Abstract
Description
本出願は、2007年12月12日に出願された先の出願の米国実用特許出願第11/954,690号の優先権を主張する。この米国実用特許出願は、参照により本明細書に援用される。
Claims (25)
- 無線通信ネットワークを介して触覚タイミング信号を選択的に分配するように構成されるマスタ装着可能触覚デバイスであって、前記触覚タイミング信号は、1つ又は複数のテンポを含む、マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスと、
前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスに論理的に結合されて、前記触覚タイミング信号を選択的に受信することができると共に、該触覚タイミング信号に応答してリズムを有する一連の触覚フィードバックを生成することができる、少なくとも1つのスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイスと、
を備える、触覚タイミング分配システム。 - 前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスは、身体の一部に取り付けることができる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスは、器具に取り付けることができる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記触覚タイミング信号を選択的に分配するように構成される前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスは、該マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスの動作を検知することができるセンサをさらに備え、該センサは、前記動作に応答して前記触覚タイミング信号を生成するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記触覚タイミング信号を選択的に分配するように構成される前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスは、複数の触覚信号セットを生成することができる信号ジェネレータをさらに含み、前記複数の触覚信号セットの各セットは、選択されたスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイスへ分配されるように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の触覚信号セットは、複数のテンポをさらに含み、各テンポは、選択された装着可能触覚デバイス群へ分配される、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記リズムは、前記複数のテンポのうちの少なくとも1つと実質的に同様である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 複数のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイス群に分割された複数のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイスをさらに備え、前記複数のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイス群の各群は、テンポのリズムを有する或るタイプの触覚信号を受信するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 触覚タイミング信号を選択的に分配するように構成される前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスは、非可聴時間同期列をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 無線通信ネットワークを介して1つ又は複数の触覚連係信号セットを分配するように構成されるマスタ装着可能触覚デバイスであって、該マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスは、物体に取り付けることができる、マスタ装着可能触覚デバイス、及び
前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスに論理的に結合されて、少なくとも1つの触覚連係信号セットを選択的に受信することができると共に、前記触覚連係信号に応答して触覚フィードバックを生成することができる、複数のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイス、
を備える触覚連係システム。 - 前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスは、身体の一部に取り付けることができる、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 1つ又は複数の触覚連係信号セットを分配するように構成される前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスは、該マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスの動作を検知することができるセンサをさらに備え、該センサは、前記検出された動作に従って前記触覚連係信号を生成するように構成される、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスは、マスタ時計を同期させるのに全地球測位システム(GPS)を使用する該マスタ時計を備え、
前記複数のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイスのそれぞれは、スレーブ時計を同期させるのにGPSを使用する該スレーブ時計を備える、
請求項10に記載のシステム。 - 前記複数のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイスは、複数の群に分割され、前記複数のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイス群の各群は、1つ又は複数の触覚連係信号セットを受信するように構成される、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 各触覚連係信号セットは、ターゲットとされたスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイス群をアドレス指定するための受信者アドレスをさらに含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 一連の触覚フィードバックを提供するための方法であって、
触覚データに従って第1の触覚信号セットを生成するステップと、
前記触覚データに従って第2の触覚信号セットを生成するステップと、
第1の一連の触覚フィードバックを生成するための第1のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイスへ前記第1の触覚信号セットを送信するステップ、及び
第2の一連の触覚フィードバックを生成するための第2のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイスへ前記第2の触覚信号セットを送信するステップ、
を含む、方法。 - マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスの動作を検知するステップ、及び
前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスの前記動作に応答して前記触覚データを作成するステップ、
をさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - マスタ装着可能触覚デバイス内の記憶位置から前記触覚データを取り出すステップをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記触覚データに従って前記第1の触覚信号セットを前記生成するステップは、前記触覚信号内に非可聴時間同期列を追加するステップをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイス内のマスタ時計と前記スレーブ装着可能触覚デバイス内のスレーブ時計とを同期させるステップをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 一連の触覚フィードバックを提供するためのシステムであって、
触覚データに従って第1の触覚信号セットを生成する手段と、
前記触覚データに従って第2の触覚信号セットを生成する手段と、
第1の一連の触覚フィードバックを生成するための第1のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイスへ前記第1の触覚信号セットを送信する手段と、
第2の一連の触覚フィードバックを生成するための第2のスレーブ装着可能触覚デバイスへ前記第2の触覚信号セットを送信する手段と、
を備える、システム。 - マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスの動作を検知する手段と、
前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイスの前記動作に応答して前記触覚データを作成する手段と、
をさらに備える、請求項21に記載のシステム。 - マスタ装着可能触覚デバイス内の記憶位置から前記触覚データを取り出す手段をさらに備える、請求項21に記載のシステム。
- 前記触覚データに従って前記第1の触覚信号セットを生成する前記手段は、前記触覚信号内に非可聴時間同期列を追加する手段をさらに含む、請求項21に記載のシステム。
- 前記マスタ装着可能触覚デバイス内のマスタ時計と前記スレーブ装着可能触覚デバイス内のスレーブ時計とを同期させる手段をさらに備える、請求項21に記載のシステム。
