when painting a large amount of workpieces, the workpieces are placed on the conveyor at regular intervals, and the conveyor is driven to convey the workpiece, and the workpiece is conveyed by the conveyor in the painting booth. Toward this, a method of spraying paint with a spray gun fixed in the painting booth was adopted.
However, in this method, since the position of the spray gun is fixed and the workpieces are arranged on the conveyor at equal intervals, the coating material is sprayed to a place where the workpiece does not exist. There was a problem that it would increase.
Therefore, in the past, the present inventor has proposed a spray gun follow-up type coating method in which a spray gun is made to follow a work being conveyed by a conveyor.
That is, in this method, a paint spraying means having a plurality of spray guns is used, and the paint spraying means follows the movement of the work supply table to which the work to be painted is attached and follows it. Paint is sprayed onto the workpiece attached to the specific workpiece supply table, and after the specific workpiece has been painted, the spray gun is returned to its pre-following position and the new specific workpiece supply table is moved. In this way, the paint is sprayed toward the workpiece attached to the new specific workpiece supply table, and thereafter this operation is repeated. By this method, the paint is also sprayed to a place where no workpiece exists. This eliminates the waste of paint and enables large-scale painting of workpieces.
However, when the spray gun follow-up method described above is employed, if the number of spray guns provided in the paint spraying means increases, the painting booth becomes larger, thereby increasing the cost. Can be considered.
That is, in the above-described spray gun follow-up method, at the time when the coating of the work attached to the specific work supply table is finished and the paint spraying means that has followed the work supply table finishes following and returns to the original position. Since it is necessary for the painting booth to have the workpieces that have been painted and the same number of unpainted workpieces as the workpieces, a painting booth having a space for two paint spraying means is required.
Therefore, if the number of spray guns is increased in order to increase the amount of coating at a time, the coating booth will be enlarged, which will increase the cost of air conditioning energy and increase the cost. it can.
That is, since paint mist is generated in the paint booth, it is necessary to discharge the paint mist. For this purpose, the air in the paint booth is exhausted by flowing toward the exhaust port, and the same amount as the exhaust amount. It is necessary to supply fresh air into the painting booth. However, as the painting booth becomes larger, the energy for exhausting increases.
In the painting booth, it is necessary to keep the temperature and humidity in the clean room constant by air conditioning management in order to keep the finish of the painting constant. However, as the painting booth becomes larger, the energy for air conditioning also increases. End up.
Therefore, in the spray gun follow-up method described above, there is a problem that when the number of spray guns is increased, the painting booth becomes large, thereby increasing the cost.
Therefore, the present invention can reduce the waste of paint, and even when the number of spray guns is increased, it is possible to suppress the increase in the energy for air conditioning by suppressing the enlargement of the paint booth. An object of the present invention is to provide a coating system and a coating method using the same.

The painting system of the present invention
A transfer line for transferring workpieces;
A painting booth arranged in the middle of the transfer line and capable of accommodating a plurality of workpieces;
In a coating system comprising: a paint spraying means for spraying paint toward a plurality of works located in the paint booth, disposed in the paint booth,
A continuous feed motor that enables continuous driving of the conveyor is disposed on the front side of the painting booth as viewed in the moving direction of the conveyor,
A tact feed motor that enables intermittent drive of the conveyor is disposed on the front side of the painting booth as viewed in the direction of movement of the conveyor,
The first tension means for absorbing the slack of the conveyor is provided between the continuous feed motor and the painting booth in the transfer line, and the uncoated workpiece is coated while preventing the slack of the conveyor by the tension means. Place a waiting area for painting,
On the front side of the tact feed motor as seen in the moving direction of the conveyor in the transport line, the second tension means for absorbing the slack of the conveyor is provided, and the slack of the conveyor is prevented by the tension means, It is characterized in that a transfer waiting area is provided in which a painted workpiece is waited for transfer.
And the painting method of this invention using this painting system is
While the work is being painted in the painting booth, the tact feed motor is stopped so that the conveyor does not move in the painting booth, and the first tension means absorbs the slack in the conveyor. Waiting for unpainted workpieces conveyed by the waiting area for painting,
After finishing the painting of the work in the painting booth, the tact feed motor is driven to move the conveyor by a distance that allows the painted work in the painting booth to be moved out of the painting booth. The workpieces that have been painted are moved from the painting booth to the transfer waiting area while the workpieces in the transfer waiting area are sequentially transferred to the unloading location, and the workpieces that have been waiting in the coating waiting area are absorbed by the conveyor. In the painting booth, the workpiece is painted without conveying the conveyor in the painting booth, and this is repeated thereafter.
In the coating system and the coating method using the same according to the present invention, the coating booth is provided with a coating spraying means for spraying coating toward a plurality of workpieces, thereby enabling the coating of a plurality of workpieces at the same time and a conveyor. A continuous feed motor that enables continuous drive is arranged on the front side of the painting booth, and a tact feed motor that enables intermittent drive of the conveyor is arranged on the front side of the painting booth, and the workpiece is painted in the painting booth. During the process, the conveyor is not moved in the painting booth by stopping the tact feed motor.
Therefore, since the work is stopped during painting and it is not necessary to move the paint spraying means, the paint booth need only have a space for one paint spraying means. In comparison, even when the number of spray guns is increased, the painting booth does not increase in size.
Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the waste of paint, and even when the number of spray guns is increased, it is possible to suppress the increase in the size of the coating booth and suppress the increase in air conditioning energy. .
In the coating system of this invention, the conveyance line for conveying a workpiece | work is comprised, This conveyance line is comprised including the conveyor.
Further, the coating system of the present invention includes a plurality of work supply tables that can fix the work, and the work supply tables are rotatably mounted on the conveyor at intervals, with the driving of the conveyor. To be transported.
In the painting system of the present invention, a painting booth is provided on the transfer line, and the conveyor passes through the painting booth, whereby the workpiece supply table on which the workpiece is fixed is also painted with the conveyor. It can pass through the booth.
Furthermore, paint spraying means is disposed in the painting booth, and the paint spraying means is provided with a plurality of spray guns for spraying paint toward a plurality of works located in the painting booth. This makes it possible to paint a plurality of workpieces simultaneously in the painting booth.
Furthermore, the coating system of the present invention is provided with a continuous feed motor for continuously driving the conveyor, and this continuous feed motor is provided in front of the coating booth when viewed in the moving direction of the conveyor. It is arranged.
Further, the painting system of the present invention includes a tact feed motor for intermittently driving the conveyor, and this tact feed motor is disposed on the rear side of the painting booth when viewed in the moving direction of the conveyor. is doing.
A painting waiting area is arranged between the continuous feed motor and the painting booth in the transport line, and this painting waiting area is provided with a first tension means for absorbing the slackness of the conveyor. It is used to hold an unpainted workpiece for painting while maintaining the tension of the conveyor by tension means to prevent loosening.
On the other hand, a transport waiting area is arranged in front of the tact feed motor when viewed in the direction of movement of the conveyor in the transport line, and this transport waiting area is a second tension means for absorbing slack in the conveyor. The second tension means is used to keep the coated workpiece on standby for conveyance while maintaining the tension of the conveyor to prevent loosening.
Here, it is preferable to use a chain conveyor as the conveyor, and at this time, the first tension means and the second tension means include a sprocket for transporting the chain, and the sprocket in one direction with a predetermined tension. Use an air cylinder to pull
In the coating method of the present invention in which the workpiece is coated using the coating system of the present invention configured as described above, when the workpiece is coated in the coating booth, the tact feed motor is not driven and the coating is performed. The work is stopped in the booth without moving the conveyor.
In addition, when painting a work by stopping the conveyor in the painting booth, the unsettled work conveyed by the conveyor is absorbed in the painting waiting area while absorbing the slack of the conveyor by the first tension means. To wait.
In addition, after finishing the painting of the work in the painting booth, the tact feed motor is driven to move all of the workpiece supply table that fixes the painted work in the painting booth to the outside of the painting booth. Move the conveyor.
Then, while absorbing the slack of the conveyor by the second tension means, the work supply table in the painting booth is moved from the painting booth to the conveyance waiting area, and the workpiece supply table moved to this conveyance waiting area is sequentially transferred to the conveyor. It conveys to an unloading location by continuous conveyance.
At the same time, the same number of work supply tables as the work supply tables moved out of the painting booth are driven into the painting booth from the painting waiting area by driving the tact feed motor, and the conveyor is moved inside the painting booth. The workpiece is painted without being conveyed, and this is repeated thereafter.
An embodiment of a coating system of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a diagram for explaining the overall configuration of the coating system of the present embodiment. In the system, the painting system of the present embodiment is a painting system for painting the casing of the mobile phone. Next, the work supply table 6 in this embodiment will be described. FIG. 6 is a schematic perspective view for explaining the work supply table 6. In this embodiment, the work supply table 6 includes a

In the present invention, the work supply table 6 may have any structure as long as it can fix the work and can be mounted on the

In the present embodiment, the paint spraying means 10 has eight
However, in the coating system of the present invention, it is not always necessary to use a robot arm. Therefore, for example, a floor-mounted painting robot or the like may be used. The number of spray guns is not particularly limited, and the number of work supply tables that can be accommodated in the

That is, in the
Therefore, in the
Here, the
That is, in FIG. 2, 14 is the first tension means, and in the present embodiment, the first tension means 14 is a sprocket that the chain of the
The
FIGS. 3 to 5 show this operation. In FIG. 3, three work supply tables 6 are waiting in the
On the other hand, when the workpiece supply table 6 is conveyed to the
Then, the chain locked to the
Therefore, in the
Further, since the sprocket as the first tension means 14 can be freely moved in the extending direction and restored to the original position, the workpiece supply table in the
As is apparent from the figure, in the present embodiment, the
Next, 16 is a conveyance waiting area in the figure. That is, in the
That is, in the
Therefore, in the
Here, the
That is, in the figure, 17 is the second tension means, and in the present embodiment, the second tension means 17 is a sprocket on which the chain of the
That is, like the first tension means 14 described above, the
Therefore, in the
Further, since the sprocket as the second tension means 17 can be freely moved in the extending direction and restored to the original position, the workpiece supply table in the
As is apparent from the figure, in this embodiment, the tact feed motor 21 is disposed in the
Next, an embodiment of the coating method of the present invention using the
The
When the first workpiece supply table 6 to which the unpainted workpiece is fixed is conveyed to the
Then, after eight or more workpiece supply tables 6 are waited in the painting waiting area 13 (the state shown in FIG. 2), the
The number of work supply tables 6 waiting in the
Next, after eight workpiece supply tables mounted with unpainted workpieces are transferred into the
On the other hand, in the
Then, after the painting of the work in the
At the same time, by driving the
On the other hand, the workpiece supply table moved to the
Thereafter, the driving of the
Thus, in the coating system of the present embodiment, while the workpiece is being painted in the painting booth, the workpiece supply table is stopped without moving the conveyor in the painting booth. No need to move.
Therefore, unlike the spray gun follow-up method, the painting booth only needs to have a space for one paint spraying means, and the painting booth does not increase in size even when the number of spray guns is increased.
Therefore, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to reduce the waste of paint, and even when the number of spray guns is increased, it is possible to suppress the increase in the size of the painting booth and suppress the increase in air conditioning energy. is there.
In the above description, the number of spray guns is set to eight, and the workpieces mounted on the eight workpiece supply tables are simultaneously painted in the painting booth. However, in the present invention, the number of spray guns is particularly limited. It may be 9 or more, or less than 8.
In the above description, sprockets are used as the first and second tension means, and the tension of the conveyor chain is maintained by pulling the sprockets in a certain direction with an air cylinder to prevent loosening. This method is not limited, and any method may be employed as long as it can maintain the tension of the conveyor chain and prevent loosening.
In the painting system of the present invention and the painting method using the same, a large number of workpiece supply tables equipped with workpieces are arranged in the painting booth to prevent the painting booth from becoming large when painting a large amount of workpieces. Therefore, it can be applied to all painting systems and painting methods for painting a large number of workpieces simultaneously in the painting booth.
