Abstract
【解決手段】 工具本体103と、工具本体103に収容されたモータ111とを有し、モータ111により回転駆動される先端工具119によって被加工材に所定の加工作業を遂行する手持式の電動工具であって、先端工具119のトルク状態を検知する第1センサ151と、工具本体103の運動状態を検知する第2センサ159と、第1センサ151及び第2センサ159それぞれが、当該第1センサ151及び第2センサ159の予め設定された閾値を検出したことを条件として、モータ111と先端工具119間におけるトルク伝達を遮断するトルク遮断機構134と、を有することを特徴とする電動工具。

Description
また、本実施の形態においては、トルク遮断機構として電磁クラッチ134を用いて説明したが、電磁クラッチ134に変えて駆動モータ111に対する通電を遮断する通電遮断装置あるいは回転運動を停止・減速させるブレーキ等を用いることも可能である。

Claims (4)
- 工具本体と、前記工具本体に収容されたモータとを有し、前記モータにより回転駆動される先端工具によって被加工材に所定の加工作業を遂行する手持式の電動工具であって、
前記先端工具のトルク状態を検知する第1センサと、
前記工具本体の運動状態を検知する第2センサと、
前記第1センサ及び第2センサそれぞれが、当該第1センサ及び第2センサの予め設定された閾値を検出したことを条件として、前記モータと前記先端工具間におけるトルク伝達を遮断するトルク遮断機構と、
を有することを特徴とする電動工具。 - 請求項1に記載の電動工具であって、
前記第1センサは、トルク値又は単位時間当たりのトルク値の変化率を測定することを特徴とする電動工具。 - 請求項1に記載の電動工具であって、
前記第2センサは、速度センサ又は加速度センサであることを特徴とする電動工具。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の電動工具であって、
前記トルク遮断機構は、電磁クラッチによって構成されることを特徴とする電動工具。
