【解決手段】工具ボディ8に、各切れ刃9の近傍に開口し、軸部8aの軸線Pに向かって延びる第1の吸引孔8dと、該各第1の吸引孔8dを合流させるとともに主軸7の軸線方向に延び、前記主軸7の切屑排出孔7aに連通する第2の吸引孔8eとを形成した。

Claims (3)
- 工作機械の主軸に工具ホルダを介して着脱可能に装着される軸部及び複数の切れ刃が設けられた保持部を有し、切屑吸引装置による切屑吸引時に切屑の吸引路となる吸引孔が設けられた工具ボディを備えた工作機械の工具であって、
前記吸引孔は、前記各切れ刃の近傍に開口し、前記軸部の軸線に向かって延びる第1の吸引孔と、該各第1の吸引孔を合流させるとともに前記主軸の軸線方向に延び、前記主軸の切屑排出孔に連通する第2の吸引孔とを含む
ことを特徴とする工作機械の工具。 - 請求項1に記載の工作機械の工具において、
前記工具ボディの保持部には、前記切れ刃の切削方向前側に位置するように形成された凹部と、該凹部を覆うカバーとが設けられ、該カバーと前記切れ刃とで前記凹部から前記第1の吸引孔に連通する切屑導入口が形成されている
ことを特徴とする工作機械の工具。 - 請求項1に記載の工作機械の工具において、
前記各第1の吸引孔の合計通路面積は、前記第2の吸引孔の通路面積以下に設定されている
ことを特徴とする工作機械の工具。
